fantastical_a impression_n or_o a_o fanatical_a illusion_n for_o our_o whole_a religion_n will_v be_v a_o falsehood_n if_o the_o great_a promise_n be_v chimerical_a or_o a_o mere_a dream_n and_o supposition_n 1_o john_n 2.25_o this_o be_v the_o promise_n which_o he_o have_v promise_v we_o even_o eternal_a life_n and_o so_o how_o can_v we_o imagine_v but_o that_o all_o the_o comfort_n which_o we_o take_v in_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n communion_n with_o god_n and_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o love_n be_v mere_a conceit_n and_o vain_a imagination_n 2._o because_o their_o future_a hope_n and_o trust_n will_v be_v utter_o disappoint_v and_o they_o delude_v in_o their_o great_a expectation_n 1_o tim._n 4.10_o therefore_o we_o both_o labour_n and_o suffer_v reproach_n because_o we_o trust_v in_o the_o live_a god_n who_o be_v the_o saviour_n of_o all_o man_n especial_o of_o those_o that_o believe_v it_o be_v our_o hope_n in_o god_n through_o christ_n or_o the_o assurance_n of_o a_o eternal_a reward_n which_o be_v the_o only_a ground_n of_o our_o suffering_n patient_o any_o thing_n that_o befall_v we_o he_o be_v the_o preserver_n of_o all_o mankind_n but_o have_v promise_v eternal_o to_o save_v those_o that_o believe_v and_o obey_v he_o therefore_o if_o there_o be_v no_o world_n to_o come_v christian_n will_v not_o only_o be_v disappoint_v of_o their_o great_a hope_n which_o be_v the_o worst_a kind_n of_o vexation_n but_o draw_v a_o suspicion_n upon_o all_o these_o advantage_n that_o we_o seem_v to_o reap_v by_o christ_n and_o enjoy_v here_o upon_o earth_n 3._o their_o earnest_a desire_n will_v not_o be_v fulfil_v if_o there_o be_v no_o blessedness_n to_o come_v we_o may_v prove_v eternal_a life_n by_o the_o disposition_n and_o instinct_n of_o nature_n towards_o happiness_n in_o general_n yea_o eternal_a happiness_n which_o if_o we_o shall_v not_o enjoy_v that_o desire_n be_v in_o vain_a but_o god_n do_v nothing_o in_o vain_a the_o apostle_n intimate_v this_o universal_a desire_n in_o all_o rational_a creature_n they_o all_o grope_v and_o feel_v about_o for_o a_o eternal_a and_o infinite_a good_a act_v 17.27_o that_o they_o shall_v seek_v the_o lord_n if_o haply_o they_o may_v feel_v after_o he_o and_o find_v he_o though_o he_o be_v not_o far_o from_o every_o one_o of_o we_o other_o creature_n beside_o man_n be_v satisfy_v with_o what_o they_o have_v here_o but_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v satisfy_v with_o nothing_o but_o the_o eternal_a enjoyment_n of_o what_o be_v good_a a_o immortal_a estate_n a_o infinite_a good_a this_o
