AN ADVERTIZEMENT To all Gent. Souldiers youngmen and Apprentises that goe voluntary in and about the Citie of London very necessary and usefull for every valiant Souldier to have one to peruse in the time of warre GEntlemen and worthy Prentises in and about London and else where that are by your voluntary wills freely and without compulsion Selected out for this service heare oh heare and reade Be civill be modest and be vertuous for in so doing you will gaine in the first place glory to God honour to this Kingdome and Nation and credit unto yourselves and withall let Elyah his prayer in the first of Kings 18. c. 36 37. v. for this time very usefull for you and the whole Kingdome in generall Lord God of Abraham Isaack and of Israel let it be known this time that thou art the God of this Kingdome that we are thy servants that that we do may be for the glory of thy great name the setling of the truth of thy religion heare us O Lord and let those know feele whom we go against that thou art the God that knowest all hearts bee they never so great or secret in their counsels And as thou art powerfull so wee beseech thee blessed Father shew thy power in our weakenes to quel the malice of all those that are not or stand not for the truth of God his true Religion peace and safety of the King and kingdom of the Wch we are derived this grant blessed Father for his Son that hath so dearely bought us Iesus Christ thy blessed Son our alone Saviour in whose most blessed name we end these our imperfect prayers in that most blessed forme of prayer the which he himselfe hath left for his Church children Our Father c.
