principal_o that_o he_o will_v give_v they_o grace_n to_o be_v one_o couple_v together_o in_o the_o band_n of_o peace_n love_n and_o uniformity_n that_o they_o may_v be_v of_o one_o spirit_n and_o of_o one_o mind_n that_o in_o one_o spirit_n they_o may_v further_o and_o plant_v the_o honour_n of_o god_n 2._o that_o like_a as_o christ_n neither_o speak_v nor_o do_v any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o be_v acceptable_a and_o well_o please_v unto_o the_o father_n they_o also_o in_o their_o say_n and_o doing_n may_v have_v respect_n unto_o god_n glory_n and_o that_o they_o be_v root_v and_o fortify_v in_o love_n 2._o be_v not_o vanquish_v nor_o overcome_v of_o the_o pleasure_n or_o threatening_n of_o this_o world_n second_o that_o in_o all_o their_o labour_n and_o travail_n in_o all_o adversity_n and_o persecution_n he_o will_v put_v into_o their_o heart_n his_o own_o comfort_n and_o spiritual_a joy_n for_o the_o world_n have_v manifold_a mirth_n pastime_n and_o pleasure_n much_o brag_a and_o wilfulness_n use_v it_o in_o the_o riches_n and_o fleshly_a voluptuousness_n thereof_o 15._o but_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o christ_n see_v he_o have_v sever_v they_o from_o the_o world_n must_v and_o aught_o to_o refrain_v and_o absent_v themselves_o from_o all_o worldly_a joy_n and_o voluptuousness_n yea_o it_o be_v they_o that_o aught_o to_o dissuade_v the_o world_n from_o such_o wantonness_n and_o vanity_n by_o mean_n of_o who_o faithful_a admonition_n there_o fall_v much_o hatred_n and_o trouble_n upon_o they_o neither_o be_v it_o to_o the_o furtherance_n of_o god_n honour_n and_o our_o commodity_n to_o have_v they_o utterlye_o take_v away_o out_o of_o this_o world_n therefore_o do_v christ_n desire_v and_o so_o must_v we_o with_o he_o that_o from_o evil_a namely_o from_o the_o devil_n the_o prince_n of_o this_o world_n who_o stir_v the_o world_n against_o they_o they_o may_v of_o the_o father_n in_o the_o world_n be_v defend_v and_o keep_v three_o that_o he_o will_v sanctify_v and_o cleanse_v they_o afore_o other_o man_n that_o they_o may_v be_v holy_a and_o pure_a vessel_n in_o the_o house_n and_o temple_n that_o be_v in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n for_o they_o be_v mean_n &_o instrument_n by_o who_o god_n minister_v his_o grace_n and_o truth_n unto_o man_n therefore_o be_v it_o also_o convenient_a that_o they_o be_v pure_a and_o holy_a 4._o this_o come_v through_o the_o truth_n that_o god_n put_v in_o their_o mouth_n and_o heart_n by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o inward_o purify_v they_o but_o then_o be_v they_o holy_a when_o they_o teach_v truth_n and_o live_v godly_a into_o the_o world_n have_v christ_n send_v they_o as_o the_o father_n send_v he_o into_o the_o world_n the_o father_n send_v christ_n into_o the_o world_n that_o he_o shall_v destroy_v the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o of_o the_o world_n that_o he_o shall_v declare_v unto_o the_o world_n the_o grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n towards_o mankind_n that_o he_o shall_v bring_v man_n from_o sin_n and_o from_o false_a idolatrish_a faith_n to_o the_o true_a live_a god_n and_o to_o a_o virtuous_a conversation_n that_o he_o with_o the_o light_n of_o truth_n shall_v shine_v upon_o those_o which_o sit_v in_o darkness_n that_o he_o shall_v bring_v