truth_n the_o natural_a man_n covet_v and_o delight_v to_o refresh_v himself_o in_o his_o grief_n and_o cross_n by_o music_n by_o merry_a company_n and_o by_o read_v profane_a book_n or_o hear_v pleasant_a conceit_a song_n or_o comedy_n which_o do_v not_o only_o not_o comfort_n but_o rather_o increase_v their_o grief_n contrary_o david_n protest_v that_o he_o seek_v and_o find_v the_o only_a true_a comfort_n in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n so_o do_v all_o that_o be_v true_o qualify_v in_o the_o rule_n of_o right_a religion_n though_o worldling_n account_v it_o a_o melancholic_a weariness_n repentance_n be_v the_o begin_n of_o their_o endless_a condemnation_n but_o the_o true_o wise_a indeed_o guide_v by_o grace_n have_v the_o time_n of_o their_o dissolution_n continual_o before_o their_o eye_n and_o in_o a_o holy_a meditation_n of_o death_n prepare_v themselves_o to_o die_v daily_o think_v every_o day_n they_o rise_v that_o that_o be_v the_o day_n of_o their_o dissolution_n and_o when_o they_o betake_v they_o to_o their_o nightly_a rest_n they_o recommend_v they_o to_o their_o bed_n as_o to_o their_o grave_n and_o persuade_v themselves_o that_o that_o night_n may_v be_v the_o dayspring_n of_o their_o spiritual_a and_o never_o end_a life_n such_o as_o thus_o prepare_v themselves_o have_v never_o any_o fear_n to_o die_v but_o in_o their_o heart_n wish_v to_o be_v dissolve_v and_o to_o be_v with_o christ_n and_o because_o that_o this_o holy_a preparation_n be_v not_o wrought_v neither_o can_v a_o man_n desire_n to_o leave_v and_o remove_v out_o of_o this_o earthly_a tabernacle_n by_o nature_n they_o can_v but_o natural_o fear_v to_o die_v and_o therefore_o when_o the_o messenger_n of_o death_n begin_v to_o summon_v man_n unprepared_a to_o their_o work_n sake_n we_o shall_v love_v all_o man_n and_o pray_v for_o all_o man_n how_o much_o more_o for_o they_o that_o lead_v we_o to_o the_o well_o of_o life_n the_o same_o saint_n paul_n will_v the_o ephesian_n not_o only_o to_o pray_v in_o a_o ordinary_a manner_n but_o in_o the_o spirit_n with_o perseverance_n and_o watchfulness_n even_o for_o he_o that_o utterance_n may_v be_v give_v unto_o he_o sanctity_n from_o satan_n to_o christ._n and_o therefore_o satan_n will_v ever_o oppose_v himself_o and_o instigate_v evil_a man_n to_o encounter_v scandalize_v and_o persecute_v such_o as_o be_v true_a and_o most_o painful_a labourer_n in_o god_n spiritual_a harvest_n whereby_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v oftentimes_o hinder_v the_o church_n of_o christ_n diminish_v ignorance_n increase_v religion_n despise_v vice_n advance_v faith_n decrease_v obedience_n to_o god_n neglect_v and_o truth_n among_o man_n mere_o abandon_v and_o contemn_v and_o all_o this_o where_o prophesy_v &_o preach_v fail_v god_n give_v not_o to_o man_n a_o more_o special_a blessing_n in_o earth_n than_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n which_o be_v as_o the_o net_n to_o
