have_v they_o get_v their_o soul_n settle_v on_o the_o infallibility_n of_o god_n testimony_n nor_o consider_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o particular_a doctrine_n reveal_v in_o the_o scripture_n so_o far_o as_o sound_o to_o believe_v they_o oh_o do_v you_o all_o but_o sound_o believe_v the_o word_n of_o this_o gospel_n of_o the_o evil_a of_o sin_n of_o the_o need_n of_o christ_n and_o what_o turn_v into_o such_o stone_n and_o till_o god_n cure_v they_o of_o the_o stone_n of_o the_o heart_n no_o wonder_n if_o they_o feel_v not_o what_o they_o know_v or_o regard_v not_o what_o we_o say_v but_o make_v light_n of_o all_o it_o be_v hard_a preach_v a_o stone_n into_o tear_n or_o make_v a_o rock_n to_o tremble_v you_o may_v stand_v over_o a_o dead_a body_n long_o enough_o and_o say_v to_o speak_v to_o block_n and_o dead_a man_n how_o shall_v we_o be_v regard_v oh_o how_o sad_a a_o case_n be_v these_o soul_n in_o that_o be_v fall_v under_o this_o fearful_a judgement_n of_o spiritual_a madness_n and_o deadness_n to_o have_v a_o blind_a mind_n and_o a_o hard_a heart_n to_o be_v sottish_a and_o senseless_a mar._n 4._o 12._o john_n 12._o 40._o lest_o they_o shall_v be_v convert_v and_o their_o sin_n shall_v be_v forgive_v they_o 6._o christ_n and_o salvation_n be_v make_v light_n of_o by_o the_o world_n because_o they_o be_v whole_o enslave_v to_o their_o sense_n and_o take_v up_o with_o low_a thing_n the_o matter_n of_o another_o world_n be_v out_o of_o sight_n and_o so_o far_o from_o their_o sense_n that_o they_o can_v regard_v they_o but_o present_a thing_n be_v near_o they_o in_o their_o eye_n and_o in_o their_o hand_n there_o must_v be_v a_o live_a faith_n to_o prevail_v over_o sense_n before_o man_n can_v be_v so_o take_v with_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o see_v though_o they_o have_v the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o their_o security_n as_o to_o neglect_v and_o let_v go_v thing_n that_o be_v still_o before_o their_o eye_n sense_n work_v with_o great_a advantage_n and_o therefore_o do_v much_o in_o resist_a faith_n where_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n then_o if_o it_o carry_v all_o before_o it_o where_o there_o be_v no_o true_a and_o lively_a faith_n to_o resist_v and_o to_o lead_v the_o soul_n to_o high_a thing_n this_o cause_n of_o make_v light_n of_o christ_n and_o salvation_n be_v express_v here_o in_o my_o text_n one_o go_v to_o his_o farm_n the_o other_o be_v think_v on_o as_o a_o great_a way_n off_o and_o therefore_o too_o distant_a to_o work_v on_o their_o affection_n or_o to_o be_v at_o the_o present_a so_o much_o regard_v by_o they_o their_o body_n have_v life_n and_o sense_n and_o therefore_o if_o they_o want_v meat_n or_o drink_v or_o clothes_n will_v feel_v their_o want_n and_o tell_v they_o of_o it_o and_o give_v they_o no_o rest_n till_o their_o want_n be_v supply_v and_o therefore_o they_o can_v make_v light_n of_o their_o bodily_a necessity_n but_o their_o soul_n in_o spiritual_a respect_n be_v dead_a and_o therefore_o feel_v not_o their_o want_n but_o will_v let_v they_o alone_o in_o their_o great_a necessity_n and_o be_v as_o quiet_v when_o they_o be_v starve_v and_o languish_a to_o destruction_n as_o if_o all_o be_v well_o and_o nothing_o ail_v they_o and_o hereupon_o poor_a people_n be_v whole_o take_v up_o in_o provide_v for_o the_o body_n as_o if_o they_o have_v nothing_o else_o to_o mind_n they_o have_v to_o night_n that_o they_o can_v find_v no_o time_n for_o matter_n of_o salvation_n christ_n will_v teach_v they_o but_o they_o have_v no_o leisure_n to_o hear_v he_o the_o bible_n be_v before_o they_o but_o they_o can_v have_v while_n to_o read_v it_o a_o minister_n be_v in_o the_o town_n with_o they_o but_o they_o can_v have_v while_n to_o go_v to_o inquire_v of_o he_o what_o they_o shall_v do_v to_o be_v save_v and_o when_o they_o do_v hear_v their_o heart_n be_v so_o full_a of_o the_o world_n and_o carry_v away_o with_o these_o low_a matter_n that_o they_o can_v mind_v the_o thing_n which_o they_o hear_v they_o be_v so_o full_a of_o the_o thought_n and_o desire_n and_o care_n of_o this_o world_n that_o there_o be_v no_o room_n to_o pour_v into_o they_o the_o water_n of_o life_n the_o care_n of_o the_o world_n do_v choke_v the_o word_n and_o make_v it_o become_v unfruitful_a mat._n 13._o 22._o man_n can_v serve_v two_o master_n god_n and_o mammon_n but_o they_o will_v lean_v delude_a world_n and_o oh_o that_o too_o many_o minister_n themselves_o do_v not_o make_v light_n of_o that_o christ_n who_o they_o preach_v be_v draw_v away_o with_o the_o love_n of_o this_o world_n in_o a_o word_n man_n of_o a_o worldly_a disposition_n do_v judge_n of_o thing_n according_a to_o worldly_a advantage_n therefore_o christ_n be_v slight_v isa_n 53._o 3._o he_o be_v despise_v and_o
