church-account_n constitute_v according_a to_o the_o gospel-rule_n i_o do_v not_o yet_o understand_v how_o there_o can_v be_v a_o walking-togeth_a in_o church-worship_n without_o a_o unity_n in_o that_o worship_n and_o in_o the_o one_o sort_n of_o member_n that_o be_v to_o be_v exercise_v therein_o without_o which_o i_o see_v no_o way_n for_o the_o church_n to_o be_v either_o constitute_v or_o preserve_v according_a to_o the_o gospel-law_n and_o order_n yet_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o great_a heedfulness_n of_o unchristian_v each_o other_o unless_o person_n unchristian_a themselves_o by_o profaneness_n nor_o to_o account_v each_o other_o as_o enemy_n but_o converse_v together_o and_o love_n as_o brethren_n for_o i_o true_o desire_v that_o among_o all_o the_o differing-apprehension_n all_o that_o hold_v to_o the_o head_n christ_n jesus_n and_o that_o call_v on_o his_o name_n may_v study_v the_o thing_n that_o make_v for_o peace_n forsake_v the_o quarrel_a opposing-spirit_n which_o best_o become_v the_o gospel_n and_o spirit_n of_o christianity_n these_o thing_n have_v i_o write_v to_o discover_v the_o weakness_n of_o the_o ground_n on_o which_o christian_n common_o make_v division_n that_o they_o may_v see_v the_o weakness_n and_o that_o there_o be_v not_o so_o much_o in_o the_o matter_n as_o they_o suppose_v and_o be_o willing_a to_o conclude_v that_o if_o christian_n be_v not_o too_o much_o wed_v to_o their_o own_o understanding_n it_o may_v prove_v of_o some_o help_n in_o the_o matter_n and_o that_o all_o sort_n of_o differing-apprehension_n may_v learn_v to_o bear_v with_o and_o forbear_v each_o other_o in_o love_n and_o till_o they_o can_v come_v to_o be_v of_o one_o mind_n from_o sense_n of_o weakness_n and_o fallibility_n to_o pity_v one_o another_o and_o to_o seek_v the_o peace_n and_o welfare_n of_o one_o another_o this_o be_v the_o lovely-spirit_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o people_n who_o thus_o walk_v be_v a_o lovely_a people_n and_o the_o people_n who_o thus_o walk_v god_n will_v bless_v but_o if_o christian_n will_v still_o go_v on_o to_o bite_v and_o devour_v each_o other_o what_o can_v they_o expect_v but_o to_o be_v devour_v one_o of_o another_o and_o that_o as_o a_o righteous_a judgement_n from_o god_n who_o be_v the_o god_n of_o peace_n and_o will_v have_v his_o people_n to_o be_v the_o people_n of_o peace_n therefore_o baptize_v with_o water_n but_o with_o the_o spirit_n in_o order_n to_o fit_v they_o for_o affliction_n act._n 6._o 3._o eph._n 4._o 8_o 11_o 12._o and_o if_o it_o can_v be_v prove_v that_o believer_n order_n to_o it_o for_o the_o form_n add_v nothing_o without_o the_o power_n especial_o in_o this_o case_n where_o the_o formal_a act_n be_v use_v only_o in_o way_n of_o power_n and_o for_o person_n to_o lay_v on_o hand_n to_o such_o a_o end_n who_o have_v not_o the_o gift_n themselves_o seem_v altogether_o scriptureless_a and_o reasonless_a and_o what_o be_v say_v in_o this_o matter_n of_o the_o judgement_n of_o author_n both_o ancient_a and_o modern_a prove_v nothing_o it_o be_v know_v that_o the_o apostasy_n be_v enter_v timely_a into_o the_o church_n and_o have_v make_v so_o great_a a_o alteration_n and_o change_v from_o the_o primitive_a rule_n and_o power_n that_o although_o there_o be_v something_o like_o the_o truth_n yet_o the_o true_a form_n and_o power_n of_o truth_n be_v lose_v the_o lord_n help_v his_o people_n that_o in_o their_o come_n out_o they_o bring_v away_o none_o of_o babylon_n device_n with_o they_o which_o i_o great_o fear_v they_o be_v too_o much_o incline_v unto_o but_o to_o conclude_v this_o matter_n from_o all_o these_o consideration_n i_o must_v say_v that_o i_o dare_v not_o meddle_v with_o this_o have_v no_o authority_n from_o the_o lord_n for_o it_o i_o can_v do_v it_o in_o his_o name_n without_o his_o authority_n lest_o my_o act_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o kind_n as_o those_o act._n 19_o 13_o to_o 16._o these_o thing_n have_v i_o for_o gospel_n rest_v and_o worship_n and_o hence_o make_v a_o breach_n and_o separation_n from_o all_o that_o be_v not_o of_o their_o opinion_n in_o this_o matter_n and_o in_o what_o i_o shall_v offer_v to_o consideration_n in_o this_o case_n i_o shall_v not_o meddle_v to_o answer_v any_o man_n particular_a ground_n for_o it_o because_o it_o be_v not_o controversy_n i_o design_v but_o healing_n i_o shall_v to_o this_o end_n present_v some_o weighty_a consideration_n about_o this_o matter_n which_o if_o well_o weigh_v may_v if_o not_o answer_v all_o moderate_v the_o spirit_n of_o those_o who_o be_v so_o high_a in_o prosecution_n thereof_o and_o caution_n other_o of_o be_v too_o forward_o in_o rush_v thereinto_o which_o be_v my_o only_a design_n in_o write_v this._n first_o
