ungodly_a conversation_n and_o avoid_v as_o much_o as_o in_o you_o lie_v tavern_n and_o alehouse_n where_o so_o many_o wrong_a their_o own_o soul_n and_o body_n also_o and_o impoverish_v their_o family_n and_o waste_v the_o creature_n that_o in_o themselves_o be_v good_a which_o many_o may_v want_v great_o and_o although_o it_o be_v lawful_a to_o go_v to_o such_o public_a house_n upon_o just_a occasion_n or_o as_o necessity_n may_v require_v it_o yet_o for_o any_o to_o go_v for_o lust_n or_o fashion-sake_n and_o to_o sit_v long_o with_o they_o who_o injurious_o frequent_v such_o house_n that_o have_v be_v a_o snare_n to_o many_o young_a man_n and_o woman_n to_o their_o great_a hurt_n every_o way_n and_o be_v no_o good_a expedient_a for_o the_o age_a to_o spend_v their_o precious_a time_n unprofitable_o in_o tavern_n and_o alehouse_n or_o any_o other_o house_n where_o you_o may_v receive_v harm_n and_o bring_v reproach_n upon_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n among_o present_a world_n now_o as_o righteousness_n and_o true_a holiness_n lead_v such_o who_o be_v in_o it_o to_o be_v faithful_a in_o their_o testimony_n for_o god_n so_o unrighteousness_n do_v the_o contrary_a even_a cause_n many_o to_o how_o their_o knee_n to_o baal_n in_o something_o or_o other_o to_o worship_v the_o beast_n and_o receive_v his_o mark_n in_o something_o or_o other_o more_o or_o less_o which_o it_o may_v be_v such_o know_v that_o they_o ought_v not_o to_o fall_v under_o in_o or_o to_o give_v way_n unto_o and_o that_o will_v bring_v down_o judgement_n and_o wrath_n from_o god_n upon_o all_o the_o disobedient_a who_o be_v not_o just_a true_a and_o faithful_a in_o bear_v their_o testimony_n against_o war_n and_o fight_n with_o carnal_a weapon_n and_o against_o tithe_n and_o offering_n which_o god_n in_o the_o gospel-day_n put_v a_o end_n unto_o and_o require_v not_o and_o that_o which_o the_o testimony_n of_o truth_n in_o all_o the_o faithful_a in_o our_o day_n have_v clear_o go_v forth_o against_o from_o the_o beginning_n and_o god_n apparent_o have_v be_v with_o his_o people_n and_o bless_v we_o herein_o how_o any_o can_v slight_v go_v from_o or_o violate_v that_o and_o direct_o or_o indirect_o join_v with_o they_o or_o give_v strength_n to_o they_o that_o falsify_v their_o testimony_n make_v void_a as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v the_o great_a and_o hard_a suffering_n of_o many_o ancient_a friend_n former_o who_o love_v not_o their_o life_n to_o the_o death_n so_o that_o they_o may_v fight_v the_o good_a fight_n of_o faith_n and_o keep_v their_o testimony_n firm_a and_o constant_a for_o god_n to_o the_o end_n and_o feel_v the_o spirit_n of_o life_n from_o god_n to_o enter_v into_o you_o and_o possess_v all_o your_o heart_n that_o you_o may_v stand_v upon_o your_o foot_n and_o be_v arm_v with_o the_o armour_n of_o light_n and_o the_o shield_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o proceed_v out_o of_o the_o lamb_n mouth_n that_o faithful_a witness_n for_o he_o you_o may_v stand_v against_o all_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a and_o contrary_a to_o the_o truth_n and_o testimony_n thereof_o dear_a brethren_n and_o sister_n and_o all_o friend_n who_o be_v call_v of_o god_n to_o do_v service_n in_o your_o man_n and_o woman_n meeting_n that_o be_v of_o such_o great_a tendency_n for_o the_o welfare_n and_o peace_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n be_v