cheap_a rate_n without_o strictness_n and_o diligence_n whence_o be_v it_o that_o the_o great_a number_n fall_v short_a of_o salvation_n if_o the_o careless_a and_o sensual_a be_v in_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n who_o be_v the_o multitude_n in_o the_o visible_a church_n that_o christ_n tell_v we_o shall_v be_v send_v into_o the_o chain_n of_o darkness_n do_v not_o you_o tremble_v when_o you_o meet_v with_o such_o passage_n in_o the_o bible_n i_o be_o afraid_a sir_n you_o dare_v not_o serious_o study_v and_o meditate_v upon_o such_o scripture-truth_n lest_o they_o shall_v make_v your_o heart_n to_o ache_v and_o awaken_v you_o out_o of_o your_o golden_a dream_n 2._o though_o there_o be_v degree_n of_o grace_n and_o different_a measure_n of_o holiness_n in_o the_o saint_n and_o servant_n of_o god_n and_o many_o person_n that_o be_v save_v never_o attain_v to_o that_o stature_n and_o pitch_n of_o godliness_n in_o this_o life_n at_o which_o some_o have_v arrive_v yet_o there_o be_v such_o thing_n of_o absolute_a and_o indispensable_a necessity_n to_o salvation_n and_o to_o evidence_n that_o you_o be_v partaker_n of_o save_a grace_n in_o the_o small_a degree_n that_o will_v sufficient_o manifest_v that_o heaven_n be_v not_o to_o be_v get_v without_o much_o pain_n and_o diligence_n in_o the_o pursuance_n of_o it_o mat._n 11.12_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n suffer_v violence_n and_o the_o violent_a take_v it_o by_o force_n there_o be_v no_o get_n into_o that_o city_n except_o you_o storm_v it_o unless_o you_o vehement_o strive_v to_o lay_v hold_n upon_o it_o lazy_a wish_n and_o woulding_n will_v never_o bring_v you_o thither_o lukewarmness_n and_o slothfulness_n will_v certain_o fall_v short_a of_o it_o the_o bare_a external_a and_o superficial_a performance_n of_o some_o duty_n whilst_o in_o other_o thing_n you_o take_v liberty_n to_o indulg_v the_o flesh_n will_v undoubted_o leave_v you_o still_o in_o the_o state_n of_o damnation_n what_o ever_o fond_a conceit_n you_o may_v have_v of_o the_o contrary_n let_v we_o light_o pass_v over_o the_o mention_n of_o some_o particular_n
