ability_n out_o of_o christ_n in_o thyself_o what_o 1._o needs_o thou_o faith_n to_o believe_v in_o he_o or_o to_o pray_v he_o 2._o why_o do_v thou_o not_o conquer_v thy_o lust_n and_o free_v thyself_o as_o thou_o seem_v to_o desire_v 2._o whatever_o then_o man_n desire_v here_o he_o must_v have_v it_o for_o it_o be_v not_o else_o whereto_o be_v have_v whether_o peace_n forgiveness_n but_o who_o the_o father_n do_v teach_v &_o uphold_v by_o his_o power_n but_o i_o that_o know_v it_o in_o he_o true_o &_o those_o to_o who_o i_o reveal_v it_o by_o my_o word_n and_o spirit_n through_o the_o cross_n &_o way_n of_o death_n for_o it_o be_v a_o unknown_a way_n to_o the_o world_n that_o by_o death_n shall_v come_v life_n and_o by_o sorrow_n and_o suffering_n joy_n and_o freedom_n so_o that_o no_o power_n or_o possibility_n in_o man_n by_o the_o strength_n
soul_n so_o religion_n the_o garment_n be_v the_o outward_a form_n of_o action_n righteousness_n holiness_n the_o body_n be_v truth_n righteousness_n reveal_v to_o the_o church_n apprehend_v by_o man_n but_o the_o soul_n of_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n even_o god_n himself_o as_o the_o garment_n and_o body_n without_o the_o soul_n be_v but_o dead_a corpse_n and_o so_o this_o without_o god_n so_o paul_n distinguish_v man_n into_o soul_n body_n and_o spirit_n by_o the_o body_n the_o outward_a mass_n of_o flesh_n the_o soul_n the_o vital_a power_n and_o sensitive_a appetite_n and_o natural_a understanding_n by_o the_o spirit_n the_o immortal_a or_o inward_a part_n in_o right_a dispose_n of_o which_o stand_v man_n peace_n and_o happiness_n for_o if_o the_o body_n be_v in_o health_n and_o the_o soul_n in_o life_n amid_o the_o fullness_n of_o its_o natural_a object_n yet_o no_o rest_n unless_o the_o spirit_n be_v satisfy_v also_o now_o when_o the_o spirit_n of_o our_o mind_n be_v draw_v by_o sensual_a power_n to_o bodily_a object_n it_o want_v life_n but_o leave_v all_o these_o be_v guide_v to_o and_o join_v to_o god_n and_o christ_n it_o be_v then_o satisfy_v and_o the_o body_n can_v be_v nourish_v with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o soul_n without_o food_n nor_o the_o soul_n with_o the_o food_n of_o the_o body_n without_o its_o object_n neither_o can_v the_o spirit_n without_o they_o both_o without_o its_o proper_a object_n &_o food_n so_o that_o the_o confound_a of_o these_o be_v the_o confusion_n &_o unrest_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o yet_o alace_o it_o be_v thus_o in_o the_o world_n man_n will_v needs_o join_v god_n and_o dagon_n christ_n and_o mammon_n without_o any_o trust_n or_o think_v of_o god_n at_o all_o like_o beast_n other_o keep_v a_o form_n of_o god_n after_o the_o flesh_n as_o they_o acknowledge_v his_o power_n and_o see_v his_o justice_n &_o fear_v &_o worship_v he_o with_o a_o far_o off_o worship_n but_o the_o heart_n bow_v to_o mammon_n love_n and_o cleave_v to_o he_o above_o all_o nay_o believer_n join_v these_o together_o some_o put_v confidence_n in_o god_n but_o more_o in_o the_o world_n yea_o how_o soon_o after_o god_n have_v show_v himself_o to_o man_n by_o his_o truth_n and_o love_n do_v he_o join_v heart_n and_o hand_n with_o the_o world_n again_o so_o that_o indeed_o this_o eat_v out_o all_o religion_n among_o we_o and_o for_o fleshly_a wisdom_n how_o do_v this_o draw_v from_o simple_a believe_v &_o ask_v a_o reason_n dispute_v with_o he_o &_o join_v the_o power_n of_o man_n &_o the_o power_n of_o god_n &_o so_o make_v man_n freewill_n a_o worker_n with_o god_n so_o that_o it_o be_v that_o man_n believe_v not_o god_n true_a it_o be_v that_o man_n be_v the_o subject_n in_o who_o god_n work_v yet_o the_o life_n and_o power_n of_o believe_v &_o work_v be_v in_o god_n and_o give_v to_o man_n by_o faith_n according_a to_o the_o promise_n and_o though_o paul_n say_v they_o be_v worker_n together_o yet_o it_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o manifestation_n not_o of_o any_o power_n they_o have_v over_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n nay_o let_v this_o god_n of_o israel_n be_v our_o only_a stay_n and_o lay_v saul_n armour_n aside_o so_o man_n abide_v in_o his_o simple_a and_o naked_a heart_n full_a of_o weakness_n like_o a_o child_n wait_v on_o god_n simple_a truth_n the_o father_n will_v come_v but_o when_o man_n think_v to_o help_v god_n he_o mar_v all_o neither_o be_v this_o a_o way_n to_o security_n but_o only_o unto_o those_o that_o pervert_v all_o truth_n unto_o their_o own_o destruction_n for_o come_v or_o i_o must_v be_v lose_v but_o not_o sensible_a of_o his_o own_o misery_n and_o forlorn_a estate_n as_o the_o prodigal_n seek_v and_o cry_n and_o pray_v till_o he_o come_v this_o keep_v he_o froâ—_n sleep_v so_o with_o we_o so_o that_o religion_n be_v a_o simple_a thing_n and_o can_v mix_v itself_o with_o any_o thing_n like_o the_o truth_n that_o join_v to_o none_o till_o death_n but_o simple_o wait_v on_o god_n with_o faith_n and_o love_n but_o when_o man_n bring_v in_o dagon_n and_o set_v he_o up_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n abhor_v it_o or_o be_v join_v to_o it_o or_o be_v deceive_v then_o no_o bring_n in_o of_o religion_n into_o a_o fleshly_a mind_n but_o first_o dagon_n must_v down_o then_o religion_n will_v stand_v if_o ever_o it_o be_v offer_v to_o a_o worldly_a mind_n it_o