the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n into_o the_o world_n &_o exhort_v man_n to_o the_o amendment_n of_o life_n even_o this_o have_v christ_n give_v in_o commission_n to_o his_o apostle_n and_o to_o all_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n to_o do_v this_o be_v their_o office_n this_o be_v their_o ministration_n unto_o this_o have_v they_o great_a need_n of_o the_o grace_n power_n and_o assistance_n of_o god_n therefore_o ought_v we_o most_o earnest_o to_o pray_v for_o they_o for_o if_o they_o fail_v or_o fall_v it_o hurt_v the_o whole_a church_n yea_o out_o of_o the_o same_o there_o grow_v slander_n unto_o the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o unbeliever_n and_o a_o occasion_n of_o fall_v 36_o to_o such_o as_o be_v weak_a of_o faith_n therefore_o christ_n also_o offer_v himself_o to_o the_o father_n for_o they_o and_o sanctify_v they_o that_o they_o may_v be_v pure_a and_o holy_a not_o in_o outward_a appearance_n but_o from_o the_o heart_n and_o in_o the_o truth_n that_o through_o their_o uniformity_n &_o love_n through_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n which_o they_o preach_v through_o the_o holiness_n of_o their_o doctrine_n and_o live_n all_o man_n and_o the_o whole_a world_n may_v know_v and_o understand_v that_o god_n have_v send_v they_o yea_o that_o god_n send_v his_o son_n christ_n into_o the_o world_n unto_o who_o they_o with_o mouth_n and_o life_n bear_v record_n and_o who_o also_o every_o where_n shine_v out_o of_o they_o with_o word_n and_o deed_n not_o only_o for_o they_o have_v christ_n pray_v but_o also_o for_o we_o as_o many_o as_o hearken_v and_o believe_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n preach_v by_o they_o wherein_o first_o we_o may_v perceive_v and_o see_v the_o love_n faithfulness_n and_o great_a care_n of_o christ_n for_o we_o how_o earnest_o the_o trusty_a shepherd_n of_o our_o soul_n commit_v his_o poor_a sheep_n into_o his_o father_n protection_n how_o faithful_o our_o mediator_n and_o advocate_n pray_v for_o we_o whereby_o also_o he_o set_v forth_o a_o doctrine_n unto_o we_o how_o and_o what_o we_o shall_v pray_v of_o the_o heavenly_a father_n first_o that_o he_o will_v make_v we_o one_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n in_o the_o truth_n in_o the_o unity_n of_o faith_n and_o in_o love_n unseparable_a 2._o that_o we_o his_o fatherly_a goodness_n he_o will_v defend_v save_v &_o preserve_v we_o his_o own_o poor_a sheep_n which_o be_v in_o the_o midst_n among_o wolf_n &_o manifold_a danger_n 10._o and_o see_v we_o be_v yet_o in_o the_o world_n do_v not_o live_v after_o the_o world_n that_o it_o will_v please_v he_o to_o keep_v we_o from_o the_o evil_a namely_o from_o the_o prince_n of_o of_o this_o world_n and_o of_o the_o world_n do_v daily_o defile_v we_o it_o will_v please_v he_o through_o his_o truth_n to_o purge_v and_o sanctify_v our_o body_n our_o soul_n 6_o and_o our_o whole_a life_n that_o we_o may_v become_v a_o holy_a temple_n of_o his_o grace_n pure_a clean_a &_o holy_a vessel_n consecrate_v &_o sanctify_v to_o god_n own_o use_n he_o have_v once_o purify_v &_o hallow_v we_o through_o the_o blood_n of_o his_o son_n and_o unto_o the_o father_n have_v christ_n sanctify_v and_o offer_v up_o himself_o a_o holy_a acceptable_a sacrifice_n for_o our_o sin_n but_o the_o devil_n the_o world_n