true_a that_o god_n have_v make_v grant_n of_o christ_n to_o sinner_n so_o that_o if_o he_o accept_v this_o grant_n he_o shall_v be_v save_v this_o be_v that_o faith_n which_o in_o school_n be_v call_v historical_a because_o it_o go_v no_o further_a than_o to_o give_v assent_n and_o credit_n to_o the_o story_n of_o that_o which_o god_n speak_v to_o be_v true_a which_o one_o may_v believe_v for_o another_o and_o therefore_o this_o can_v be_v true_a justify_n faith_n and_o this_o may_v be_v in_o those_o that_o know_v they_o be_v bid_v to_o the_o wedding_n yet_o refuse_v to_o come_v so_o that_o though_o this_o be_v necessary_a to_o true_a justify_n faith_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a therefore_o in_o justify_v faith_n there_o be_v require_v another_o and_o more_o special_a work_n namely_o to_o receive_v christ_n and_o life_n in_o he_o offer_v in_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v the_o second_o general_a point_n to_o be_v consider_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o this_o justify_n faith_n namely_o that_o beside_o the_o assent_n of_o the_o mind_n and_o judgement_n to_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n gospel_n the_o second_o special_a work_n of_o faith_n be_v to_o receive_v christ_n offer_v we_o in_o the_o gospel_n we_o give_v consent_n with_o our_o heart_n and_o will_n and_o so_o willing_o and_o glad_o accept_v god_n gift_n of_o christ_n whereby_o indeed_o he_o be_v that_o his_o service_n be_v so_o full_a of_o infirmity_n be_v please_v to_o god_n it_o must_v be_v confess_v that_o while_o we_o live_v here_o there_o be_v flesh_n and_o spirit_n mingle_v in_o all_o the_o action_n of_o god_n child_n so_o that_o as_o their_o best_a prayer_n be_v stain_v with_o some_o corruption_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o i_o conceive_v that_o there_o be_v some_o operation_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o their_o weak_a which_o be_v offer_v up_o in_o faith_n be_v assure_o acceptable_a to_o god_n &_o therein_o may_v god_n child_n find_v sound_a comfort_n not_o in_o himself_o nor_o labour_n have_v gather_v out_o all_o the_o promise_n as_o well_o as_o i_o can_v out_o of_o both_o the_o testament_n which_o be_v lay_v together_o make_v a_o great_a heap_n of_o heavenly_a treasure_n seal_n and_o give_v of_o some_o earnest_n which_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o prize_n covenant_v do_v assure_v the_o whole_a payment_n so_o do_v the_o most_o faithful_a god_n by_o these_o first_o
