name_n word_n and_o work_v of_o christ_n be_v my_o forasmuch_o as_o i_o firm_o believe_v in_o he_o so_o be_v my_o affliction_n also_o he_o in_o asmuch_o as_o i_o be_o afflict_v for_o his_o sake_n wherefore_o the_o affliction_n of_o christ_n be_v daily_o accomplish_v in_o christian_n even_o unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n this_o now_o be_v no_o small_a comfort_n unto_o we_o that_o howsoever_o thing_n fall_v out_o we_o be_v certain_a that_o all_o our_o affliction_n be_v so_o common_a together_o with_o christ_n and_o we_o that_o he_o count_v they_o not_o otherwise_o then_o his_o either_o of_o these_o it_o be_v far_o better_a to_o have_v the_o spirit_n without_o the_o tongue_n than_o the_o tongue_n without_o the_o spirit_n the_o prophet_n speak_v after_o a_o other_o sort_n than_o do_v the_o apostle_n yet_o do_v they_o signify_v the_o same_o thing_n which_o afterward_o the_o apostle_n preach_v for_o both_o show_n many_o thing_n of_o the_o affliction_n aswell_o of_o christ_n as_o of_o those_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o also_o of_o the_o glory_n that_o follow_v the_o same_o so_o david_n psal_n 22._o when_o he_o speak_v of_o christ_n in_o this_o sort_n i_o be_o a_o woâ—â—e_n and_o no_o man_n 〈◊〉_d do_v he_o else_o declare_v but_o his_o exceed_a debase_v and_o 〈◊〉_d which_o in_o his_o passion_n he_o suffer_v also_o psal_n 44._o he_o write_v of_o the_o here_o add_v that_o we_o must_v purify_v our_o soul_n in_o obei_v the_o truth_n through_o the_o spirit_n much_o have_v be_v preach_v and_o speak_v of_o chastity_n and_o many_o book_n have_v be_v write_v concern_v it_o the_o author_n whereof_o have_v teach_v we_o with_o long_o fast_v abstinence_n from_o flesh_n wine_n and_o such_o like_a to_o quench_v these_o filthy_a motion_n of_o concupiscence_n and_o lust_n which_o although_o some_o what_o they_o helpen_v thereunto_o yet_o can_v they_o not_o be_v sufficient_a neither_o can_v they_o beat_v down_o the_o inordinate_a desire_n of_o the_o flesh_n saint_n hierom_n write_v of_o himself_o that_o he_o so_o punish_v and_o pinch_v his_o body_n that_o he_o be_v even_o like_o a_o ethiopian_n yet_o nevertheless_o he_o so_o little_a our_o neighbour_n what_o shall_v i_o do_v that_o i_o may_v restrain_v and_o keep_v under_o my_o sin_n i_o must_v dutiful_o obey_v the_o truth_n in_o the_o spirit_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o faith_n in_o some_o filthy_a rag_n or_o vice_n clout_n therefore_o as_o we_o have_v the_o grace_n of_o christ_n and_o all_o spiritual_a blessing_n common_a together_o so_o also_o ought_v we_o to_o have_v our_o body_n life_n wealth_n and_o dignity_n common_a one_o to_o a_o other_o that_o one_o may_v serve_v a_o other_o turn_n and_o necessity_n in_o all_o thing_n now_o he_o very_o significantlie_o say_v to_o love_v brotherly_a without_o feign_v that_o be_v without_o any_o gloss_a hypocrisy_n or_o dissimulation_n which_o term_n and_o phrase_v the_o apostle_n glad_o use_v for_o that_o undoubted_o they_o foresee_v that_o we_o will_v not_o stick_v to_o call_v one_o a_o other_o christian_n or_o brother_n and_o yet_o will_v false_o feined_o dissemblyng_o and_o altogether_o hypocritical_o undermine_v one_o a_o other_o we_o have_v erect_v in_o the_o world_n many_o fraternity_n and_o brotherhoode_n which_o in_o very_a deed_n be_v nothing_o else_o then_o stark_a vanity_n and_o mere_a deceit_n altogether_o devise_v invent_a &_o bring_v into_o the_o world_n by_o the_o devil_n himself_o all_o which_o be_v whole_o and_o altogether_o repugnaunt_a and_o contrary_a to_o the_o faith_n and_o sincere_a love_n of_o brethren_n christ_n be_v aswell_o i_o as_o he_o be_v saint_n barnardes_n thou_o no_o less_o than_o he_o be_v s._n francis_n when_o thou_o hear_v any_o therefore_o say_v i_o shall_v come_v to_o heaven_n if_o i_o be_v one_o of_o the_o brotherhood_n of_o this_o or_o that_o order_n answer_v thou_o thus_o it_o be_v mere_a paltry_a and_o counterfeit_v hypocrisy_n that_o thou_o erect_v one_o but_o how_o not_o whereby_o to_o make_v any_o peculiar_a help_n to_o thy_o soul_n but_o for_o a_o certain_a number_n to_o come_v together_o to_o contribute_v and_o gather_v some_o treasure_n for_o the_o relief_n of_o they_o that_o be_v in_o necessity_n therefore_o all_o we_o christian_n have_v one_o brotherhood_n which_o we_o take_v upon_o we_o in_o our_o baptism_n of_o the_o therefore_o be_v that_o they_o which_o set_v abroache_v such_o sect_n and_o heresy_n and_o consequent_o deny_v christ_n die_v most_o unwilling_o and_o that_o with_o horror_n and_o desperation_n for_o it_o can_v not_o otherwise_o be_v sing_v they_o stand_v doubtful_a of_o their_o salvation_n use_v these_o or_o such_o like_a term_n who_o can_v tell_v whether_o god_n be_v merciful_a unto_o i_o and_o forgive_v i_o my_o sin_n or_o no_o and_o thus_o while_o they_o stand_v in_o doubt_n with_o these_o word_n who_o can_v tell_v and_o who_o know_v their_o conscience_n can_v never_o be_v merry_a nor_o quiet_a and_o the_o long_o that_o they_o continue_v plunge_v in_o this_o waver_a doubt_n the_o more_o terribler_n still_o will_v death_n be_v unto_o they_o which_o can_v never_o be_v overcome_v unless_o sin_n and_o guiltiness_n of_o conscience_n be_v first_o take_v away_o sudden_a death_n therefore_o destruction_n and_o damnation_n shall_v come_v upon_o they_o so_o that_o they_o shall_v way_n shall_v be_v follow_v of_o many_o by_o who_o the_o way_n of_o truth_n be_v evil_a speak_v of_o and_o this_o also_o we_o both_o have_v see_v and_o at_o this_o day_n in_o many_o place_n of_o the_o world_n do_v see_v to_o come_v to_o pass_v for_o he_o that_o fear_v god_n and_o study_v to_o lead_v a_o christian_a life_n be_v sure_o to_o be_v evil_o report_v of_o rahated_a and_o detest_a and_o the_o true_a sincere_a profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v not_o escape_v the_o rancorous_a note_n of_o spiteful_a reprehension_n but_o he_o spurn_v against_o and_o ill_o think_v of_o as_o though_o it_o be_v heresy_n and_o error_n if_o any_o man_n in_o zeal_n of_o truth_n shall_v preach_v and_o tell_v they_o that_o their_o sect_n be_v contrary_a to_o the_o doctrine_n lay_v down_o in_o the_o gospel_n for_o that_o they_o carry_v man_n away_o from_o faith_n to_o work_n they_o straightway_o with_o open_a mouth_n cry_v out_o against_o he_o and_o say_v accurse_a art_n thou_o for_o thou_o
