step_n or_o degree_n towards_o the_o new_a life_n the_o image_n of_o god_n in_o man_n be_v break_v but_o not_o annihilate_v there_o be_v still_o a_o true_a representation_n of_o god_n in_o he_o though_o in_o much_o darkness_n and_o confusion_n the_o image_n of_o god_n may_v still_o be_v find_v in_o man_n though_o under_o a_o huge_a heap_n of_o rubbish_n and_o if_o god_n at_o any_o time_n stir_v this_o it_o can_v but_o appear_v more_o and_o act_n towards_o god_n and_o after_o righteousness_n and_o excellency_n yea_o if_o the_o lord_n dung_n and_o water_n it_o much_o it_o will_v shoot_v forth_o very_o far_o and_o grow_v very_o large_a and_o high_a in_o knowledge_n faith_n and_o obedience_n due_a to_o god_n either_o under_o the_o law_n or_o under_o the_o gospel_n 2._o there_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n transplant_v by_o virtue_n of_o a_o dispensation_n from_o god_n there_o be_v not_o only_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n grow_v as_o well_o as_o he_o can_v on_o his_o old_a break_a stock_n from_o his_o old_a decay_a root_n but_o there_o be_v also_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n take_v out_o of_o the_o old_a stock_n and_o graft_v into_o a_o new_a olive-tree_n by_o the_o power_n and_o virtue_n of_o a_o dispensation_n in_o so_o much_o as_o he_o lose_v the_o scent_n of_o his_o old_a corruption_n and_o taste_v of_o the_o sweetness_n and_o fatness_n of_o this_o new_a root_n yea_o he_o have_v by_o this_o mean_v a_o new_a spirit_n a_o new_a life_n a_o new_a power_n this_o or_o that_o particular_a dispensation_n of_o god_n seize_v upon_o he_o by_o the_o virtue_n
