of_o salomon_n wisdom_n yet_o now_o she_o do_v full_o taste_v the_o truth_n of_o it_o in_o her_o own_o soul_n the_o secret_n of_o her_o heart_n be_v make_v manifest_a she_o worship_v god_n and_o say_v plain_o that_o god_n be_v in_o that_o place_n the_o divine_a wisdom_n of_o solomon_n have_v parswade_v this_o daughter_n of_o japheth_n to_o come_v to_o the_o tent_n of_o shem_n to_o be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n and_o to_o embrace_v the_o truth_n of_o religion_n and_o no_o doubt_n she_o go_v joyful_o home_o and_o endeavour_v by_o all_o mean_v possible_a to_o establish_v the_o law_n and_o worship_n of_o the_o true_a god_n in_o she_o own_o country_n our_o saviour_n as_o you_o have_v hear_v commend_v this_o woman_n and_o join_v she_o with_o the_o ninivites_fw-la who_o no_o doubt_n true_o repent_v though_o many_o of_o they_o fall_v away_o afterward_o it_o be_v true_a that_o all_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n seek_v the_o presence_n of_o solomon_n 24._o to_o hear_v his_o wisdom_n that_o god_n have_v put_v in_o his_o heart_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o this_o chapter_n i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o all_o these_o be_v call_v and_o convert_v it_o may_v be_v many_o and_o show_v plain_a testimony_n of_o her_o conversion_n indeed_o something_o be_v say_v of_o king_n hyram_n that_o he_o ever_o love_v david_n and_o when_o he_o hard_o the_o word_n of_o solomon_n 8._o not_o this_o as_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v say_v what_o will_v thou_o give_v i_o to_o deny_v myself_o to_o loose_v my_o office_n and_o to_o sell_v god_n himself_o there_o be_v three_o thing_n say_v one_o which_o hinder_v justice_n the_o favour_n of_o friend_n flatter_a praise_n and_o receive_v of_o reward_n but_o this_o latter_a be_v of_o great_a force_n than_o the_o two_o other_o there_o may_v be_v cause_n why_o punishment_n may_v be_v delay_v or_o lessen_v some_o offender_n be_v great_a than_o other_o and_o be_v ringleader_n to_o wickedness_n these_o deserve_v more_o sharp_a punishment_n other_o be_v seduce_v and_o fall_v by_o occasion_n these_o be_v more_o mild_o to_o be_v deal_v withal_o but_o the_o inferior_a magistrate_n can_v do_v nothing_o in_o such_o case_n without_o the_o direction_n and_o counsel_n of_o the_o superior_a as_o there_o be_v difference_n of_o offender_n and_o offence_n so_o there_o be_v difference_n of_o law_n against_o the_o which_o they_o do_v offend_v some_o law_n have_v their_o ground_n &_o warrant_v from_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o nature_n to_o the_o transgresser_n of_o these_o there_o shall_v be_v grant_v no_o favour_n or_o remission_n there_o be_v other_o positive_a write_v law_n of_o the_o country_n concern_v lesser_a and_o small_a matter_n in_o these_o the_o magistrate_n have_v power_n sometime_o upon_o good_a occasion_n to_o remit_v and_o pardon_v so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o against_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n to_o this_o agree_v the_o word_n of_o his_o majesty_n to_o his_o gracious_a son_n there_o be_v some_o horrible_a crime_n say_v he_o not_o to_o be_v pardon_v as_o witchcraft_n wilful_a murder_n incest_n poyfon_v false_a coin_n and_o so_o he_o conclude_v that_o favour_n be_v to_o be_v show_v in_o lesser_a matter_n and_o special_o in_o such_o as_o concern_v our_o own_o private_a cause_n but_o see_v here_o the_o corruption_n of_o our_o nature_n we_o be_v more_o severe_a in_o our_o own_o cause_n then_o in_o god_n cause_n we_o strive_v and_o contend_v and_o make_v a_o stir_n for_o our_o riches_n possession_n glory_n and_o credit_n if_o any_o go_v about_o to_o diminish_v and_o impair_v they_o how_o violent_a cruel_a and_o implacable_a be_v we_o but_o if_o it_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o god_n how_o modest_a how_o gentle_a and_o mild_a be_v we_o be_v not_o this_o to_o prefer_v ourselves_o before_o god_n the_o child_n of_o israel_n contrary_a to_o god_n commandment_n 2._o suffer_v the_o canaanite_n and_o the_o moabitish_a woman_n to_o live_v saul_n spare_v agag_n 25_o and_o the_o remnant_n of_o amalecke_n favour_n pity_n or_o compassion_n 16._o he_o say_v of_o amalecke_n i_o will_v utter_o put_v out_o the_o remembrance_n of_o amalecke_n from_o under_o heaven_n yea_o the_o lord_n swear_v that_o he_o hand_n take_v hold_v on_o judgement_n i_o will_v execute_v vengeance_n on_o my_o enemy_n and_o will_v reward_v they_o that_o hate_v i_o i_o will_v make_v my_o arrow_n drink_v with_o blood_n and_o my_o sword_n shall_v eat_v flesh_n for_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o slay_v and_o the_o captive_n when_o i_o begin_v to_o take_v vengeance_n of_o the_o enemy_n and_o the_o people_n pray_v thus_o to_o god_n virtue_n to_o all_o christian_a prince_n and_o governor_n they_o be_v in_o the_o place_n of_o god_n who_o be_v full_a and_o rich_a in_o mercy_n and_o compassion_n and_o who_o mercy_n be_v over_o all_o his_o work_n they_o be_v to_o follow_v the_o example_n and_o nature_n of_o god_n who_o image_n they_o represent_v and_o carry_v they_o govern_v and_o rule_v not_o beast_n but_o man_n and_o therefore_o all_o humanity_n be_v to_o be_v use_v towards_o they_o they_o be_v to_o punish_v with_o grief_n and_o compassion_n a_o physician_n give_v to_o a_o patient_a his_o friend_n some_o bitter_a potion_n which_o he_o can_v be_v content_a in_o love_n to_o cast_v away_o but_o only_o that_o he_o know_v that_o it_o will_v be_v for_o the_o good_a and_o health_n of_o his_o friend_n and_o thus_o magistrate_n
