a_o monk_n ignatius_n loyola_n charles_n borromeus_n late_a bishop_n of_o milan_n and_o other_o like_v they_o who_o we_o know_v hate_v and_o persecute_v that_o holy_a faith_n whereof_o we_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n make_v open_a profession_n by_o the_o consideration_n already_o represent_v about_o the_o point_n of_o the_o eucharist_n it_o be_v easy_a to_o see_v that_o these_o article_n and_o divers_a other_o which_o for_o brevity_n sake_n i_o omit_v overthrow_v the_o foundation_n of_o faith_n and_o piety_n so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o lawful_a for_o we_o to_o comply_v with_o those_o belief_n they_o hold_v and_o quit_v the_o communion_n of_o those_o who_o faith_n they_o disapprove_v and_o let_v they_o not_o slatter_v themselves_o to_o think_v that_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n retain_v the_o apostle_n creed_n and_o the_o sum_n of_o christian_a doctrine_n since_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o one_o at_o least_o of_o those_o error_n which_o they_o add_v thereto_o be_v mortal_a for_o as_o those_o good_a and_o wholesome_a meat_n which_o a_o man_n eat_v at_o his_o refreshment_n hinder_v he_o not_o from_o die_v if_o by_o and_o by_o he_o swallow_v some_o poison_n semblable_o true_a and_o wholesome_a doctrine_n do_v not_o preserve_v those_o which_o believe_v it_o if_o together_o with_o it_o they_o entertain_v some_o pernicious_a and_o damnable_a error_n in_o other_o particular_n evil_n have_v this_o advantage_n above_o good_a that_o it_o spread_v much_o far_a and_o be_v far_o more_o active_a for_o neither_o truth_n nor_o virtue_n can_v save_v a_o man_n unless_o they_o be_v pure_a and_o sincere_a without_o the_o intermixture_n of_o any_o ill_a and_o dangerous_a habit_n whereas_o error_n and_o vice_n damn_v a_o man_n be_v they_o mingle_v with_o never_o so_o many_o truth_n and_o virtue_n for_o as_o a_o man_n though_o he_o be_v chaste_a and_o modest_a shall_v not_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n if_o he_o be_v covetous_a or_o a_o slanderer_n of_o
