which_o be_v confirm_v by_o these_o word_n wherein_o he_o be_v say_v to_o exist_v before_o all_o thing_n for_o if_o he_o be_v not_o true_a god_n he_o shall_v be_v a_o creature_n if_o a_o creature_n we_o can_v not_o say_v that_o he_o be_v before_o all_o thing_n because_o he_o who_o shall_v have_v create_v he_o shall_v have_v his_o existence_n before_o he_o for_o every_o creature_n suppose_v a_o be_v antecedent_n from_o who_o it_o have_v receive_v its_o existence_n since_o therefore_o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v before_o all_o thing_n it_o be_v because_o he_o be_v the_o true_a god_n for_o none_o but_o the_o true_a god_n can_v be_v say_v proper_o to_o be_v before_o all_o thing_n every_o creature_n have_v its_o be_v of_o he_o and_o he_o neither_o have_v nor_o can_v have_v his_o existence_n from_o any_o thing_n whatsoever_o have_v it_o of_o himself_o from_o all_o eternity_n object_n the_o church_n of_o england_n believe_v as_o a_o article_n of_o faith_n that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n proceed_v from_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n and_o though_o they_o can_v make_v it_o appear_v that_o he_o proceed_v from_o the_o father_n from_o the_o word_n of_o st._n john_n 15._o 26._o yet_o they_o can_v prove_v that_o he_o proceed_v from_o the_o son_n i_o answer_v as_o before_o to_o wit_n that_o these_o word_n the_o holy_a ghost_n proceed_v from_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n be_v not_o find_v distinct_o in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n but_o yet_o be_v infer_v from_o it_o by_o clear_a and_o necessary_a consequence_n so_o these_o word_n of_o jesus_n christ_n all_o thing_n 15._o that_o the_o father_n have_v be_v i_o and_o those_o of_o the_o 17._o 10._o chapter_n all_o i_o be_v thou_o and_o thou_o be_v i_o prove_v this_o evident_o for_o if_o it_o be_v true_a as_o it_o be_v grant_v by_o all_o divine_n viz._n that_o all_o thing_n that_o the_o father_n have_v the_o son_n have_v likewise_o the_o relation_n of_o paternity_n only_o except_v the_o father_n produce_v the_o holy_a ghost_n it_o follow_v that_o the_o son_n do_v produce_v he_o also_o and_o consequent_o that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n proceed_v from_o the_o son_n as_o he_o proceed_v from_o the_o father_n this_o be_v manifest_v by_o 7._o these_o word_n of_o st._n john_n it_o be_v expedient_a for_o you_o that_o i_o go_v away_o for_o if_o i_o go_v not_o away_o the_o comforter_n will_v not_o come_v unto_o you_o but_o if_o i_o depart_v part_n i_o will_v send_v he_o unto_o you_o and_o by_o that_o of_o the_o 25._o 15._o when_o the_o comforter_n be_v come_v who_o i_o will_v send_v unto_o you_o from_o the_o father_n for_o if_o you_o suppose_v what_o you_o do_v already_o believe_v and_o as_o i_o will_v make_v appear_v in_o the_o sequel_n of_o my_o discourse_n viz._n that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v god_n as_o it_o be_v declare_v by_o the_o word_n of_o the_o 5_o of_o the_o act_n to_o lie_v to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v to_o lie_v unto_o god_n and_o as_o it_o appear_v by_o the_o essential_a attribute_n of_o the_o godhead_n ascribe_v unto_o he_o as_o the_o sanctification_n of_o soul_n and_o omniscience_n for_o
