apostolical_a and_o primitive_a practice_n and_o be_v far_o more_o useful_a than_o such_o preach_v as_o we_o have_v now_o adays_o and_o i_o be_o also_o sure_a that_o in_o the_o pure_a and_o most_o primitive_a time_n homily_n under_o another_o name_n be_v read_v in_o the_o church_n that_o be_v the_o epistle_n of_o apostolic_a godly_a bishop_n write_v to_o other_o church_n be_v read_v in_o the_o congregation_n with_o great_a veneration_n shall_v the_o name_n of_o epistle_n make_v the_o one_o applaud_v the_o name_n of_o homily_n make_v the_o other_o reproach_v the_o content_n and_o the_o intent_n be_v the_o same_o to_o stir_v up_o the_o people_n to_o godliness_n if_o this_o will_v satisfy_v let_v the_o homily_n be_v style_v epistle_n to_o such_o or_o such_o a_o church_n and_o then_o i_o hope_v they_o will_v pass_v for_o current_n but_o you_o will_v say_v the_o compiler_n of_o our_o homily_n be_v not_o of_o equal_a authority_n to_o those_o primitive_a epistler_n let_v that_o pass_n but_o i_o be_o sure_a they_o be_v of_o far_o more_o authority_n than_o most_o of_o our_o preacher_n i_o pray_v consider_v how_o many_o giddy_a youth_n be_v of_o our_o ministry_n how_o many_o of_o great_a age_n but_o of_o as_o little_a gravity_n or_o discretion_n how_o many_o that_o vain_o preach_v themselves_o and_o their_o own_o ability_n not_o christ_n and_o his_o gospel_n how_o many_o that_o preach_v pious_o and_o yet_o not_o useful_o but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o many_o thing_n unnecessary_a omit_v many_o necessary_a sum_v up_o all_o these_o