diligent_a to_o keep_v up_o and_o preserve_v your_o monthly_a and_o quarterly_o meeting_n in_o the_o pure_a and_o peaceable_a wisdom_n of_o god_n all_o mind_v and_o follow_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v pure_a lovely_a and_o of_o good_a report_n which_o make_v for_o peace_n within_o your_o wall_n of_o salvation_n and_o strength_n from_o god_n dwell_v and_o stand_v up_o for_o god_n authority_n and_o that_o all_o your_o man_n &_o woman_n meeting_n therein_o may_v be_v keep_v all_o be_v diligent_a and_o faithful_a to_o god_n he_o will_v be_v your_o shield_n and_o exceed_v great_a reward_n your_o shield_n to_o defend_v you_o against_o all_o the_o opposition_n you_o may_v meet_v with_o &_o against_o the_o malice_n &_o rage_n of_o without_o partiality_n without_o hypocrisy_n and_o without_o dissimulation_n and_o keep_v your_o eye_n single_a to_o god_n in_o all_o whatever_o you_o do_v in_o word_n or_o deed_n that_o all_o may_v be_v do_v in_o the_o peaceable_a wisdom_n of_o truth_n and_o righteousness_n keep_v a_o equal_a hand_n of_o judgement_n and_o justice_n without_o respect_n to_o person_n in_o all_o matter_n and_o thing_n that_o may_v come_v before_o you_o for_o such_o as_o respect_v the_o rich_a person_n case_n more_o than_o the_o case_n of_o the_o poor_a may_v err_v in_o judgement_n and_o commit_v sin_n and_o the_o just_a equal_a and_o righteous_a law_n of_o god_n will_v take_v hold_n on_o such_o and_o judge_v they_o that_o be_v find_v respect_v and_o bear_v with_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o rich_a because_o out_o of_o all_o spiritual_a pride_n let_v it_o not_o have_v place_n in_o any_o of_o your_o heart_n and_o hide_v it_o not_o from_o your_o eye_n for_o god_n behold_v the_o proud_a afar_o off_o and_o will_v any_o of_o you_o have_v god_n to_o behold_v you_o afar_o off_o and_o such_o as_o god_n behold_v afar_o off_o be_v not_o near_o he_o for_o who_o be_v near_o he_o he_o do_v behold_v they_o so_o they_o be_v precious_a in_o his_o sight_n his_o eye_n be_v over_o they_o and_o he_o give_v they_o more_o grace_n but_o he_o resist_v the_o proud_a a_o high_a mind_n go_v before_o a_o fall_n and_o young_a man_n woman_n and_o child_n in_o your_o life_n and_o conversation_n wherever_o you_o come_v wear_v nothing_o neither_o speak_v or_o do_v any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o be_v grave_a and_o savoury_a become_v godliness_n which_o may_v reach_v to_o the_o good_a and_o that_o which_o be_v of_o god_n in_o all_o may_v own_o approve_v and_o justify_v you_o in_o the_o young_a look_n at_o you_o who_o be_v elder_a and_o when_o or_o wherein_o any_o of_o you_o take_v liberty_n to_o fashion_n yourselves_o like_o unto_o this_o world_n how_o can_v you_o expect_v but_o that_o the_o young_a man_n and_o woman_n and_o child_n will_v in_o that_o be_v apt_a to_o follow_v your_o example_n and_o when_o you_o speak_v rude_a unsavoury_a word_n may_v not_o you_o be_v ill_a instrument_n to_o corrupt_v the_o good_a manner_n of_o the_o young_a sort_n of_o people_n among_o we_o and_o when_o you_o that_o be_v elder_n do_v any_o thing_n against_o the_o pure_a truth_n of_o god_n and_o the_o young_a behold_v you_o may_v not_o that_o hurt_n and_o defile_v they_o and_o so_o you_o become_v minister_n of_o evil_a thing_n to_o the_o weak_a and_o young_a and_o grieve_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o they_o and_o also_o in_o yourselves_o which_o shall_v seal_v you_o to_o the_o