apostle_n and_o few_o of_o the_o twelve_o apostle_n to_o wit_n only_o five_o have_v write_v any_o thing_n but_o of_o the_o other_o seven_o there_o be_v no_o writing_n extant_a but_o yet_o they_o all_o teach_v the_o apostle_n therefore_o speak_v of_o the_o apostolical_a doctrine_n and_o only_a of_o the_o scripture_n 14._o but_o neither_o do_v we_o deny_v that_o faith_n depend_v of_o the_o apostle_n doctrine_n yea_o more_o than_o that_o we_o say_v that_o our_o faith_n depend_v of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o present_a church_n for_o when_o we_o affirm_v that_o the_o church_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o our_o faith_n we_o 17._o ad_fw-la rom._n 10._o v._n 17._o do_v not_o understand_v by_o the_o church_n the_o shoulder_n or_o body_n of_o they_o who_o be_v in_o she_o but_o their_o authority_n doctrine_n and_o preach_v for_o by_o these_o thing_n faith_n be_v engender_v and_o as_o the_o apostle_n witness_v faith_n be_v by_o hear_v 15._o but_o whensoever_o we_o treat_v of_o the_o true_a pure_a word_n of_o god_n which_o keep_v and_o expound_v the_o scripture_n most_o faithful_o and_o which_o fit_o appli_v they_o in_o sermon_n &_o exhoâ—tations_n among_o we_o therefore_o all_o these_o word_n have_v one_o and_o the_o same_o signification_n the_o church_n the_o faith_n of_o the_o church_n the_o preach_v and_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n the_o word_n of_o god_n preach_v by_o the_o church_n and_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n propose_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o church_n and_o we_o understand_v all_o these_o thing_n by_o the_o name_n of_o the_o church_n when_o we_o say_v that_o she_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o our_o faith_n for_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v either_o property_n action_n or_o office_n of_o the_o church_n which_o can_v be_v separate_v from_o she_o 16._o wherefore_o our_o adversary_n do_v err_v exceed_o when_o they_o separate_v every_o one_o of_o these_o from_o the_o church_n and_o oppose_v or_o object_v it_o against_o she_o as_o though_o it_o be_v a_o quite_o distinct_a thing_n from_o she_o nay_o of_o the_o true_a church_n of_o christ_n they_o make_v she_o the_o synagogue_n of_o satan_n therefore_o the_o apostolical_a &_o prophetical_a doctrine_n must_v not_o be_v separate_v and_o make_v opposite_a unto_o the_o church_n as_o caluin_n do_v see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o essential_a part_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n caluin_n therefore_o dispute_v as_o if_o one_o shall_v make_v this_o argument_n a_o man_n without_o his_o soul_n neither_o see_v speak_v nor_o understand_v therefore_o a_o man_n neither_o see_v speak_v nor_o understand_v 17._o but_o peradventure_o some_o will_v say_v we_o have_v say_v a_o little_a before_o that_o faith_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o the_o church_n and_o now_o we_o say_v that_o the_o church_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o faith_n whereof_o the_o one_o seem_v to_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o other_o i_o answer_v that_o herein_o there_o be_v no_o contrariety_n for_o there_o be_v two_o kind_n of_o faith_n the_o one_o be_v the_o particular_a faith_n of_o every_o christian_a whereby_o together_o with_o hope_n and_o charity_n every_o one_o be_v justify_v the_o other_o be_v the_o general_a and_o common_a faith_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n the_o particular_a faith_n of_o each_o one_o rely_v upon_o the_o church_n to_o wit_n upon_o the_o faith_n preach_v and_o authority_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n but_o she_o herself_o rely_v upon_o the_o general_a faith_n and_o profession_n and_o preach_v thereof_o in_o the_o whole_a church_n which_o be_v a_o essential_a part_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n when_o therefore_o we_o say_v that_o the_o church_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o faith_n we_o speak_v of_o the_o particular_a faith_n of_o every_o christian_a but_o when_o we_o say_v that_o
