first_o the_o father_n of_o lie_n to_o we_o though_o then_o it_o be_v not_o here_o deny_v but_o that_o a_o teacher_n of_o something_o that_o be_v false_a may_v bring_v forth_o the_o fruit_n of_o a_o good_a life_n and_o contrary_a the_o teacher_n of_o truth_n the_o fruit_n of_o a_o bad_a yet_o 1._o here_o the_o fruit_n of_o good_a life_n can_v never_o proceed_v from_o the_o false_a doctrine_n teach_v by_o the_o one_o nor_o the_o fruit_n of_o a_o bad_a life_n from_o the_o truth_n that_o be_v teach_v by_o the_o other_o but_o the_o teacher_n of_o truth_n bring_v forth_o bad_a fruit_n from_o his_o lust_n carry_v he_o against_o the_o truth_n know_v by_o he_o and_o again_o the_o teacher_n of_o some_o error_n bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n from_o the_o truth_n which_o he_o possess_v mingle_v indeed_o with_o error_n but_o yet_o predominative_a thereof_o but_o if_o he_o be_v such_o a_o teacher_n of_o error_n as_o that_o the_o truth_n he_o hold_v as_o none_o err_v in_o every_o thing_n be_v in_o the_o operation_n which_o they_o may_v have_v upon_o his_o manner_n master_v and_o seduce_v by_o they_o here_o his_o life_n also_o must_v needs_o be_v corrupt_a whether_o he_o be_v suppose_v to_o practice_v according_a to_o his_o error_n as_o if_o he_o indulge_v some_o forbid_a lust_n because_o conceive_v lawful_a or_o whether_o he_o practise_v contrary_a to_o they_o for_o so_o he_o do_v what_o be_v right_a indeed_o but_o against_o his_o conscience_n all_o act_n against_o which_o though_o when_o it_o err_v become_v evil_a again_o if_o he_o be_v a_o teacher_n of_o such_o error_n as_o be_v express_o condemn_v by_o the_o church_n or_o at_o jest_n as_o he_o know_v to_o be_v so_o whatever_o truth_n he_o may_v hold_v or_o some_o kind_n of_o virtue_n practise_v according_a to_o those_o truth_n yet_o his_o life_n in_o general_n can_v never_o be_v style_v holy_a or_o himself_o good_a because_o he_o want_v the_o two_o fundamental_a and_o cardinal_a virtue_n of_o obedience_n and_o humility_n last_o neither_o can_v a_o good_a man_n teach_v some_o error_n be_v so_o good_a as_o if_o rectify_v in_o these_o he_o may_v have_v be_v but_o that_o he_o must_v also_o be_v so_o far_o faulty_a and_o defective_a in_o his_o manner_n as_o his_o false_a opinion_n any_o way_n tend_v to_o the_o deprave_a and_o leaven_n thereof_o this_o of_o the_o natural_a connexion_n of_o error_n and_o vice_n as_o of_o truth_n and_o goodness_n §_o 60_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d that_o where_o more_o corrupt_a doctrine_n â—re_n believe_v and_o teach_v there_o for_o the_o general_n be_v â—ound_v more_o dissolute_a 〈◊〉_d 2_o hence_o it_o will_v follow_v that_o though_o as_o have_v be_v say_v it_o may_v not_o be_v affirm_v that_o where_o ever_o a_o dissolute_a and_o bad_a life_n be_v see_v in_o a_o teacher_n or_o other_o there_o it_o arise_v from_o their_o false_a opinion_n or_o doctrine_n because_o many_o time_n our_o life_n be_v evil_a where_o our_o tenant_n be_v general_o orthodox_n and_o true_a catholic_n be_v sometime_o bad_a man_n from_o our_o lust_n war_a and_o carry_v we_o headlong_o against_o our_o knowledge_n and_o our_o faith_n yet_o in_o any_o sect_n wherein_o more_o erroneous_a and_o corrupt_a doctrine_n be_v believe_v and_o maintain_v especial_o such_o as_o give_v more_o manifest_a liberty_n to_o the_o flesh_n there_o for_o the_o general_n must_v needs_o be_v more_o carnal_a corrupt_a and_o dissolute_a life_n see_v that_o there_o be_v here_o both_o the_o same_o lust_n war_a against_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v also_o tempt_v the_o catholic_n and_o orthodox_n to_o a_o evil_a life_n and_o moreover_o many_o gross_a mispersuasion_n and_o pernicious_a doctrine_n side_v with_o and_o countenance_v such_o lust_n or_o at_o least_o not_o curb_v they_o for_o if_o our_o lust_n even_o against_o knowledge_n be_v so_o powerful_a over_o we_o how_o swift_o will_v they_o move_v we_o when_o our_o error_n go_v along_o with_o they_o and_o blow_v these_o sail_n this_o i_o say_v for_o the_o general_a for_o as_o to_o particular_n i_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o that_o the_o life_n of_o some_o person_n labour_v under_o many_o erroneous_a principle_n yet_o may_v be_v very_o regular_a both_o by_o reason_n of_o other_o truth_n believe_v which_o though_o this_o not_o observe_v by_o they_o do_v contradict_v the_o other_o false_a one_o and_o may_v suspend_v the_o bad_a influence_n of_o they_o upon_o their_o practice_n as_o also_o by_o reason_n of_o a_o extraordinary_a good_a inclination_n of_o their_o nature_n and_o help_v also_o of_o god_n restrain_v grace_n for_o even_o among_o the_o heathen-error_n have_v be_v some_o person_n of_o a_o external_a virtuous_a and_o unreproachable_a conversation_n and_o therefore_o much_o more_o may_v they_o be_v so_o among_o any_o sect_n of_o christian_n who_o can_v but_o have_v many_o catholic_n truth_n mingle_v with_o their_o error_n and_o yet_o much_o more_o
