for_o if_o man_n offer_v themselves_o to_o god_n and_o suffer_v he_o to_o govern_v they_o he_o will_v stretch_v out_o his_o hand_n to_o maintain_v they_o in_o their_o state_n he_o will_v always_o uphold_v they_o by_o his_o power_n and_o he_o will_v be_v a_o shield_n and_o defence_n to_o they_o against_o all_o evil_a adventure_n but_o if_o man_n will_v needs_o fly_v too_o high_a god_n must_v needs_o stop_v they_o so_o then_o must_v not_o every_o of_o we_o needs_o crouch_v when_o we_o see_v that_o god_n smite_v whole_a nation_n after_o that_o sort_n but_o first_o of_o all_o it_o stand_v we_o in_o hand_n to_o be_v thorough_o persuade_v of_o that_o which_o be_v contain_v here_o for_o how_o shall_v we_o else_o take_v instruction_n by_o that_o which_o i_o have_v lay_v forth_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o when_o the_o lord_n shall_v have_v multiply_v a_o people_n he_o can_v well_o diminish_v they_o again_o to_o less_o than_o nothing_o and_o when_o there_o happen_v any_o great_a alteration_n in_o a_o realm_n let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o the_o same_o come_v not_o to_o pass_v by_o hap_n hazard_n but_o that_o god_n be_v the_o worker_n of_o it_o therefore_o we_o see_v those_o die_n for_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n which_o have_v labour_v sore_o and_o in_o the_o mean_a while_n other_o man_n rob_v they_o of_o their_o good_n it_o be_v easy_a for_o god_n too_o he_o speak_v here_o of_o cry_v then_o it_o be_v say_v that_o man_n cry_v and_o wherefore_o because_o they_o be_v wrongful_o vex_v and_o yet_o god_n have_v no_o regard_n of_o their_o complaint_n see_v what_o the_o popish_a church_n be_v for_o they_o have_v pomp_n enough_o and_o we_o see_v also_o that_o they_o dare_v as_o it_o be_v face_n god_n with_o a_o devilish_a pride_n and_o strain_v no_o courtesy_n at_o all_o in_o attribute_v these_o brave_a title_n to_o themselves_o that_o they_o have_v the_o holy_a government_n of_o heaven_n amongst_o they_o and_o the_o assuredness_n of_o god_n truth_n and_o doctrine_n and_o that_o they_o carry_v the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o their_o sleeve_n and_o hold_v god_n lock_v up_o between_o their_o wall_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o what_o manner_n of_o knowledge_n be_v it_o that_o they_o have_v clean_o contrariwise_o we_o see_v that_o they_o seek_v nothing_o but_o to_o make_v the_o wretched_a world_n brutish_a and_o so_o we_o may_v well_o conclude_v that_o all_o the_o building_n of_o god_n church_n be_v overthrow_v by_o they_o and_o put_v to_o horrible_a confusion_n and_o why_o for_o they_o want_v the_o wisdom_n which_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n avouch_v to_o be_v the_o welfare_n strength_n and_o establishment_n of_o the_o church_n thus_o much_o concern_v the_o first_o point_n but_o to_o fit_v the_o

the_o thing_n that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n allege_v when_o he_o will_v have_v we_o to_o receive_v his_o say_n i_o seek_v not_o my_o own_o glory_n say_v he_o but_o the_o glory_n of_o he_o that_o send_v i_o therefore_o it_o behove_v we_o always_o too_o search_v to_o what_o end_n the_o man_n tend_v that_o speak_v unto_o we_o for_o if_o we_o see_v that_o the_o mark_n which_o he_o shoot_v at_o be_v that_o god_n shall_v be_v glorify_v and_o reign_v over_o all_o man_n there_o must_v be_v no_o more_o dispute_v against_o he_o but_o we_o must_v rest_v full_o there_o but_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n if_o his_o doctrine_n tend_v to_o the_o deface_v of_o god_n glory_n too_o the_o turn_n of_o we_o from_o his_o service_n or_o too_o the_o advance_n of_o ambition_n and_o vanity_n so_o as_o it_o build_v we_o not_o up_o to_o be_v the_o true_a temple_n of_o god_n or_o if_o it_o ground_n we_o not_o upon_o god_n too_o remit_v ourselves_o whole_o unto_o he_o too_o call_v upon_o he_o pure_o and_o to_o rest_v ourselves_o upon_o his_o grace_n and_o fatherly_a goodness_n then_o do_v we_o see_v that_o there_o be_v no_o rightness_n in_o it_o true_a it_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v fore_o cumber_v in_o that_o case_n if_o god_n have_v not_o first_o of_o all_o show_v we_o what_o manner_n of_o one_o this_o rightness_n be_v but_o if_o we_o have_v once_o the_o principle_n that_o he_o note_v of_o all_o man_n for_o if_o we_o can_v bear_v well_o in_o mind_n that_o which_o be_v show_v here_o undoubted_o all_o pride_n will_v be_v bury_v in_o we_o for_o what_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o man_n do_v glory_n so_o much_o in_o themselves_o and_o be_v so_o full_a of_o overween_a but_o first_o for_o that_o they_o know_v not_o their_o own_o original_a beginning_n and_o second_o for_o that_o
