we_o can_v never_o be_v sufficient_o thankful_a for_o this_o great_a gift_n that_o ever_o be_v give_v to_o the_o son_n of_o man_n we_o can_v never_o speak_v sufficient_o of_o it_o nor_o ever_o wade_v deep_a enough_o into_o the_o ocean_n of_o that_o love_n that_o present_v we_o with_o such_o a_o gift_n as_o this_o be_v howsoever_o therefore_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o bull_n and_o goat_n will_v more_o affect_v many_o than_o this_o most_o precious_a blood_n which_o they_o tread_v under_o their_o foot_n yet_o let_v those_o that_o look_v for_o part_n in_o it_o unto_o salvation_n account_v this_o precious_a yea_o and_o their_o glory_n and_o rejoice_v that_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n have_v leave_v they_o mean_n by_o the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n wherein_o christ_n be_v beget_v son_n of_o the_o father_n full_a of_o grace_n and_o truth_n and_o 18._o the_o only_o beget_v son_n which_o be_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o his_o father_n and_o joh._n 3.16_o god_n so_o love_v the_o world_n that_o he_o have_v give_v his_o only_o beget_v son_n and_o rom._n 8.32_o who_o spare_v not_o his_o own_o son_n now_o if_o the_o person_n be_v so_o gracious_a the_o work_n can_v but_o be_v acceptable_a second_o consider_v the_o sufficiency_n of_o the_o work_n be_v so_o admirable_a as_o never_o be_v the_o like_a for_o it_o be_v no_o simple_a action_n neither_o of_o god_n alone_o nor_o of_o man_n alone_o and_o so_o neither_o mere_o divine_a nor_o mere_o humane_a but_o as_o divine_n speak_v thâ—andrike_v the_o operation_n of_o both_o these_o nature_n which_o concur_v to_o one_o person_n concur_v to_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o same_o work_n wonderful_a then_o be_v this_o work_n which_o can_v never_o be_v perform_v by_o a_o meâ—â—e_a creature_n man_n or_o angel_n but_o by_o a_o person_n that_o must_v be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n three_o the_o largeness_n and_o extent_n of_o the_o price_n most_o absolute_o satisfy_v whatsoever_o be_v require_v and_o that_o in_o all_o voluntary_a obedience_n both_o active_a and_o passive_a active_a for_o he_o fulfil_v all_o righteousness_n and_o perfect_o perform_v and_o fulfil_v the_o whole_a law_n in_o our_o stead_n passive_a for_o he_o suffer_v a_o most_o shameful_a and_o curse_a death_n both_o visible_a stand_v in_o the_o separation_n of_o soul_n and_o body_n and_o invisible_a suffer_v for_o a_o time_n even_o the_o the_o lord_n will_v spew_v they_o out_o of_o his_o mouth_n 4._o some_o be_v zealous_a but_o either_o without_o knowledge_n or_o beyond_o the_o right_a understanding_n of_o the_o word_n affection_n lead_v it_o and_o not_o judgement_n at_o least_o right_o inform_v and_o this_o tend_v but_o to_o their_o own_o and_o the_o hurt_n of_o the_o church_n 5._o some_o be_v zealous_a in_o and_o for_o wickedness_n zealous_a persecutor_n as_o paul_n before_o his_o conversion_n on_o such_o fellow_n as_o be_v those_o forty_o that_o take_v a_o oath_n that_o they_o will_v not_o eat_v nor_o drink_v till_o they_o have_v slay_v paul_n 23.12_o zealous_a railer_n against_o god_n against_o his_o word_n his_o minister_n and_o servant_n against_o the_o strict_a observation_n of_o the_o sabbath_n against_o the_o most_o conscionable_a duty_n of_o watch_v against_o sin_n or_o of_o work_v of_o righteousness_n unto_o which_o they_o be_v swear_v enemy_n themselves_o and_o in_o other_o account_v it_o mere_a folly_n and_o madness_n all_o their_o zeal_n be_v against_o zeal_n but_o let_v we_o who_o god_n have_v take_v into_o his_o school_n to_o teach_v we_o better_a thing_n be_v careful_a to_o raise_v this_o grace_n out_o of_o the_o ash_n of_o it_o and_o consider_v 1._o how_o zealous_a the_o papist_n be_v in_o their_o own_o invention_n and_o for_o the_o tradition_n of_o their_o father_n and_o shall_v not_o we_o for_o the_o truth_n 2._o the_o more_o resistance_n it_o have_v the_o great_a be_v the_o glory_n to_o hold_v it_o out_o 3._o how_o that_o cold_a christian_n have_v but_o cold_a that_o hereby_o he_o get_v himself_o reverence_n that_o not_o the_o best_a only_a but_o even_o those_o which_o be_v not_o the_o very_o worst_a who_o with_o religion_n and_o conscience_n have_v put_v off_o all_o forehead_n and_o humanity_n may_v begin_v to_o fear_v and_o stand_v in_o awe_n of_o he_o which_o course_n seem_v to_o be_v close_o commend_v to_o titus_n so_o be_v timothy_n command_v to_o wisdom_n furnish_v the_o scripture_n to_o make_v the_o man_n of_o god_n able_a both_o to_o teach_v instruct_v and_o improove_v so_o as_o he_o need_v go_v no_o further_o to_o seek_v for_o profitable_a thing_n 3.16_o which_o teach_v such_o as_o will_v stand_v in_o god_n counsel_n scripture_n to_o fetch_v from_o hence_o all_o their_o doctrine_n all_o their_o proof_n all_o their_o exhortation_n and_o all_o their_o reproof_n for_o so_o shall_v they_o be_v just_a so_o shall_v they_o be_v powerful_a to_o work_v a_o work_n of_o edification_n and_o so_o shall_v they_o be_v unresistable_a in_o the_o a_o hypocrite_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n dissemble_v before_o man_n hence_o be_v discover_v as_o sinful_a all_o reproof_n of_o sin_n by_o jest_v enterlude_a and_o stage_n representation_n in_o which_o fool_n make_v a_o mock_n of_o sin_n and_o open_v a_o public_a school_n of_o all_o lewdness_n and_o iniquity_n and_o if_o any_o devil_n or_o sin_n be_v cast_v out_o there_o it_o be_v by_o belzebub_n the_o prince_n of_o the_o devil_n further_o all_o reproof_n by_o satyrize_v and_o by_o slanderous_a libel_n and_o secret_a calumniation_n all_o which_o common_o wreck_n themselves_o rather_o upon_o the_o person_n than_o sin_n of_o man_n be_v here_o reprove_v which_o although_o they_o be_v indeed_o sharp_a and_o bite_a mean_n yet_o have_v the_o lord_n appoint_v fit_a and_o sharp_a
