8.23_o iho._n 3.36_o heb._n 11.1_o rom._n 8.23_o and_o indeed_o as_o faith_n be_v of_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o see_v so_o the_o understanding_n of_o it_o consist_v more_o in_o certainty_n than_o in_o apprehension_n in_o this_o complaint_n of_o david_n yea_o and_o of_o christ_n himself_o my_o god_n my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o forsake_v i_o 27.46_o psal_n 22.1_o mat._n 27.46_o we_o hear_v bring_v it_o forth_o only_o in_o such_o as_o he_o dwell_v in_o he_o dwell_v then_o in_o they_o in_o like_a manner_n be_v not_o this_o prayer_n the_o work_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o they_o for_o it_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n say_v s._n paul_n which_o pray_v for_o we_o 8.25_o rom._n 8.25_o and_o in_o we_o with_o groan_n that_o can_v be_v express_v again_o none_o can_v come_v to_o god_n by_o be_v with_o child_n and_o that_o she_o go_v with_o a_o live_a child_n so_o if_o we_o have_v these_o motion_n these_o holy_a affection_n and_o desire_n before_o mention_v let_v we_o not_o doubt_v but_o that_o we_o have_v the_o holy_a ghost_n who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o they_o dwell_v in_o we_o and_o consequent_o that_o we_o have_v also_o faith_n and_o we_o must_v understand_v that_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n cease_v not_o to_o be_v a_o true_a faith_n although_o they_o feel_v doubt_n fear_n &_o mistrust_v for_o if_o they_o delight_v not_o in_o such_o infirmity_n 7._o rom._n 7._o to_o nourish_v they_o but_o be_v sorrowful_a and_o resist_v they_o with_o desire_n to_o feel_v their_o salvation_n in_o jesus_n christ_n behold_v a_o battle_n in_o they_o and_o between_o who_o between_o the_o spirit_n and_o the_o flesh_n between_o faith_n and_o mistrust_v there_o be_v then_o in_o they_o faith_n assail_v with_o doubt_n and_o the_o spirit_n fight_v against_o mistrust_n and_o labour_v to_o overcome_v it_o these_o doubt_n mistrusting_n and_o incredulity_n be_v the_o fiery_a dart_n which_o satan_n throw_v against_o our_o faith_n the_o which_o bear_v the_o blow_n as_o a_o buckler_n as_o s._n paul_n say_v thrust_v they_o back_o and_o quench_v they_o so_o as_o they_o pierce_v not_o to_o the_o heart_n 6.16_o eph._n 6.16_o what_o devise_n or_o assault_n soever_o the_o devil_n make_v against_o we_o faith_n s._n augustine_n so_o he_o occupy_v not_o the_o place_n of_o the_o heart_n where_o faith_n dwell_v he_o be_v drive_v back_o incredulity_n then_o assault_v we_o 77.8_o 9_o 10_o 11_o vers_n will_v he_o no_o more_o show_v i_o favour_v be_v his_o mercy_n clean_o go_v for_o ever_o be_v his_o promise_n come_v to_o a_o end_n for_o evermore_o have_v god_n forget_v
