service_n than_o all_o our_o adversary_n endeavour_n can_v ever_o do_v though_o our_o service_n be_v appoint_v by_o god_n and_o warrant_v by_o scripture_n yet_o even_o god_n appointment_n be_v abomination_n to_o he_o when_o separate_v from_o the_o heart_n and_o be_v only_o acceptable_a to_o he_o as_o they_o contribute_v to_o inward_a devotion_n let_v i_o therefore_o entreat_v you_o to_o labour_v so_o to_o perform_v the_o service_n of_o our_o church_n that_o it_o may_v attain_v the_o end_n for_o which_o god_n have_v design_v his_o worship_n 3._o since_o the_o service_n of_o our_o do_v your_o duty_n be_v the_o most_o noble_a and_o generous_a that_o can_v be_v and_o you_o have_v this_o advantage_n that_o you_o can_v be_v suppose_v to_o be_v zealous_a in_o your_o office_n out_o of_o any_o private_a interest_n or_o prospect_n of_o particular_a profit_n your_o maintenance_n and_o preferment_n be_v ascertain_v to_o you_o by_o law_n and_o do_v not_o depend_v on_o the_o voluntary_a contribution_n of_o the_o people_n and_o as_o you_o be_v under_o no_o temptation_n to_o please_v they_o by_o comply_v with_o their_o vice_n or_o humour_n so_o neither_o can_v you_o be_v suspect_v to_o be_v diligent_a and_o industrious_a in_o your_o office_n out_o of_o any_o such_o mean_a consideration_n since_o therefore_o what_o pain_n you_o take_v may_v well_o be_v suppose_v to_o this_o diocese_n where_o it_o be_v observe_v to_o the_o great_a detriment_n of_o our_o common_a christianity_n and_o offence_n of_o your_o brethren_n i_o know_v the_o people_n be_v fond_a of_o sermon_n and_o lecture_n of_o human_a composure_n than_o of_o the_o pure_a word_n of_o god_n in_o its_o naked_a simplicity_n but_o you_o know_v this_o to_o be_v a_o carnal_a and_o sinful_a humour_n in_o they_o and_o god_n forbid_v any_o that_o claim_v to_o be_v a_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v indulge_v they_o in_o it_o and_o therefore_o as_o you_o will_v maintain_v a_o due_a