day_n of_o redemption_n and_o will_v keep_v the_o crown_n of_o pride_n from_o you_o all_o if_o you_o will_v keep_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o be_v lead_v and_o guide_v by_o it_o for_o that_o never_o lead_v nor_o will_v ever_o lead_v any_o to_o speak_v do_v or_o wear_v any_o thing_n unbecoming_a the_o truth_n or_o godliness_n i_o know_v that_o by_o the_o worldly_a liberty_n which_o some_o elder_a man_n and_o woman_n among_o we_o have_v take_v in_o word_n deed_n and_o habit_n out_o of_o the_o truth_n and_o condemn_v by_o it_o they_o have_v but_o weaken_v themselves_o bring_v a_o veil_n over_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n in_o they_o and_o render_v themselves_o less_o useful_a to_o serve_v god_n and_o his_o precious_a truth_n in_o their_o generation_n and_o all_o evil_a word_n evil_a deed_n or_o evil_a fashion_n speak_v do_v or_o follow_v be_v a_o dis-service_n to_o the_o truth_n work_v against_o it_o cause_v a_o slight_a esteem_n of_o it_o and_o do_v tend_v to_o hinder_v the_o prosperity_n of_o it_o and_o therefore_o every_o one_o of_o you_o profess_v the_o truth_n keep_v out_o of_o that_o which_o work_v against_o it_o and_o bring_v dishonour_n to_o it_o what_o manner_n of_o person_n ought_v we_o to_o be_v in_o all_o holy_a conversation_n and_o godliness_n who_o know_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n to_o keep_v in_o his_o fear_n at_o all_o time_n to_o fear_v to_o offend_v he_o or_o grieve_v his_o holy_a spirit_n in_o word_n or_o action_n or_o by_o give_v any_o way_n to_o pride_n or_o highmindedness_a in_o any_o thing_n what_o we_o say_v or_o do_v and_o in_o our_o apparel_n man_n and_o woman_n especial_o the_o elder_a sort_n to_o be_v plain_a and_o modest_a and_o all_o to_o behave_v themselves_o in_o sobriety_n and_o moderation_n and_o you_o friend_n that_o be_v rich_a and_o have_v plenty_n of_o create_a comfort_n in_o this_o world_n let_v not_o your_o table_n become_v your_o snare_n nor_o that_o which_o be_v give_v you_o for_o your_o welfare_n become_v your_o trap_n and_o withhold_v any_o of_o you_o from_o god_n or_o your_o duty_n wherein_o you_o ought_v to_o be_v find_v constant_a to_o he_o but_o be_v wise_a and_o show_v forth_o christian_a moderation_n in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o all_o creature_n and_o keep_v out_o of_o that_o excess_n which_o the_o world_n and_o worldly_a professor_n take_v liberty_n in_o and_o sport_n themselves_o in_o the_o practice_n of_o in_o their_o eat_v and_o drink_v at_o marriage_n feast_n and_o other_o feast_n oh_o what_o â—luttening_v riot_v and_o wantonness_n be_v even_o many_o find_v in_o which_o sore_o displease_v the_o lord_n kindle_v his_o wrath_n and_o that_o which_o they_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v ashamed_a much_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n as_o may_v be_v other_o have_v let_v not_o the_o weakness_n of_o thy_o faith_n or_o want_v of_o that_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n that_o other_o may_v have_v at_o all_o discourage_v thou_o or_o raise_v any_o doubt_n reason_n or_o questioning_n in_o thy_o mind_n that_o god_n will_v not_o hear_v or_o regard_v thy_o prayer_n be_v in_o the_o least_o measure_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n offer_v to_o he_o for_o he_o will_v both_o hear_v and_o answer_v thy_o prayer_n that_o be_v in_o the_o live_a faith_n without_o doubt_n and_o reason_n of_o the_o flesh_n
