the_o sense_n of_o many_o obscure_a place_n of_o scripture_n about_o which_o they_o say_v there_o be_v a_o necessity_n of_o a_o infallible_a judge_n and_o for_o miracle_n they_o tell_v we_o that_o there_o be_v no_o certain_a way_n of_o judge_v true_a and_o false_a but_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o church_n now_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o what_o ground_n can_v the_o first_o christian_n have_v to_o believe_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o true_a messiah_n when_o in_o both_o these_o they_o must_v oppose_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o present_a church_n 3._o they_o can_v never_o prove_v that_o the_o same_o cause_n of_o corruption_n do_v not_o hold_v as_o to_o the_o christian_a which_o do_v as_o to_o the_o jewish_a church_n for_o the_o christian_a church_n in_o those_o age_n only_o for_o the_o priest_n and_o ruler_n but_o for_o direction_n to_o the_o people_n that_o they_o may_v be_v able_a to_o judge_v of_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o they_o otherwise_o when_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o jewish_a church_n condemn_v our_o saviour_n the_o people_n can_v have_v no_o reason_n to_o believe_v he_o to_o be_v the_o messiah_n if_o they_o be_v bind_v in_o the_o sense_n of_o scripture_n to_o submit_v their_o judgement_n whole_o to_o the_o church_n authority_n it_o be_v plain_a then_o that_o the_o sense_n of_o scripture_n may_v be_v so_o evident_a to_o private_a capacity_n that_o they_o be_v not_o to_o submit_v in_o it_o to_o the_o present_a authority_n of_o a_o church_n for_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o promise_v make_v to_o the_o jewish_a church_n and_o the_o command_n of_o submit_v to_o the_o sentence_n of_o their_o priest_n and_o ruler_n in_o a_o matter_n of_o the_o high_a concernment_n viz._n concern_v the_o true_a messiah_n man_n be_v bind_v to_o believe_v direct_o contrary_a to_o the_o present_a authority_n in_o the_o church_n for_o the_o people_n be_v bind_v to_o believe_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o true_a messiah_n although_o the_o high_a to_o their_o authority_n viz._n in_o believe_v the_o right_a hand_n to_o be_v the_o left_a or_o the_o left_a to_o be_v the_o right_n if_o they_o determine_v so_o or_o suppose_v the_o jew_n to_o have_v require_v the_o people_n to_o deny_v that_o they_o ever_o see_v any_o miracle_n wrought_v by_o christ_n or_o in_o the_o miracle_n of_o the_o loaf_n that_o what_o they_o see_v and_o handle_v and_o all_o those_o passion_n which_o man_n be_v subject_a to_o in_o their_o own_o case_n which_o will_v be_v notorious_o evident_a in_o the_o case_n before_o we_o between_o the_o high_a priest_n and_o
