goodwill_n for_o here_o paul_n take_v notice_n of_o it_o 4._o a_o immoderate_a sinful_a desire_n after_o applause_n together_o with_o the_o lust_n of_o envy_n because_o of_o the_o gift_n and_o estimation_n of_o other_o be_v a_o sin_n whereof_o those_o who_o preach_v christ_n be_v sometime_o guilty_a for_o here_o some_o preach_v christ_n out_o of_o envy_n 5._o the_o minister_n of_o jesus_n christ_n have_v need_v to_o resist_v the_o very_a first_o motion_n of_o the_o forementioned_a evil_a see_v where_o it_o be_v once_o root_v in_o the_o heart_n it_o will_v make_v a_o man_n prostitute_v his_o part_n and_o gift_n yea_o the_o very_a preach_v of_o christ_n to_o the_o service_n of_o it_o so_o those_o of_o who_o the_o text_n speak_v have_v once_o give_v way_n to_o a_o spirit_n of_o sinful_a emulation_n against_o paul_n they_o rest_v not_o until_o they_o even_o preach_v christ_n out_o of_o envy_n 6._o where_o there_o be_v self-seeking_a man_n in_o the_o ministry_n make_v a_o trade_n of_o their_o excellent_a preach_n and_o other_o exercise_n of_o their_o gift_n and_o part_n main_o to_o get_v themselves_o much_o think_v of_o and_o other_o vilipend_v unity_n can_v long_o continue_v in_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n but_o such_o spirit_n before_o they_o fail_v of_o their_o intent_n will_v rather_o trample_v upon_o the_o church_n peace_n for_o those_o two_o be_v conjoin_v they_o preach_v christ_n out_o of_o envy_n and_o strife_n 7._o though_o a_o man_n preach_v truth_n and_o exalt_v christ_n in_o preach_v truth_n yet_o if_o he_o do_v it_o from_o a_o spirit_n of_o envy_n to_o get_v other_o decry_v and_o himself_o extol_v he_o be_v but_o a_o unsincere_a rotten-hearted_a hypocrite_n notwithstanding_o of_o all_o his_o preach_n in_o god_n sight_n for_o those_o man_n preach_v truth_n else_o paul_n ver_fw-la 18._o will_v not_o have_v rejoice_v in_o their_o preach_n yet_o see_v they_o preach_v of_o envy_n they_o be_v speak_v of_o as_o unsincere_a and_o unfaithful_a preacher_n who_o preach_v not_o sincere_o 8._o envy_n and_o sinful_a emulation_n because_o of_o the_o part_n and_o esteem_n of_o other_o be_v a_o cruel_a and_o unsatiable_a lust_n thirst_v after_o the_o very_a blood_n of_o those_o against_o who_o they_o have_v emulation_n for_o those_o man_n who_o envy_v paul_n will_v glad_o have_v add_v affliction_n to_o his_o bond_n and_o have_v stir_v up_o nero_n by_o occasion_n of_o their_o preach_n to_o have_v take_v his_o life_n 9_o though_o some_o that_o preach_v christ_n be_v but_o hollow-hearted_a man_n yet_o all_o be_v not_o stir_v up_o to_o preach_v from_o love_n to_o truth_n good_a will_n to_o the_o work_n and_o to_o christ_n who_o work_n it_o be_v endeavour_v what_o in_o he_o lie_v to_o encourage_v all_o even_o the_o mean_a who_o have_v their_o hand_n at_o the_o work_n for_o that_o be_v here_o commend_v even_o to_o preach_v christ_n of_o good_a will_n and_o love_n to_o wit_n love_v to_o christ_n to_o truth_n and_o