and_o our_o flesh_n be_v ever_o busy_a to_o lead_v we_o away_o again_o from_o god_n &_o from_o true_a holiness_n therefore_o must_v we_o daily_o pray_v unto_o he_o that_o through_o his_o holy_a spirit_n &_o through_o his_o holy_a truth_n he_o will_v continual_o purge_v cleanse_v &_o sanctify_v we_o that_o we_o be_v not_o dissemble_v hypocrite_n but_o godly_a and_o unfeigned_a even_o life_n for_o his_o sheep_n such_o peril_n do_v christ_n promise_v unto_o peter_n namely_o that_o he_o must_v die_v and_o with_o what_o death_n afore-time_o when_o he_o be_v young_a he_o seek_v that_o strength_n give_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o such_o shepherd_n and_o sheep_n as_o be_v faithful_a to_o suffer_v death_n for_o christ_n sake_n death_n be_v not_o now_o so_o to_o be_v fear_v of_o we_o that_o we_o will_v therefore_o go_v back_o from_o the_o truth_n for_o by_o death_n do_v not_o we_o lose_v life_n yea_o christ_n have_v make_v death_n to_o be_v the_o way_n unto_o life_n and_o by_o his_o resurrection_n he_o have_v set_v forth_o unto_o we_o a_o example_n of_o another_o life_n which_o be_v immortal_a peter_n be_v first_o afraid_a and_o fear_a death_n and_o will_v have_v dissuade_v life_n itself_o yet_o please_v it_o he_o to_o suffer_v death_n for_o us._n see_v then_o that_o he_o alone_o die_v for_o we_o we_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v ashamed_a neither_o shall_v it_o grieve_v we_o to_o die_v also_o for_o he_o special_o consider_v that_o the_o publish_n of_o so_o excellent_a grace_n be_v commit_v unto_o us._n when_o the_o shepherd_n die_v for_o the_o sheep_n it_o be_v no_o great_a matter_n if_o the_o sheep_n die_v for_o the_o shepherd_n sake_n forasmuch_o now_o as_o the_o faithful_a shepherd_n with_o his_o love_n direct_v and_o encourage_v many_o of_o the_o sheep_n to_o die_v for_o his_o name_n sake_n how_o much_o more_o meet_a be_v it_o that_o the_o shepherd_n be_v the_o first_o which_o jeopardy_v their_o life_n strive_v for_o the_o truth_n and_o even_o unto_o be_v they_o unto_o who_o god_n give_v the_o high_a gift_n of_o his_o truth_n the_o world_n that_o be_v to_o say_v fleshly_a man_n and_o child_n of_o the_o world_n receive_v not_o this_o spirit_n for_o they_o despise_v the_o word_n of_o christ_n and_o laugh_v it_o to_o scorn_v therefore_o god_n show_v not_o himself_o unto_o they_o for_o they_o love_v he_o not_o which_o thing_n they_o declare_v in_o that_o they_o refuse_v his_o word_n but_o who_o so_o receive_v his_o word_n show_v thereby_o that_o he_o love_v christ_n and_o god_n he_o will_v god_n love_v again_o and_o open_v himself_o ever_o more_o and_o more_o unto_o he_o this_o be_v a_o high_a reward_n which_o god_n give_v unto_o his_o lover_n that_o he_o come_v unto_o they_o make_v his_o dwell_n and_o abide_v always_o with_o they_o forasmuch_o as_o there_o remain_v much_o trouble_n and_o adversity_n unto_o all_o faithful_a believer_n while_o they_o live_v in_o this_o time_n spirit_n christ_n do_v therefore_o promise_v they_o his_o peace_n against_o the_o turmoyl_a unquietnes_n and_o trouble_v of_o this_o world_n in_o the_o world_n be_v many_o hurley_a burlye_n and_o adversity_n in_o christ_n we_o find_v true_a peace_n and_o quietness_n and_o christ_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v he_o give_v such_o a_o peace_n 4._o as_o surmount_v all_o understanding_n in_o the_o which_o