man_n learn_v of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n who_o be_v truth_n itself_o say_v he_o not_o if_o i_o shall_v bear_v witness_n of_o myself_o my_o witness_n 54._o be_v not_o true_a and_o again_o if_o i_o honour_v myself_o my_o honour_n be_v nothing_o worth_a then_o if_o beside_o the_o word_n of_o his_o own_o mouth_n who_o be_v the_o son_n of_o david_n he_o have_v have_v no_o testimony_n he_o can_v have_v be_v no_o true_a prophet_n but_o therefore_o he_o be_v true_a because_o his_o heavenly_a father_n bare_a witness_n to_o he_o both_o in_o his_o glorious_a voice_n and_o in_o the_o assure_a will_v have_v no_o trial_n of_o their_o do_n but_o the_o censure_n and_o judgement_n of_o their_o own_o mouth_n again_o this_o unreasonable_a &_o unture_v speech_n the_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n only_o must_v expound_v the_o scripture_n because_o they_o be_v hard_o be_v there_o any_o godliness_n at_o all_o in_o so_o say_v be_v it_o not_o teach_v we_o many_o time_n that_o if_o we_o love_v fear_v honour_n serve_v god_n we_o must_v obey_v his_o word_n keep_v his_o ordinance_n make_v all_o his_o law_n the_o rule_n of_o our_o life_n how_o then_o do_v they_o love_v god_n or_o what_o godliness_n be_v in_o they_o that_o give_v not_o god_n word_n credit_n in_o itself_o but_o make_v the_o truth_n of_o it_o to_o stand_v upon_o their_o own_o understanding_n this_o now_o we_o know_v the_o hardness_n of_o scripture_n be_v not_o that_o we_o shall_v abstain_v from_o read_v and_o hear_v it_o nor_o because_o we_o shall_v trust_v the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n but_o because_o we_o shall_v with_o great_a and_o earnest_a affection_n apply_v our_o study_n &_o pray_v unto_o god_n to_o lighten_v our_o mind_n that_o we_o may_v be_v teach_v of_o his_o spirit_n now_o further_o let_v we_o consider_v yet_o these_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n because_o you_o be_v evil_a of_o hear_v not_o only_o as_o i_o have_v say_v they_o teach_v we_o because_o of_o the_o hardness_n of_o the_o scripture_n to_o take_v more_o heed_n unto_o it_o but_o also_o very_o plain_o and_o manifest_o they_o teach_v we_o by_o what_o mean_v the_o scripture_n become_v hard_a unto_o we_o that_o be_v through_o our_o dull_a hear_v and_o who_o so_o ever_o he_o be_v to_o who_o the_o scripture_n be_v hard_a let_v he_o accuse_v his_o own_o dullness_n and_o whosoever_o blame_v the_o scripture_n in_o this_o behalf_n he_o blame_v himself_o both_o of_o slow_a ear_n and_o of_o a_o faithless_a heart_n for_o be_v there_o any_o thing_n thing_n more_o plain_a than_o these_o word_n therefore_o it_o be_v hard_a because_o you_o be_v dull_a of_o hear_v take_v away_o from_o the_o man_n a_o deaf_a ear_n and_o a_o careless_a mind_n and_o thou_o have_v take_v from_o the_o scripture_n all_o obscurity_n and_o darkness_n leave_v the_o man_n in_o his_o negligent_a mind_n &_o thou_o make_v the_o scripture_n as_o hard_o as_o any_o dark_a speech_n or_o riddle_n and_o i_o beseech_v you_o the_o more_o to_o confirm_v your_o faith_n in_o this_o persuasion_n mark_v how_o often_o in_o the_o scripture_n this_o be_v teach_v we_o that_o nothing_o make_v the_o scripture_n hard_o but_o our_o accuse_v the_o word_n of_o god_n of_o hardness_n as_o saint_n paul_n have_v say_v the_o before_o we_o if_o the_o gospel_n be_v yet_o hide_v then_o be_v it_o hide_v to_o those_o that_o perish_v 4._o
cease_v and_o bound_v up_o these_o promise_n for_o another_o people_n that_o shall_v believe_v and_o then_o the_o prophet_n answer_v again_o to_o god_n in_o acknowledge_v all_o his_o truth_n &_o when_o the_o prophet_n will_v speak_v certain_o of_o salvation_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o danger_n he_o say_v of_o all_o those_o trouble_n they_o shall_v happen_v in_o thy_o land_n o_o emanuel_n at_o the_o mention_n of_o who_o name_n he_o have_v so_o sure_a hope_n that_o 8._o he_o defy_v the_o world_n &_o say_v gather_v together_o on_o heap_n o_o you_o people_n and_o you_o shall_v be_v break_v like_v unto_o we_o who_o he_o have_v deliver_v from_o sin_n and_o death_n and_o if_o he_o have_v save_v we_o he_o have_v save_v those_o who_o god_n have_v give_v he_o flesh_n of_o his_o flesh_n and_o bone_n of_o his_o bone_n for_o this_o be_v his_o intercession_n unto_o his_o father_n behold_v i_o and_o my_o child_n one_o other_o thing_n we_o must_v learn_v in_o this_o there_o be_v a_o apostasy_n the_o lord_n &_o bear_v record_n against_o pope_n &_o prelate_n they_o be_v all_o liar_n all_o place_n and_o all_o people_n be_v bring_v in_o order_n if_o they_o teach_v thing_n that_o the_o word_n
