obedience_n by_o the_o thing_n he_o suffer_v it_o be_v strange_a how_o god_n seem_v to_o contradict_v himself_o that_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o mind_n and_o truth_n must_v yet_o be_v deny_v and_o suffer_v and_o submit_v to_o do_v this_o will_n of_o the_o father_n though_o it_o be_v against_o itself_o so_o great_a and_o lordlike_o and_o command_v be_v this_o will_n of_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n he_o do_v say_v david_n what_o ever_o please_v he_o both_o in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n what_o ever_o he_o will_v do_v that_o come_v to_o pass_v if_o he_o bring_v some_o far_o on_o in_o the_o way_n man_n run_v never_o so_o far_o from_o he_o with_o jonah_n into_o the_o bottom_n of_o hell_n that_o all_o seem_v utter_o lose_v yet_o if_o he_o will_v recover_v and_o bring_v back_o from_o thence_o if_o he_o will_v have_v mercy_n nothing_o shall_v hinder_v so_o absolute_a uncontrollable_a and_o overrule_a be_v this_o will_n of_o the_o great_a lord_n without_o give_v any_o account_n of_o his_o matter_n and_o hence_o
i_o will_v have_v you_o consider_v three_o thing_n 1._o what_o be_v the_o ground_n and_o foundation_n all_o the_o happiness_n and_o favour_n that_o we_o or_o any_o be_v ever_o like_a to_o enjoy_v it_o must_v only_o be_v from_o this_o goodwill_n of_o god_n what_o he_o have_v set_v and_o purpose_v for_o or_o against_o any_o that_o shall_v stand_v what_o ever_o his_o soul_n desire_v that_o he_o do_v say_v job_n therefore_o he_o add_v when_o i_o consider_v he_o i_o be_o afraid_a of_o he_o have_v any_o of_o you_o this_o favour_n to_o have_v a_o lot_n and_o portion_n in_o eternal_a life_n it_o be_v his_o will_n that_o have_v do_v it_o his_o goodwill_n his_o good_a pleasure_n nothing_o can_v hinder_v it_o if_o he_o will_v have_v mercy_n who_o shall_v hinder_v again_o be_v any_o leave_v to_o come_v to_o pass_v so_o second_o consider_v how_o resolve_v it_o be_v and_o all_o must_v buckle_v to_o it_o even_o thing_n in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n the_o son_n himself_o must_v be_v subject_a he_o come_v down_o from_o heaven_n leave_v his_o crown_n and_o glory_n and_o must_v fulfil_v this_o will_n by_o suffer_v all_o thing_n must_v stoop_v to_o this_o great_a lord_n so_o mighty_a be_v he_o such_o a_o lord_n paramount_n so_o great_a a_o ruler_n alas_o thing_n come_v not_o to_o pass_v according_a to_o man_n thought_n and_o propounding_n but_o according_a to_o this_o will_n of_o god_n 3._o then_o consider_v how_o this_o will_n of_o god_n quite_o cut_v off_o all_o our_o will_n nothing_o that_o come_v into_o your_o thought_n shall_v be_v at_o all_o say_v god_n and_o again_o many_o be_v the_o devise_n of_o man_n heart_n but_o the_o counsel_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o shall_v stand_v and_o he_o cry_v out_o against_o jerusalem_n how_o long_o shall_v vain_a thought_n lodge_v within_o there_o be_v but_o one_o door_n to_o go_v to_o in_o all_o our_o need_n the_o will_n and_o purpose_n of_o god_n and_o if_o we_o find_v no_o relief_n there_o alas_o the_o case_n be_v miserable_a man_n can_v never_o help_v himself_o so_o that_o the_o great_a matter_n lie_v there_o to_o know_v what_o that_o will_n of_o god_n concern_v we_o be_v how_o that_o stand_v what_o his_o thought_n be_v and_o to_o be_v true_o inform_v here_o and_o lay_v