now_o if_o this_o little_a sight_n and_o these_o small_a enjoyment_n that_o the_o saint_n have_v of_o god_n here_o which_o in_o comparison_n of_o what_o they_o shall_v see_v and_o enjoy_v of_o god_n hereafter_o may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v no_o sight_n for_o so_o the_o apostle_n call_v it_o 1_o pet._n 1.8_o who_o as_o yet_o have_v not_o see_v if_o this_o sight_n of_o god_n which_o as_o it_o follow_v in_o the_o next_o word_n be_v only_o our_o believe_v in_o god_n if_o this_o fill_v the_o soul_n of_o a_o believer_n with_o so_o great_a joy_n and_o delight_n what_o then_o shall_v the_o so_o great_a o_o what_o then_o shall_v the_o joy_n of_o vision_n be_v when_o believer_n shall_v not_o only_o be_v absent_a from_o the_o body_n and_o present_a with_o the_o lord_n but_o shall_v be_v the_o lord_n have_v forsake_v i_o my_o god_n have_v forget_v i_o so_o the_o spouse_n cant._n 5.6_o i_o open_v to_o my_o belove_a but_o my_o beloved_n have_v withdraw_v himself_o my_o soul_n fail_v towards_o they_o in_o a_o duty_n and_o o_o how_o sweet_a and_o delightful_a be_v it_o to_o their_o soul_n when_o they_o thus_o meet_v with_o god_n it_o be_v heaven_n upon_o earth_n but_o these_o thing_n do_v not_o last_v for_o when_o duty_n be_v end_v the_o people_n of_o god_n grow_v careless_a and_o remiss_a yield_v to_o temptation_n give_v way_n to_o sin_n become_v vain_a and_o worldly_a and_o so_o lose_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n by_o reason_n whereof_o they_o walk_v in_o darkness_n have_v no_o manifestation_n of_o his_o love_n and_o favour_n towards_o they_o insomuch_o that_o saint_n in_o heaven_n thou_o be_v the_o sweetness_n the_o consummation_n the_o perfection_n of_o a_o saint_n happiness_n god_n himself_o who_o be_v the_o all_o of_o a_o saint_n happiness_n if_o he_o be_v not_o enjoy_v for_o ever_o can_v make_v a_o saint_n always_o happy_a unless_o a_o eternity_n of_o enjoyment_n be_v add_v to_o a_o saint_n happiness_n in_o heaven_n he_o can_v be_v full_o and_o complete_o happy_a it_o be_v true_a whilst_o he_o enjoy_v the_o happiness_n of_o heaven_n he_o be_v in_o a_o happy_a state_n but_o if_o eternity_n be_v not_o add_v to_o that_o enjoyment_n a_o time_n lord_n jesus_n christ_n not_o their_o work_n not_o their_o prayer_n their_o tear_n their_o fast_n their_o alm_n deed_n no_o nor_o their_o suffering_n also_o to_o make_v our_o good_a work_n the_o purchase_n of_o heaven_n be_v a_o great_a wrong_n to_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n who_o ever_o think_v by_o their_o do_v or_o suffer_v to_o merit_v heaven_n and_o salvation_n they_o put_v their_o duty_n and_o service_n in_o the_o place_n of_o christ_n for_o he_o and_o he_o only_o have_v deserve_v heaven_n and_o glory_n for_o we_o it_o be_v true_a good_a work_n be_v the_o causey_n or_o pathway_n in_o which_o we_o must_v walk_v towards_o heaven_n but_o they_o be_v not_o the_o meritorious_a procure_a cause_n of_o our_o obtain_n heaven_n that_o be_v only_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n our_o duty_n be_v to_o be_v zealous_a of_o good_a work_n but_o when_o we_o have_v abound_v most_o in_o the_o practice_n of_o they_o we_o must_v rely_v on_o the_o merit_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o jesus_n christ_n for_o god_n acceptation_n of_o they_o and_o for_o our_o happiness_n and_o glorification_n after_o they_o all_o that_o we_o do_v of_o ourselves_o show_v we_o to_o be_v sinful_a servant_n and_o all_o that_o we_o do_v when_o assist_v by_o the_o grace_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n make_v we_o still_o to_o be_v but_o unprofitable_a servant_n because_o we_o have_v do_v no_o more_o understand_v those_o scripture_n that_o speak_v of_o the_o justice_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n as_o that_o in_o 1_o john_n 1.19_o if_o we_o confess_v our_o sin_n he_o be_v faithful_a and_o just_a to_o forgive_v we_o our_o sin_n so_o god_n be_v not_o unrighteous_a to_o forget_v your_o labour_n of_o love_n so_o 2_o thes_n 1.6_o it_o be_v a_o righteous_a thing_n with_o god_n to_o
