preservation_n of_o the_o church_n can_v be_v secure_v but_o upon_o these_o two_o supposition_n first_o that_o provision_n be_v make_v for_o the_o due_a and_o orderly_a performance_n of_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n second_o that_o there_o be_v mean_n of_o maintain_v peace_n and_o unity_n among_o its_o member_n this_o latter_a be_v necessary_a to_o the_o welfare_n and_o preservation_n of_o a_o church_n as_o a_o society_n the_o former_a be_v necessary_a to_o it_o as_o a_o religious_a society_n now_o than_o this_o be_v admit_v it_o follow_v in_o the_o general_n that_o whatever_o power_n over_o her_o subject_n be_v necessary_a in_o order_n to_o either_o of_o these_o thing_n all_o that_o at_o least_o must_v be_v suppose_v to_o be_v lodge_v in_o the_o church_n that_o be_v to_o say_v in_o those_o that_o have_v the_o govenment_n of_o it_o so_o that_o from_o hence_o it_o be_v plain_a in_o the_o first_o place_n that_o the_o church_n have_v power_n so_o far_o to_o restrain_v the_o exercise_n of_o her_o subject_n liberty_n as_o to_o oblige_v they_o to_o all_o such_o law_n rule_n order_n and_o ceremony_n as_o she_o shall_v establish_v for_o the_o more_o solemn_a regular_a decent_a and_o convenient_a administration_n of_o religious_a affair_n and_o if_o it_o be_v question_v whether_o her_o appointment_n do_v indeed_o conduce_v to_o that_o end_n of_o that_o she_o opinion_n so_o long_o as_o we_o keep_v they_o to_o ourselves_o can_v possible_o cause_v any_o disturbance_n in_o or_o do_v any_o injury_n to_o society_n but_o a_o power_n in_o the_o latter_a sense_n be_v absolute_o necessary_a for_o if_o man_n may_v be_v allow_v to_o vent_v and_o publish_v whatever_o fancy_n come_v into_o their_o head_n and_o the_o church_n have_v no_o authority_n to_o impose_v silence_n upon_o they_o it_o can_v be_v avoid_v but_o she_o will_v be_v overrun_v with_o heresy_n and_o embroil_v in_o insinite_a quarrel_n and_o controversy_n to_o the_o destruction_n of_o her_o true_a that_o error_n in_o a_o church_n as_o to_o matter_n of_o doctrine_n or_o corruption_n as_o to_o matter_n of_o practice_n so_o long_o as_o those_o error_n and_o corruption_n be_v only_o suffer_v but_o not_o impose_v can_v be_v a_o sufficient_a cause_n of_o separation_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o sin_n in_o we_o so_o long_o as_o we_o do_v not_o join_v with_o the_o church_n in_o they_o so_o that_o so_o long_o as_o we_o can_v communicate_v with_o a_o church_n without_o either_o profess_v her_o error_n or_o partake_v in_o her_o sinful_a practice_n as_o in_o the_o present_a case_n it_o be_v suppose_v we_o may_v do_v so_o long_o we_o be_v bind_v upon_o the_o principle_n before_o lay_v down_o not_o to_o separate_v from_o she_o neither_o in_o the_o three_o and_o last_o place_n be_v the_o enjoy_n a_o more_o profitable_a ministry_n or_o live_v under_o a_o more_o pure_a discipline_n in_o a_o separate_a congregation_n a_o just_a cause_n of_o forsake_v the_o communion_n of_o the_o church_n of_o which_o we_o be_v member_n and_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o we_o be_v not_o to_o commit_v a_o sin_n for_o the_o promote_a a_o good_a end_n now_o as_o we_o
