be_v unlawful_a for_o all_o man_n and_o at_o all_o time_n for_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n in_o regard_n of_o their_o holy_a function_n the_o scripture_n teach_v we_o that_o every_o soul_n overshadow_a and_o droup_v the_o whole_a earth_n the_o lord_n according_a to_o his_o ancient_a promise_n give_v gift_n unto_o man_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o former_a great_a want_n of_o they_o very_a extraordinaries_n these_o gift_n i_o say_v he_o give_v at_o the_o first_o break_v forth_o of_o our_o religion_n through_o popery_n to_o the_o first_o preacher_n of_o our_o religion_n for_o the_o commend_v thereof_o unto_o the_o world_n and_o so_o increase_v they_o afterward_o more_o and_o more_o in_o those_o that_o embrace_v our_o religion_n but_o after_o that_o by_o such_o gift_n he_o have_v our_o religion_n have_v as_o when_o it_o be_v naked_a and_o have_v almost_o none_o at_o all_o therefore_o to_o conclude_v this_o part_n also_o of_o this_o my_o last_o argument_n touch_v the_o performance_n of_o those_o promise_n of_o god_n to_o the_o church_n that_o be_v never_o in_o such_o manner_n perform_v to_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n as_o the_o more_o the_o dark_a cloud_n of_o religion_n have_v come_v about_o towards_o the_o summer_n point_n and_o by_o the_o strength_n and_o power_n thereof_o have_v scatter_v and_o disperse_v these_o cloud_n and_o pacify_v those_o boisterous_a wind_n of_o popery_n in_o many_o kingdom_n the_o more_o have_v those_o gift_n of_o god_n his_o spirit_n before_o promise_v bud_a and_o flourish_v even_o as_o we_o see_v after_o a_o hard_a winter_n the_o more_o the_o sun_n come_v about_o towards_o cancer_n the_o more_o all_o tree_n and_o herb_n before_o sear_n and_o dead_a do_v revive_v and_o spring_v out_o i_o conclude_v therefore_o that_o as_o by_o the_o spring_a and_o flourish_v of_o herb_n and_o other_o plant_n we_o know_v summer_n to_o be_v come_v so_o also_o by_o these_o gift_n of_o god_n his_o spirit_n which_o have_v spring_v and_o flourish_v even_o since_o that_o our_o religion_n have_v be_v reviue_v &_o again_o quicken_v we_o know_v the_o same_o gospel_n to_o be_v again_o return_v about_o the_o which_o in_o former_a time_n god_n according_a to_o the_o righteousness_n of_o his_o promise_n do_v beautify_v and_o commend_v with_o the_o like_a grace_n 5_o will_v any_o papist_n now_o object_v the_o time_n of_o tertullian_n gregory_n nazianzen_n cyprian_n chrysostome_n ambrose_n jerome_n augustine_n barnard_n and_o such_o like_a let_v he_o first_o remember_v that_o most_o of_o they_o be_v before_o the_o time_n whereof_o we_o speak_v they_o be_v i_o say_v before_o any_o stone_n almost_o lay_v of_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n in_o that_o state_n wherein_o now_o it_o be_v all_o of_o they_o also_o live_v before_o that_o church_n be_v build_v to_o that_o perfection_n whereunto_o it_o be_v rear_v until_o the_o repair_n of_o our_o religion_n again_o these_o ancient_a father_n so_o many_o of_o they_o as_o do_v see_v the_o build_n of_o this_o church_n begin_v or_o any_o matter_n prepare_v â—owards_n the_o same_o labour_v by_o might_n &_o main_a as_o we_o speak_v and_o to_o and_o many_o other_o the_o like_a principle_n of_o popery_n as_o be_v plentiful_o show_v by_o our_o late_a writer_n in_o particular_a controversy_n especial_o both_o they_o and_o also_o many_o other_o yea_o some_o of_o the_o papist_n themselves_z and_o of_o the_o learn_a of_o they_o have_v might_o declaim_v and_o sharp_o invay_v against_o all_o â—uch_n proud_a and_o arrogant_a title_n as_o now_o the_o pope_n claim_v and_o usurp_v further_o although_o these_o â—ere_z excellent_a person_n for_o learning_n and_o godliness_n and_o worthy_a of_o honourable_a remembrance_n â—â—_o all_o age_n yet_o live_v they_o not_o altogether_o nay_o â—â—ther_n one_o age_n have_v almost_o but_o one_o such_o or_o at_o the_o â—ast_n but_o very_o few_o such_o as_o these_o be_v that_o i_o â—â—ue_v name_v but_o
