for_o to_o suffer_v so_o as_o that_o we_o become_v willing_a of_o our_o own_o accord_n and_o free_o to_o undergo_v whatever_o please_v he_o we_o shall_v bear_v neither_o in_o the_o time_n of_o affliction_n depart_v from_o he_o neither_o do_v fly_v from_o affliction_n when_o they_o meet_v we_o when_o he_o shall_v take_v notice_n of_o this_o he_o will_v the_o more_o speedy_o when_o he_o shall_v see_v time_n take_v away_o from_o we_o all_o affliction_n and_o will_v fill_v we_o with_o his_o divine_a and_o supernatural_a pleasant_a and_o sensible_a consolation_n which_o true_o to_o whosoever_o it_o happen_v namely_o that_o he_o experience_n in_o himself_o this_o festival_n and_o pleasant_a solemnity_n such_o a_o one_o afterward_o relish_v no_o earthly_a festival_n he_o be_v not_o make_v joyful_a like_o common_a man_n at_o the_o solemnity_n of_o a_o mass_n nor_o at_o the_o feast_n of_o easter_n or_o of_o penticost_n nor_o final_o at_o any_o other_o feast_n this_o huge_a internal_a feast_n only_o namely_o whilst_o the_o omnipotent_a god_n come_v unto_o he_o with_o his_o supernatural_a and_o present_a grace_n in_o jubilee_n and_o triumph_n this_o inward_a feast_n i_o say_v do_v fill_v he_o with_o abundant_a joy_n and_o that_o at_o what_o time_n of_o the_o year_n soever_o it_o be_v transact_v in_o he_o at_o the_o same_o time_n all_o the_o aforesaid_a solemnity_n and_o festival_n be_v together_o celebrate_v and_o fulfil_v wherefore_o dear_o belove_v we_o ought_v willing_o to_o bear_v whatever_o adversity_n shall_v happen_v unto_o we_o for_o whoever_o he_o be_v that_o do_v by_o suffering_n attain_v to_o this_o supernatural_a and_o pleasant_a solemnity_n this_o man_n become_v thereby_o exceed_o prudent_a essential_a and_o well_o compose_v and_o obtain_v so_o great_a a_o wisdom_n by_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o he_o do_v abundant_o understand_v what_o belong_v to_o he_o to_o do_v and_o what_o to_o leave_v undo_v then_o certain_o all_o his_o in_o he_o be_v make_v fruitful_a yet_o he_o than_o have_v nothing_o at_o all_o of_o himself_o but_o always_o persevere_v in_o great_a humility_n suppose_v himself_o a_o unprofitable_a servant_n and_o evermore_o keep_v himself_o in_o a_o certain_a filial_a and_o amorous_a fear_n neither_o fear_v any_o thing_n else_o but_o lest_o he_o shall_v not_o full_o satisfy_v the_o belove_a of_o his_o heart_n his_o most_o love_a father_n in_o this_o state_n that_o be_v when_o he_o attain_v thus_o far_o all_o his_o own_o private_a institution_n and_o custom_n of_o his_o own_o will_n that_o be_v such_o as_o be_v take_v up_o of_o himself_o fall_v off_o and_o his_o conversation_n become_v simple_o true_o christian_a and_o erect_v to_o heavenly_a thing_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n he_o be_v nevertheless_o unknown_a to_o all_o man_n except_o one_o of_o the_o same_o life_n who_o have_v experience_v the_o same_o grace_n and_o solemnity_n god_n almighty_a grant_n that_o we_o may_v learn_v by_o affliction_n to_o endure_v and_o by_o suffering_n merit_v to_o attain_v unto_o this_o supernatural_a joyful_a and_o happy_a solemnity_n the_o eternal_a truth_n itself_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n bring_v we_o to_o it_o who_o with_o the_o father_n and_o holy_a ghost_n live_v and_o reign_v one_o god_n throughout_o all_o age_n of_o age_n amen_n three_o certain_a excellent_a institution_n whosoever_o thou_o be_v who_o at_o any_o time_n have_v a_o desire_n to_o attain_v unto_o god_n and_o unto_o the_o most_o excellent_a state_n which_o in_o this_o life_n can_v be_v obtain_v it_o will_v concern_v thou_o studious_o to_o observe_v these_o three_o thing_n which_o i_o do_v add_v 1._o the_o first_o be_v that_o in_o all_o thing_n thou_o aim_v at_o god_n and_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o not_o thy_o own_o but_o chief_o at_o his_o will_n &_o not_o thy_o own_o 2_o the_o second_o be_v that_o in_o all_o thy_o do_n and_o turn_n forth_o thou_o studious_o observe_v thyself_o and_o take_v diligent_a notice_n of_o thy_o bottomless_a nothingness_n and_o attend_v with_o continual_a diligence_n whatever_o thou_o be_v about_o what_o be_v do_v in_o thou_o and_o last_o have_v a_o eye_n always_o upon_o thy_o own_o ground_n 3._o the_o three_o be_v that_o by_o no_o mean_n thou_o intrude_v thyself_o into_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v not_o commit_v to_o thou_o but_o any_o dissimulation_n whole_o little_a and_o nothing_o 2._o but_o second_o let_v he_o be_v endow_v with_o the_o love_n of_o god_n not_o that_o sensual_a which_o we_o call_v love_n but_o essential_a
