of_o the_o understanding_n experience_n and_o work_n of_o truth_n and_o so_o certain_a it_o be_v that_o he_o which_o do_v not_o exercise_v charity_n howsoever_o he_o make_v many_o word_n of_o it_o yet_o he_o perceive_v not_o the_o perfect_a nature_n of_o it_o in_o like_a manner_n christ_n be_v mere_a love_n humility_z meekness_n patience_n and_o virtue_n the_o which_o who_o have_v not_o be_v ignorant_a of_o christ_n although_o he_o can_v prattle_v many_o thing_n of_o he_o and_o usurp_v his_o name_n after_o the_o same_o manner_n the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v nothing_o but_o spirit_n pleasure_n when_o christ_n jesus_n lead_v his_o life_n among_o sorrow_n and_o tribulation_n even_o to_o his_o death_n and_o if_o a_o soldier_n do_v forget_v his_o own_o proper_a recreation_n when_o he_o see_v his_o captain_n by_o fight_v valiant_o receive_v his_o death_n and_o thou_o get_v honour_n before_o thy_o captain_n eye_n use_v most_o contemptuous_o shall_v i_o not_o say_v that_o thou_o do_v not_o fight_v under_o his_o banner_n but_o alas_o we_o will_v be_v account_v christian_n christ_n many_o christian_n but_o few_o follower_n of_o christ_n but_o how_o few_o be_v there_o that_o imitate_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n true_o if_o it_o be_v the_o part_n of_o christian_n to_o be_v seeker_n after_o wealth_n perish_v fame_n and_o honour_n christ_n will_v never_o have_v command_v the_o loss_n of_o they_o for_o eternal_a good_a behold_v with_o i_o his_o life_n and_o doctrine_n and_o thou_o shall_v not_o deny_v that_o nothing_o be_v more_o unlike_a than_o the_o world_n and_o he_o that_o manger_n that_o stable_n those_o swaddle_a clothes_n be_v not_o those_o a_o spectacle_n or_o lookingglass_n of_o the_o contempt_n of_o these_o worldly_a thing_n or_o let_v we_o perhaps_o say_v that_o thou_o will_v by_o these_o example_n draw_v thyself_o from_o the_o true_a and_o right_a way_n nay_o rather_o it_o be_v mean_n to_o bring_v thou_o into_o the_o right_a way_n when_o we_o shall_v compare_v his_o doctrine_n and_o way_n together_o with_o his_o example_n whereupon_o he_o say_v and_o proclaim_v that_o he_o be_v the_o way_n and_o the_o truth_n therefore_o when_o they_o by_o contempt_n misery_n and_o reproach_n do_v attempt_n to_o make_v the_o way_n to_o attain_v to_o heaven_n it_o follow_v that_o thou_o that_o seek_v after_o jollity_n and_o wealth_n and_o thirste_a after_n promotion_n be_v in_o a_o ready_a way_n to_o hell_n return_v thou_o and_o come_v out_o of_o that_o broad_a highway_n and_o come_v again_o into_o this_o way_n that_o can_v stray_v and_o embrace_v the_o truth_n that_o can_v deceive_v and_o last_o live_v in_o he_o
