intention_n of_o deceive_v they_o be_v no_o less_o a_o liar_n than_o he_o which_o affirm_v that_o to_o be_v true_a which_o he_o know_v to_o be_v false_a there_o be_v a_o lie_n in_o action_n as_o well_o as_o in_o word_n the_o whole_a life_n of_o a_o hyocrite_n be_v a_o lie_n so_o say_v the_o prophet_n of_o idolater_n there_o be_v a_o lie_n in_o their_o right_a hand_n isa._n 44._o 20._o 2._o the_o proposal_n of_o repentance_n be_v a_o thing_n fit_v and_o suit_v in_o its_o own_o nature_n to_o beget_v thought_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o a_o sinner_n that_o there_o be_v forgiveness_n with_o god_n repent_v be_v for_o sinner_n only_o i_o come_v not_o say_v our_o saviour_n to_o call_v the_o righteous_a but_o sinner_n to_o repentance_n it_o be_v for_o they_o and_o they_o only_o it_o be_v no_o duty_n for_o adam_n in_o eden_n it_o be_v none_o for_o the_o angel_n in_o heaven_n nor_o for_o the_o damn_a in_o hell_n what_o then_o may_v be_v the_o language_n of_o this_o appointment_n o_o sinner_n come_v and_o deal_v with_o god_n by_o repentance_n do_v it_o not_o open_o speak_v forgiveness_n in_o god_n and_o if_o it_o be_v otherwise_o can_v man_n possible_o be_v more_o frustrate_v or_o deceive_v will_v not_o the_o institution_n of_o repentance_n be_v a_o lie_n such_o a_o delusion_n may_v proceed_v from_o satan_n but_o not_o from_o he_o who_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o goodness_n holiness_n and_o truth_n his_o call_n to_o repentance_n be_v a_o full_a demonstration_n of_o his_o readiness_n to_o forgive_v act_v 17._o 30_o 31_o 32._o it_o be_v true_a many_o do_v thus_o deceive_v themselves_o they_o raise_v themselves_o unto_o a_o expectation_n of_o immunity_n not_o on_o gospel_n ground_n and_o their_o disappointment_n be_v a_o great_a part_n of_o their_o punishment_n but_o god_n deceive_v none_o whoever_o come_v to_o he_o on_o his_o proposal_n of_o repentance_n shall_v find_v forgiveness_n it_o be_v say_v of_o some_o indeed_o that_o he_o will_v laugh_v at_o their_o calamity_n and_o mock_v when_o their_o fear_n come_v prov._n 1._o 26._o he_o will_v aggravate_v their_o misery_n by_o give_v they_o to_o see_v what_o their_o pride_n and_o folly_n have_v bring_v they_o unto_o but_o who_o be_v they_o only_o such_o as_o refuse_v his_o call_n to_o repentance_n with_o the_o promise_n of_o acceptation_n annex_v 3._o there_o be_v then_o no_o cause_n why_o those_o who_o be_v under_o a_o call_v to_o repentance_n shall_v question_v whether_o there_o be_v forgiveness_n in_o god_n or_o no._n this_o concern_v my_o second_o proposition_n come_v say_v the_o lord_n unto_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n leave_v your_o sinful_a way_n turn_v unto_o i_o humble_v yourselves_o with_o break_a and_o contrite_a heart_n alas_o say_v poor_a convince_a sinner_n we_o be_v poor_a dark_a and_o ignorant_a creature_n or_o we_o be_v old_a in_o sin_n or_o great_a sinner_n or_o backslider_n or_o have_v fall_v often_o into_o the_o same_o sin_n can_v we_o expect_v there_o shall_v be_v forgiveness_n for_o we_o why_o you_o be_v under_o god_n