submit_v to_o this_o will_n this_o be_v all_o we_o have_v to_o do_v for_o the_o thing_n be_v do_v already_o in_o the_o salvation_n of_o they_o that_o be_v to_o be_v save_v how_o contrary_a be_v all_o thing_n to_o reason_n how_o do_v they_o oppose_v and_o stand_v out_o more_o than_o any_o have_v the_o mighty_a work_n say_v christ_n be_v do_v in_o sodom_n and_o gomorrah_n which_o be_v do_v in_o thou_o they_o will_v have_v repent_v they_o in_o sackcloth_n and_o ash_n there_o will_v not_o have_v be_v so_o much_o opposition_n from_o they_o but_o yet_o if_o he_o will_v save_v he_o will_v save_v nothing_o shall_v hinder_v and_o so_o in_o those_o that_o perish_v though_o they_o seek_v the_o blessing_n with_o tear_n as_o esau_n do_v though_o there_o in_o this_o thing_n it_o will_v be_v a_o great_a settle_n to_o our_o mind_n we_o have_v many_o strange_a and_o vain_a wander_a thought_n and_o trouble_n for_o want_v of_o a_o true_a principling_n and_o set_v down_o here_o that_o all_o must_v come_v to_o pass_v according_a to_o this_o will._n thou_o will_v perhaps_o say_v but_o i_o have_v the_o truth_n in_o i_o and_o that_o cry_v and_o desire_n and_o belong_v well_o but_o the_o son_n himself_o must_v be_v subject_a the_o truth_n in_o thou_o the_o right_a desire_n of_o thy_o soul_n must_v submit_v to_o his_o pleasure_n whether_o to_o be_v answer_v or_o deny_v the_o son_n himself_o say_v not_o my_o will_n but_o thy_o will_n be_v do_v and_o it_o be_v say_v he_o learned_a obedience_n by_o the_o thing_n he_o suffer_v and_o if_o the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o truth_n itself_o which_o come_v out_o of_o his_o bosom_n into_o the_o world_n into_o the_o man_n if_o that_o can_v alter_v nor_o change_v his_o mind_n but_o must_v submit_v its_o will_n to_o the_o will_n of_o its_o father_n then_o sure_a the_o man_n who_o be_v but_o dust_n and_o ash_n he_o can_v do_v nothing_o in_o it_o his_o prayer_n and_o cry_n can_v alter_v this_o will._n therefore_o what_o ever_o thy_o desire_n be_v set_v upon_o and_o how_o right_a and_o single_a soever_o they_o may_v be_v yet_o this_o be_v to_o be_v look_v at_o in_o all_o but_o what_o be_v the_o will_n of_o the_o lord_n what_o be_v his_o pleasure_n christ_n according_a to_o his_o tenderness_n he_o will_v have_v all_o man_n save_v and_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n he_o desire_v many_o thing_n by_o his_o own_o will_n but_o he_o must_v come_v in_o again_o and_o lay_v all_o those_o desire_n at_o his_o father_n foot_n and_o say_v yet_o not_o my_o will_n but_o thou_o now_o be_v any_o of_o you_o at_o a_o strait_a and_o pinch_n to_o know_v what_o shall_v become_v of_o you_o here_o the_o thing_n stand_v it_o depend_v only_o upon_o this_o mind_n of_o god_n and_o nothing_o i_o know_v can_n or_o will_v ever_o satisfy_v you_o till_o that_o which_o the_o disciple_n ask_v for_o be_v grant_v you_o show_v we_o the_o father_n and_o that_o will_v suffice_v christ_n have_v be_v long_o with_o they_o tender_v exhort_v instruct_v and_o bear_v up_o their_o head_n yet_o that_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o they_o they_o be_v at_o a_o want_n still_o till_o that_o word_n come_v from_o christ_n and_o i_o say_v not_o that_o i_o will_v pray_v for_o you_o for_o the_o father_n himself_o love_v you_o and_o this_o stay_v they_o indeed_o now_o speak_v thou_o plain_o and_o
