according_a to_o his_o capacity_n and_o judgement_n hence_o it_o be_v that_o when_o they_o think_v they_o have_v scripture_n for_o their_o rule_n of_o faith_n instead_o of_o scripture_n they_o have_v only_o their_o own_o imagination_n for_o what_o they_o fancy_v the_o word_n of_o scripture_n signify_v they_o take_v for_o the_o true_a sense_n of_o scripture_n and_o thus_o there_o be_v as_o many_o different_a rule_n of_o faith_n as_o imagination_n of_o men._n but_o how_o come_v it_o to_o pass_v that_o every_o one_o imagination_n shall_v seem_v to_o be_v the_o pure_a truth_n and_o right_a sense_n of_o scripture_n this_o proceed_v partly_o from_o a_o great_a self-love_n and_o self-esteem_a for_o he_o that_o have_v a_o high_a conceit_n of_o himself_o be_v easy_o persuade_v that_o all_o and_o teach_v thing_n contrary_a to_o one_o another_o doctrine_n which_o can_v not_o rational_o be_v do_v if_o they_o rely_v upon_o the_o lawful_a understanding_n of_o scripture_n and_o not_o on_o their_o own_o private_a judgement_n for_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o where_o contrary_a to_o itself_o it_o disagree_v in_o no_o place_n with_o itself_o therefore_o the_o reason_n why_o they_o so_o much_o differ_v among_o themselves_o be_v because_o they_o interpret_v the_o sense_n of_o scripture_n according_a to_o their_o own_o private_a judgement_n which_o be_v divers_a according_a to_o the_o variety_n of_o judgement_n and_o understanding_n of_o men._n they_o rely_v therefore_o upon_o scripture_n not_o as_o it_o be_v interpret_v by_o the_o holy_a father_n of_o the_o catholic_n church_n lutheran_n and_o presbyterian_o and_o the_o different_a sect_n and_o faction_n of_o they_o both_o for_o every_o one_o be_v certain_a of_o the_o truth_n of_o his_o opinion_n by_o the_o private_a spirit_n which_o instruct_v he_o whereby_o it_o be_v most_o manifest_a and_o clear_a that_o this_o spirit_n be_v not_o the_o holy_a spirit_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o truth_n which_o can_v be_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n or_o at_o least_o they_o can_v not_o choose_v but_o doubt_n of_o it_o since_o every_o sect_n among_o who_o there_o be_v so_o great_a dissension_n touch_v their_o chief_a principle_n lay_v equal_a claim_n to_o the_o testimony_n of_o this_o spirit_n boast_v of_o it_o and_o follow_v it_o and_o in_o mainta_v their_o tenet_n repugnant_a to_o each_o other_o chief_o depend_v on_o it_o but_o this_o happen_v by_o the_o just_a judgement_n of_o god_n for_o as_o the_o jew_n who_o will_v not_o receive_v christ_n be_v permit_v to_o be_v blind_v by_o the_o devil_n as_o it_o be_v plain_o gather_v from_o the_o apostle_n 2_o thess_n 2._o so_o heretic_n who_o have_v desert_v the_o catholic_n faith_n which_o be_v no_o less_o a_o sin_n than_o that_o of_o the_o jew_n be_v permit_v to_o be_v blind_v by_o satan_n and_o lead_v into_o all_o ernour_n and_o if_o a_o man_n but_o attentive_o consider_v jew_n a_o great_a facination_n of_o the_o devil_n in_o our_o heretic_n mahometan_n there_o be_v only_o two_o and_o they_o not_o much_o different_a but_o among_o the_o heretic_n of_o our_o day_n there_o be_v number_n of_o sect_n some_o propagate_v one_o out_o of_o another_o by_o the_o rise_n of_o new_a opinion_n mutual_o condemn_v one_o another_o of_o heresy_n and_o all_o these_o be_v spring_v up_o within_o 100_o year_n or_o thereabouts_o which_o be_v a_o clear_a sign_n that_o the_o devil_n have_v a_o great_a power_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o these_o man_n to_o disturb_v their_o fancy_n pervert_v their_o imagination_n and_o judgement_n that_o they_o can_v neither_o stand_v nor_o rest_v any_o where_o second_o because_o the_o vulgar_a people_n among_o the_o jew_n and_o turk_n rely_v not_o upon_o their_o own_o judgement_n nor_o the_o instinct_n and_o testimony_n of_o the_o private_a spirit_n but_o upon_o the_o judgement_n of_o their_o doctor_n or_o which_o be_v the_o same_o thing_n upon_o their_o scripture_n as_o it_o be_v expound_v by_o the_o doctor_n of_o their_o own_o religion_n therefore_o they_o
