you_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n for_o i_o fear_v that_o many_o be_v guilty_a in_o this_o matter_n and_o that_o posterity_n be_v like_a to_o be_v little_o behold_v to_o they_o admit_v of_o a_o few_o expostulation_n and_o consider_v what_o will_v your_o child_n and_o servant_n say_v when_o they_o come_v to_o succeed_v you_o and_o peradventure_o die_v at_o last_o in_o therâ—â—_n sin_n lord_n our_o parent_n and_o master_n do_v not_o make_v know_v the_o truth_n to_o we_o they_o do_v not_o catechise_v and_o instruct_v we_o they_o do_v not_o deliver_v to_o we_o the_o form_n of_o sound_a word_n nor_o any_o brief_a sum_n of_o the_o article_n of_o faith_n and_o true_a religion_n but_o we_o live_v and_o die_v in_o ignorance_n for_o they_o have_v no_o care_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o if_o other_o deal_v thus_o with_o their_o child_n and_o servant_n religion_n itself_o may_v have_v perish_v as_o we_o have_v do_v now_o will_v not_o this_o be_v most_o miserable_a and_o be_v you_o willing_a to_o be_v thus_o indict_v by_o your_o child_n and_o servant_n in_o that_o great_a day_n do_v not_o hezekiah_n here_o say_v the_o father_n to_o the_o child_n shall_v make_v know_v thy_o truth_n and_o be_v it_o not_o express_v as_o a_o duty_n and_o a_o great_a one_o too_o and_o do_v not_o hezekiah_n look_v upon_o this_o as_o one_o of_o the_o great_a work_n to_o be_v attend_v in_o this_o world_n without_o which_o it_o be_v not_o worth_a while_n to_o live_v hezekiah_n indeed_o have_v no_o son_n at_o this_o time_n but_o he_o resolve_v here_o that_o if_o god_n shall_v give_v he_o one_o he_o will_v make_v know_v the_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n of_o god_n to_o he_o for_o he_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o his_o duty_n when_o he_o say_v the_o father_n to_o the_o child_n shall_v make_v know_v thy_o truth_n and_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o many_o be_v so_o ignorant_a this_o day_n but_o because_o they_o want_v family-instruction_n from_o parent_n and_o master_n for_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o that_o such_o do_v live_v under_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n if_o they_o want_v instruction_n in_o the_o family_n wherein_o they_o have_v live_v the_o want_n whereof_o make_v the_o minister_n plough_v to_o go_v so_o heavy_o oh_o let_v not_o the_o child_n and_o servant_n rise_v up_o in_o judgement_n against_o you_o and_o charge_v their_o ignorance_n and_o damnation_n upon_o the_o neglect_n of_o your_o duty_n towards_o they_o three_o consider_v with_o who_o god_n have_v betrust_v the_o gospel_n and_o true_a religion_n 1._o he_o put_v his_o minister_n in_o trust_n with_o it_o care_n and_o what_o have_v you_o say_v to_o they_o and_o where_o be_v the_o altar_n ed_n that_o you_o have_v build_v for_o they_o as_o a_o witness_n and_o memorial_n of_o the_o true_a religion_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n which_o you_o have_v commend_v to_o they_o no_o marvel_v that_o religion_n decay_v in_o many_o family_n when_o their_o governor_n have_v wrap_v up_o their_o religion_n in_o a_o napkin_n and_o profess_v only_o for_o themselves_o and_o not_o for_o they_o that_o shall_v come_v after_o they_o you_o that_o be_v guilty_a in_o this_o part_n will_v have_v a_o sad_a reckon_n to_o at_o all_o they_o leave_v their_o earthly_a substance_n to_o their_o child_n but_o that_o which_o be_v the_o most_o substantial_a thing_n of_o all_o they_o leave_v it_o not_o to_o they_o and_o they_o leave_v their_o name_n to_o their_o child_n but_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n they_o leave_v not_o nor_o have_v they_o any_o care_n that_o christ_n name_n be_v name_v upon_o they_o by_o endeavour_v to_o make_v they_o christian_n indeed_o according_a to_o their_o duty_n ult_n as_o the_o psalmist_n say_v i_o will_v make_v thy_o name_n to_o be_v remember_v in_o all_o generation_n 17_o present_a generation_n and_o never_o be_v concern_v that_o god_n may_v be_v glorify_v in_o future_a age_n even_o to_o the_o world_n end_n but_o your_o desire_n herein_o must_v reach_v to_o the_o the_o flower_n in_o your_o garden_n which_o without_o care_n and_o culture_n will_v soon_o degenerate_a remember_v therefore_o your_o covenant_n and_o attend_v the_o term_n thereof_o which_o concern_v you_o in_o relation_n to_o your_o posterity_n and_o say_v i_o be_o not_o only_o natural_o but_o also_o federal_o bind_v to_o use_v all_o mean_n to_o train_v up_o my_o child_n in_o the_o nurture_n your_o own_o soul_n and_o not_o of_o they_o too_o or_o be_v not_o they_o as_o precious_a as_o you_o or_o be_v it_o all_o one_o to_o you_o where_o you_o spend_v your_o eternity_n and_o whether_o you_o go_v to_o heaven_n or_o hell_n in_o the_o meanwhile_n where_o be_v your_o religion_n where_o your_o love_n of_o god_n and_o godliness_n where_o your_o conscience_n as_o to_o your_o covenant_n or_o what_o care_n have_v you_o that_o godliness_n may_v flourish_v in_o the_o next_o generation_n who_o take_v not_o the_o course_n that_o it_o may_v thrive_v in_o your_o own_o family_n take_v heed_n not_o despond_v as_o to_o the_o success_n of_o their_o endeavour_n i_o have_v live_v to_o see_v the_o bless_a fruit_n of_o pious_a education_n and_o that_o though_o child_n so_o educate_v have_v go_v