peace_n they_o be_v couple_v and_o knit_v be_v able_a valiant_o to_o overcome_v all_o enemy_n and_o adversity_n for_o in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o know_v and_o be_v undoubted_o assure_v through_o faith_n that_o their_o sin_n be_v forgive_v and_o take_v away_o by_o christ_n that_o the_o father_n of_o heaven_n be_v favourable_a and_o gracious_a unto_o they_o that_o they_o be_v his_o own_o child_n and_o inheritor_n they_o do_v little_o pass_v what_o thing_n outward_o happen_v unto_o they_o all_o adversity_n and_o trouble_n that_o outward_o be_v lay_v upon_o they_o be_v through_o the_o inward_a joy_n and_o peace_n which_o they_o have_v in_o god_n clean_o swallow_v up_o and_o so_o forget_v they_o settle_v and_o stay_v their_o heart_n upon_o salvation_n and_o eternal_a peace_n the_o peace_n of_o the_o world_n seek_v quietness_n &_o rest_n the_o world_n through_o i_o publish_v you_o unto_o all_o man_n though_o you_o must_v loose_v your_o life_n therefore_o if_o the_o world_n hate_v you_o you_o know_v that_o it_o hate_v i_o before_o it_o hate_v you_o if_o you_o be_v of_o the_o world_n the_o world_n will_v love_v his_o own_o howbeit_o because_o you_o be_v not_o of_o the_o world_n but_o i_o have_v choose_v you_o out_o of_o the_o world_n we_o unto_o death_n contemn_v and_o despise_v the_o word_n which_o we_o offer_v they_o from_o god_n whereby_o they_o may_v be_v save_v and_o go_v about_o by_o all_o mean_n to_o root_v it_o out_o but_o all_o this_o ought_v not_o to_o drive_v we_o back_o patienes_n or_o discourage_v we_o for_o in_o this_o world_n must_v we_o seek_v no_o high_a honour_n nor_o praise_n but_o willing_o humble_a and_o submit_v ourselves_o under_o the_o rebuke_n and_o cross_v with_o christ_n our_o head_n 13._o christ_n also_o exhort_v we_o to_o follow_v his_o footstep_n and_o to_o do_v after_o his_o example_n and_o not_o to_o forsake_v the_o truth_n and_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n for_o their_o hatred_n but_o constant_o to_o proceed_v and_o do_v our_o best_a to_o guide_v all_o man_n unto_o god_n and_o if_o he_o talk_v yet_o daily_o with_o we_o provoke_v and_o call_v we_o therefore_o ought_v we_o to_o cease_v from_o sin_n and_o not_o to_o fashion_v ourselves_o after_o the_o world_n 12._o for_o if_o we_o will_v live_v to_o please_v the_o world_n to_o serve_v it_o and_o to_o hunt_v after_o the_o favour_n and_o praise_n of_o it_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v faithful_a minister_n of_o jesus_n christ_n we_o ought_v not_o to_o look_v for_o worldly_a honour_n but_o to_o have_v respect_n to_o the_o eternal_a glory_n which_o we_o shall_v have_v with_o christ_n our_o head_n yea_o so_o far_o as_o we_o suffer_v rebuke_v and_o dishonour_n with_o he_o when_o he_o live_v in_o this_o time_n and_o practise_v the_o truth_n against_o the_o pharisy_n he_o be_v revile_v put_v to_o shame_n and_o death_n the_o same_o happen_v also_o unto_o we_o for_o we_o be_v not_o above_o the_o lord_n a_o evil_a token_n be_v it_o if_o the_o world_n love_v us._n patient_o therefore_o and_o with_o joy_n ought_v we_o to_o bear_v such_o rebuke_n and_o shame_n as_o happen_v unto_o we_o for_o his_o name_n sake_n by_o those_o that_o hate_v the_o truth_n for_o our_o honour_n and_o reward_n be_v great_a in_o heaven_n but_o after_o our_o trouble_n shall_v the_o same_o be_v first_o open_v as_o it_o happen_v