not_o accept_v with_o god_n and_o the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_n which_o bear_v a_o appearance_n of_o what_o they_o be_v not_o in_o reality_n and_o truth_n and_o be_v not_o able_a to_o help_v those_o that_o trust_v in_o they_o be_v for_o this_o reason_n call_v there_o vanity_n this_o then_o be_v the_o import_n and_o mean_v of_o these_o word_n speak_v by_o solomon_n a_o course_n of_o wickedness_n be_v very_o false_a and_o deceitful_a it_o promise_v man_n much_o perhaps_o but_o perform_v little_a and_o he_o who_o expect_v any_o real_a advantage_n any_o true_a content_a and_o happiness_n in_o such_o a_o course_n shall_v be_v miserable_o disappoint_v i_o think_v it_o not_o unnecessary_a to_o insist_v upon_o the_o proof_n of_o this_o truth_n for_o it_o be_v what_o the_o world_n be_v not_o easy_o convince_v of_o though_o we_o may_v see_v it_o verify_v in_o the_o experience_n of_o other_o man_n very_o often_o yet_o we_o will_v not_o impute_v their_o ill_a success_n and_o unhappiness_n to_o the_o desert_n and_o nature_n of_o the_o course_n they_o choose_v but_o we_o impute_v they_o rather_o to_o some_o indiscretion_n and_o folly_n of_o those_o man_n in_o the_o management_n of_o themselves_o which_o we_o purpose_v to_o avoid_v and_o so_o we_o hope_v to_o reap_v those_o advantage_n from_o the_o same_o course_n of_o life_n which_o we_o see_v other_o can_v yea_o further_o it_o be_v very_o common_a that_o man_n be_v not_o convince_v of_o this_o truth_n though_o their_o own_o experience_n may_v inform_v they_o though_o they_o have_v find_v a_o emptiness_n and_o vanity_n in_o a_o wicked_a and_o careless_a life_n so_o far_o as_o they_o have_v try_v it_o yet_o they_o will_v be_v so_o foolish_a as_o to_o hope_v still_o for_o what_o they_o can_v never_o obtain_v they_o will_v think_v there_o be_v some_o content_a and_o satisfaction_n beyond_o they_o and_o on_o they_o go_v in_o this_o wrong_a
bear_v so_o ungrateful_a a_o burden_n and_o when_o it_o be_v add_v in_o the_o four_o verse_n of_o that_o chapter_n they_o have_v forsake_v the_o lord_n it_o be_v also_o say_v they_o have_v provoke_v haunt_v and_o follow_v they_o every_o where_o mortal_a danger_n surround_v and_o attend_v they_o constant_o vengeance_n watch_v over_o they_o continual_o when_o we_o be_v tell_v that_o indignation_n and_o wrath_n tribulation_n and_o anguish_n shall_v be_v upon_o every_o soul_n that_o do_v evil_a as_o in_o rom._n 2._o 9_o we_o see_v reason_n to_o believe_v these_o thing_n and_o to_o conclude_v
