efficacious_a application_n of_o the_o virtue_n of_o his_o death_n by_o give_v faith_n to_o the_o elect_a to_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o draw_v their_o heart_n towards_o he_o divis_n in_o the_o word_n we_o have_v these_o two_o thing_n 1._o the_o manner_n of_o our_o lord_n his_o death_n and_o i_o if_o i_o be_v lift_v up_o from_o the_o earth_n 2._o the_o virtue_n and_o efficacy_n of_o his_o death_n 〈◊〉_d here_o be_v take_v for_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d when_o as_o it_o be_v take_v also_o 1_o joh._n 3.2_o but_o we_o know_v that_o when_o he_o shall_v appear_v 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d for_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d as_o for_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o death_n if_o i_o be_v lift_v up_o from_o the_o earth_n there_o be_v a_o twofold_a lift_v up_o of_o christ_n one_o from_o the_o disobedience_n the_o day_n thou_o eat_v thou_o shall_v die_v therefore_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n of_o satisfaction_n to_o divine_a truth_n and_o justice_n by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n the_o mediator_n and_o surety_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n which_o be_v make_v in_o he_o gal._n 3.16_o and_o ratify_v by_o he_o heb._n 7.22_o 2._o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n decree_n to_o send_v his_o son_n that_o he_o may_v make_v satisfaction_n to_o divine_a justice_n in_o our_o nature_n therefore_o it_o be_v say_v by_o our_o lord_n joh._n 17.6_o thou_o they_o be_v and_o thou_o give_v they_o to_o i_o they_o be_v the_o father_n by_o election_n and_o give_v to_o the_o son_n that_o he_o may_v satisfy_v for_o they_o reconcile_v they_o and_o in_o end_n bring_v they_o to_o the_o salvation_n appoint_v for_o they_o as_o a_o king_n resolve_v to_o release_v and_o give_v liberty_n to_o so_o many_o rebel_n prisoner_n give_v they_o over_o to_o his_o son_n that_o he_o may_v pay_v their_o ransom_n and_o so_o obtain_v their_o liberty_n according_a to_o the_o father_n decree_n for_o this_o cause_n our_o bless_a lord_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o decree_n of_o the_o father_n to_o send_v he_o into_o the_o world_n that_o he_o may_v die_v and_o save_v his_o elect_a be_v call_v the_o lamb_n fore-ordained_n
