countrey-schoole_n to_o the_o university_n so_o shall_v they_o yet_o mount_v high_o to_o a_o three_o even_o a_o celestial_a academy_n and_o certain_o as_o the_o second_o excel_v the_o first_o so_o &_o cause_n of_o so_o many_o error_n and_o difference_n the_o consequence_n of_o error_n and_o therefore_o have_v it_o need_v of_o such_o goad_n to_o awake_v it_o and_o to_o make_v it_o open_v the_o eye_n and_o ear_n to_o this_o heavenly_a teacher_n it_o be_v most_o true_a that_o those_o who_o have_v not_o be_v teach_v in_o this_o high_a school_n of_o grace_n but_o only_o in_o the_o low_a of_o nature_n can_v well_o acknowledge_v that_o which_o they_o know_v not_o this_o school_n be_v best_o learn_v know_v and_o acknowledge_v by_o those_o who_o it_o most_o teach_v and_o those_o who_o have_v be_v well_o teach_v there_o do_v well_o know_v that_o christian_n be_v herein_o better_o than_o their_o neighbour_n even_o than_o the_o best_a of_o pagan_n because_o they_o be_v teach_v by_o god_n the_o best_a most_o transcendent_a and_o infallible_a teacher_n the_o heavenly_a teacher_n teach_v they_o both_o what_o and_o how_o to_o believe_v he_o give_v they_o his_o heavenly_a truth_n contain_v in_o his_o word_n and_o give_v they_o withal_o a_o heavenly_a mind_n to_o discern_v believe_v and_o receive_v they_o and_o thus_o while_o a_o christian_n hold_v his_o religion_n by_o a_o heavenly_a hand_n &_o both_o be_v give_v he_o by_o a_o heavenly_a teacher_n a_o christian_n tenure_n of_o religion_n be_v far_o more_o noble_a excellent_a and_o assure_v than_o that_o of_o the_o pagan_a a_o christian_a thus_o teach_v from_o above_o believe_v and_o worship_n what_o he_o know_v whereas_o the_o pagan_a worship_n what_o he_o know_v not_o even_o that_o which_o be_v have_v receive_v only_o by_o the_o way_n of_o nature_n from_o natural_a deceive_v and_o deceive_a man_n but_o the_o christian_n have_v a_o spirit_n from_o god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n for_o if_o any_o man_n have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n he_o be_v not_o christ_n and_o this_o spirit_n give_v he_o a_o spiritual_a eye_n which_o a_o heathen_a have_v not_o and_o yet_o this_o eye_n alone_o can_v true_o and_o kind_o discern_v and_o see_v spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a truth_n and_o for_o this_o spiritual_a eye_n which_o the_o christian_a have_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n the_o heathen_n and_o mahometan_n may_v say_v among_o themselves_o of_o a_o christian_a as_o once_o a_o heathen_a king_n say_v to_o his_o heathen_a subject_n of_o joseph_n can_v we_o find_v such_o a_o man_n as_o this_o a_o man_n in_o who_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o that_o such_o christian_n may_v abound_v be_v the_o end_n of_o this_o work_n which_o for_o aught_o i_o know_v have_v not_o be_v overwrought_a nor_o thereby_o make_v superfluous_a and_o unseasonable_a for_o the_o present_a age_n socin_n i_o wish_v that_o fetch_v heavenly_a knowledge_n from_o carnal_a reason_n and_o humane_a wit_n have_v not_o make_v it_o too_o seasonable_a yet_o to_o turn_v man_n back_o the_o more_o willing_o from_o this_o counter-course_n i_o have_v bring_v forth_o pattern_n of_o some_o who_o have_v teach_v and_o profess_v a_o denial_n of_o their_o own_o wit_n and_o reason_n though_o acute_a and_o excellent_a and_o have_v as_o it_o be_v quench_v their_o own_o natural_a lamp_n that_o they_o may_v get_v they_o kindle_v above_o by_o the_o father_n of_o light_n yea_o thus_o do_v sundry_a of_o they_o even_o in_o those_o time_n when_o humane_a wit_n and_o reason_n have_v make_v too_o great_a a_o mixture_n with_o the_o mystery_n of_o divinity_n yet_o then_o do_v god_n preserve_v the_o sovereignty_n of_o his_o own_o light_n in_o eminence_n and_o glory_n