also_o unto_o christ_n our_o head_n first_o after_o the_o cross_n but_o when_o the_o comforter_n be_v come_v who_o i_o will_v send_v unto_o you_o from_o the_o father_n even_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n which_o proceed_v of_o the_o father_n he_o shall_v testify_v of_o i_o and_o you_o be_v witness_n also_o because_o you_o have_v be_v with_o i_o from_o the_o beginning_n these_o thing_n have_v i_o say_v unto_o you_o that_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v offend_v they_o shall_v thrust_v you_o out_o of_o their_o and_o feeble_a god_n give_v we_o the_o spirit_n of_o his_o son_n 2._o to_o move_v strengthen_v and_o preserve_v we_o in_o all_o goodness_n this_o spirit_n pour_v out_o love_n into_o our_o heart_n teacher_n we_o ought_v to_o have_v respect_n unto_o our_o fore-goer_n and_o finisher_n of_o our_o faith_n remember_v that_o we_o suffer_v not_o as_o thief_n and_o evil_a doer_n 4._o but_o for_o his_o sake_n yea_o and_o that_o of_o the_o wicked_a this_o shall_v make_v our_o adversity_n and_o cross_v the_o more_o easy_a and_o light_a when_o we_o feel_v the_o comfort_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o behold_v how_o shameful_a a_o death_n christ_n suffer_v for_o us._n therefore_o shall_v there_o no_o fear_n make_v we_o to_o shrink_v from_o the_o confession_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o truth_n we_o tri_v we_o through_o the_o cross_n stand_v behind_o the_o wall_n â—_o and_o look_v through_o the_o grate_n upon_o our_o conflict_n and_o battle_n yea_o help_v we_o to_o fight_v and_o to_o overcome_v therefore_o must_v we_o not_o always_o be_v child_n we_o must_v not_o hang_v still_o at_o the_o breast_n seek_v milk_n as_o child_n do_v 5._o but_o grow_v to_o a_o perfect_a age_n learn_v to_o know_v death_n throw_v behind_o we_o all_o thing_n in_o this_o world_n 1â—_n and_o lift_v up_o our_o eye_n and_o heart_n into_o heaven_n whence_o our_o help_n come_v and_o into_o the_o which_o christ_n be_v go_v to_o prepare_v for_o we_o a_o everlasting_a dwell_n and_o when_o the_o spirit_n be_v come_v he_o will_v rebuke_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o righteousness_n and_o of_o judgement_n of_o sin_n because_o they_o believe_v not_o on_o i_o of_o righteousness_n because_o i_o go_v to_o my_o father_n and_o you_o shall_v see_v i_o no_o more_o of_o judgement_n because_o the_o prince_n of_o we_o come_v to_o christ_n from_o this_o erronius_a way_n of_o unbelief_n all_o sin_n be_v forgive_v we_o through_o christ_n and_o not_o impute_v we_o to_o our_o damnation_n neither_o be_v it_o enough_o to_o know_v that_o we_o have_v err_v or_o do_v yet_o err_v but_o we_o must_v know_v also_o which_o be_v the_o right_a way_n wherein_o when_o error_n be_v forsake_v we_o must_v walk_v to_o attain_v unto_o godliness_n and_o bliss_n this_o right_a way_n 1._o do_v the_o spirit_n also_o show_v to_o be_v even_o christ_n who_o be_v our_o way_n our_o righteousness_n and_o goodness_n which_o way_n nevertheless_o the_o world_n will_v not_o go_v to_o believe_v in_o christ_n be_v the_o true_a way_n to_o attain_v unto_o righteousness_n and_o salvation_n who_o so_o now_o depart_v not_o from_o the_o erroneous_a way_n of_o unbelief_n and_o vice_n and_o will_v not_o walk_v in_o christ_n the_o way_n of_o all_o virtue_n and_o goodness_n which_o all_o the_o world_n alas_o so_o abhor_v the_o
