a_o certain_a zeal_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o thus_o must_v we_o chief_o do_v if_o it_o stand_v with_o the_o order_n of_o our_o vocation_n and_o calling_n but_o if_o we_o may_v not_o do_v it_o in_o word_n yet_o notwithstanding_o we_o must_v show_v one_o way_n or_o other_o that_o these_o sin_n and_o offence_n like_o we_o not_o in_o any_o case_n but_o altogether_o irk_v and_o loath_a us._n this_o place_n be_v to_o be_v mark_v for_o the_o apostle_n do_v not_o comprise_v in_o a_o short_a aphorism_n the_o duty_n of_o the_o child_n of_o light_n to_o wit_n of_o christian_n only_o but_o also_o disprove_v and_o throw_v under_o foot_n the_o vanity_n of_o they_o that_o give_v a_o guess_n as_o the_o blind_a man_n shoot_v his_o bolt_n that_o they_o do_v their_o duty_n to_o the_o uttermost_a if_o they_o sin_v not_o themselves_o in_o their_o own_o person_n be_v never_o a_o whit_n careful_a for_o other_o moreover_o the_o apostle_n teach_v in_o this_o place_n that_o they_o also_o be_v out_o of_o the_o way_n and_o twang_v upon_o a_o wrong_a string_n who_o though_o they_o live_v in_o blind_a popery_n think_v notwithstanding_o that_o it_o be_v enough_o to_o abhor_v ungodliness_n and_o defy_v papistical_a superstition_n in_o mind_n and_o thought_n suppose_v that_o to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o abominable_a service_n théevish_a and_o heathenish_a devotion_n of_o papist_n for_o outward_a peace_n and_o quietness_n sake_n be_v nothing_o hurtful_a for_o they_o which_o either_o by_o their_o presence_n seem_v to_o allow_v these_o trumpery_n although_o in_o mind_n they_o mislike_v they_o much_o yet_o notwithstanding_o they_o put_v the_o halter_n of_o wicked_a fellowship_n about_o their_o own_o neck_n and_o what_o do_v they_o they_o understand_v not_o that_o it_o make_v no_o matter_n whether_o they_o do_v it_o of_o blind_a superstition_n or_o of_o crafty_a and_o close_a dissimulation_n see_v that_o by_o either_o evil_a as_o well_o this_o 〈◊〉_d that_o man_n make_v a_o mock_n of_o god_n holy_a religion_n and_o by_o their_o example_n partly_o confirm_v and_o embolden_v the_o ignorance_n

away_o with_o wanton_a song_n and_o vain_a pipe_n twanging_n whistling_n and_o such_o like_a wherewith_o the_o conscience_n be_v never_o a_o whit_n edify_v but_o the_o conscience_n by_o they_o be_v rather_o trouble_v godly_a prayer_n hinder_v devotion_n slacken_v and_o the_o heat_n of_o serve_v god_n quench_v the_o song_n which_o he_o require_v be_v such_o only_a as_o proceed_v from_o a_o pure_a and_o clean_a heart_n bring_v spiritual_a gladness_n and_o reioise_v to_o godly_a christian_n this_o place_n of_o the_o apostle_n therefore_o do_v teach_v in_o what_o thing_n the_o reioising_n of_o
