fit_o qualify_v or_o no_o as_o it_o be_v not_o demonstrable_a in_o the_o cause_n so_o be_v it_o to_o be_v look_v on_o as_o a_o politic_a problem_n the_o truth_n of_o which_o belong_v to_o prudent_a person_n and_o and_o such_o as_o be_v by_o god_n entrust_v with_o the_o flock_n to_o judge_v of_o i._n e._n to_o the_o prince_n the_o nurse_n father_n of_o every_o church_n who_o be_v prudential_o and_o fatherly_a to_o determine_v for_o themselves_o and_o those_o that_o be_v under_o they_o what_o be_v most_o ordinable_a to_o that_o end_n and_o can_v be_v oblige_v to_o conclude_v far_o than_o as_o heretical_a by_o depart_v from_o the_o faith_n this_o must_v be_v contest_v by_o a_o strict_a survey_n of_o the_o particular_a doctrine_n wherein_o as_o we_o make_v no_o doubt_n to_o approve_v ourselves_o to_o any_o that_o will_v judge_v of_o the_o apostolical_a doctrine_n and_o tradition_n by_o the_o scripture_n and_o consent_n of_o the_o first_o 300_o year_n or_o the_o four_o general_a counsel_n the_o church_n of_o england_n temper_n in_o respect_n of_o particular_a doctrine_n the_o most_o competent_a witness_n of_o apostolical_a tradition_n so_o we_o shall_v secure_v ourselves_o of_o our_o innocence_n in_o this_o behalf_n by_o that_o principle_n acknowledge_v in_o our_o church_n and_o own_a as_o the_o rule_n by_o which_o we_o be_v conclude_v in_o any_o debate_n or_o controversy_n that_o whatever_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o doctrine_n or_o practice_n of_o those_o first_o and_o pure_a age_n shall_v by_o we_o assoon_o as_o it_o thus_o appear_v be_v renounce_v and_o disclaim_v also_o which_o resolution_n of_o rulinesse_n and_o obedience_n will_n i_o suppose_v conserve_v we_o in_o the_o unity_n of_o the_o faith_n and_o render_v we_o approvable_a to_o god_n though_o our_o ignorance_n thus_o unaffected_a shall_v betray_v we_o to_o some_o misunderstanding_n of_o those_o first_o time_n and_o be_v a_o instrument_n much_o more_o probable_a to_o lead_v we_o into_o all_o truth_n than_o the_o suppose_a infallibility_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n can_v be_v imagine_v to_o be_v which_o as_o it_o leave_v the_o proud_a presumer_n real_o as_o liable_a to_o error_n as_o he_o that_o acknowledge_v himself_o most_o fallible_a so_o it_o ascertain_v he_o to_o persevere_v incorrigible_a whether_o in_o the_o least_o or_o great_a error_n which_o by_o fault_n or_o frailty_n he_o shall_v be_v guilty_a of_o §_o 8._o this_o consideration_n of_o the_o humble_a docible_a temper_n of_o our_o church_n together_o with_o our_o profess_a appeal_n to_o those_o first_o and_o pure_a time_n to_o stand_v or_o fall_v as_o by_o those_o evidence_n we_o shall_v be_v adjudge_v as_o it_o necessary_o render_v it_o our_o infelicity_n not_o our_o crime_n if_o in_o judge_v of_o christ_n truth_n we_o shall_v be_v deem_v to_o err_v so_o may_v it_o reasonable_o supersede_n that_o large_a trouble_n of_o the_o reader_n in_o this_o place_n which_o the_o view_n and_o examination_n of_o the_o several_n will_v cost_v he_o
