indeed_o when_o the_o word_n law_n be_v put_v absolute_o in_o opposition_n to_o grace_n it_o always_o so_o signify_v so_o that_o the_o sense_n of_o these_o word_n may_v be_v this_o q._n d._n for_o you_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n which_o have_v not_o power_n enough_o to_o keep_v you_o from_o the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n but_o you_o be_v under_o grace_n which_o give_v you_o strength_n to_o free_v yourselves_o from_o sin_n that_o she_o domineer_v not_o over_o you_o you_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n to_o be_v under_o the_o law_n signify_v two_o thing_n to_o wit_n to_o be_v under_o by_o any_o thing_n join_v with_o it_o afford_v strength_n enough_o to_o a_o sinner_n to_o resist_v sin_n and_o to_o perform_v those_o her_o command_n for_o the_o law_n be_v give_v by_o moses_n but_o grace_n and_o truth_n come_v by_o jesus_n christ_n john_n 1.17_o now_o to_o be_v under_o the_o law_n signify_v here_o not_o only_o to_o be_v under_o the_o obligation_n of_o the_o law_n so_o that_o a_o man_n be_v bind_v to_o do_v what_o the_o law_n require_v but_o also_o and_o that_o especial_o to_o be_v under_o the_o imperfection_n of_o the_o law_n as_o it_o command_v man_n to_o do_v these_o and_o these_o thing_n but_o do_v not_o help_v they_o as_o the_o gospel_n do_v to_o perform_v those_o her_o command_n it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v doubt_v but_o that_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n that_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n there_o be_v many_o jew_n which_o be_v free_a from_o the_o dominion_n of_o sin_n through_o faith_n these_o though_o they_o be_v under_o the_o obligation_n of_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n because_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o do_v all_o the_o command_v thereof_o yet_o they_o be_v not_o under_o the_o imperfection_n of_o the_o law_n for_o through_o 14.3_o and_o it_o be_v call_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n act_v 13.43_o and_o 1_o pet._n 5_o 12._o because_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v join_v with_o it_o they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v under_o the_o gospel_n who_o have_v receive_v the_o gospel_n and_o believe_v it_o or_o do_v obey_v it_o and_o over_o such_o sin_n have_v no_o dominion_n for_o the_o gospel_n contain_v most_o heavenly_a and_o and_o he_o therefore_o prevent_v this_o objection_n that_o weak_a christian_n may_v not_o take_v occasion_n from_o hence_o to_o think_v that_o christianity_n give_v liberty_n to_o sin_n as_o many_o which_o be_v not_o friend_n to_o christian_n will_v make_v the_o world_n believe_v it_o do_v and_o that_o christian_n so_o teach_v as_o appear_v chap._n 3.8_o ver._n 16._o know_v you_o not_o that_o i_o be_o afraid_a that_o i_o have_v be_v so_o long_o a_o slave_n to_o sin_n and_o so_o long_o walk_v after_o the_o flesh_n that_o i_o can_v be_v but_o as_o a_o slave_n to_o they_o still_o and_o follow_v they_o still_o for_o how_o shall_v i_o be_v free_v from_o follow_a sin_n or_o from_o walk_v after_o the_o flesh_n who_o have_v be_v so_o long_o as_o a_o slave_n to_o they_o this_o objection_n that_o all_o man_n have_v sin_v and_o whereas_o he_o intend_v to_o make_v that_o his_o say_n good_a by_o a_o partition_n that_o be_v by_o show_v it_o to_o be_v true_a both_o of_o jew_n and_o gentile_n and_o show_v it_o of_o the_o gentile_a from_o the_o nineteenth_o verse_n to_o the_o end_n of_o that_o chapter_n he_o begin_v here_o to_o show_v it_o to_o be_v true_a of_o the_o jew_n also_o and_o though_o this_o be_v a_o main_a drift_n of_o he_o yet_o he_o slide_v to_o it_o as_o it_o be_v to_o a_o matter_n only_o by_o the_o high_a as_o his_o manner_n be_v therefore_o thou_o be_v inexcusable_a o_o man_n whosoever_o thou_o be_v that_o judge_v for_o wherein_o thou_o judge_v another_o thou_o condemne_v thyself_o etc._n etc._n these_o word_n depend_v as_o i_o intimate_v upon_o the_o eighteen_o verse_n
of_o the_o first_o chapter_n and_o be_v a_o illation_n from_o thence_o yet_o have_v they_o some_o reflection_n upon_o that_o latter_a part_n of_o the_o first_o chapter_n also_o which_o mention_v and_o set_v forth_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o gentile_n for_o whereas_o the_o apostle_n do_v there_o reckon_v up_o many_o sin_n of_o the_o gentile_n and_o show_v that_o they_o be_v by_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n worthy_a of_o death_n we_o must_v conceive_v that_o the_o jew_n hear_v this_o do_v approve_v the_o sentence_n of_o god_n and_o proud_o condemn_v the_o gentile_n as_o worthy_a of_o death_n for_o these_o their_o sin_n whereupon_o the_o apostle_n take_v a_o occasion_n to_o condemn_v the_o jew_n out_o of_o his_o own_o mouth_n see_v that_o he_o hold_v the_o truth_n in_o unrighteousness_n as_o
