that_o there_o be_v no_o condemnation_n to_o they_o which_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n shall_v think_v that_o now_o that_o he_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n he_o may_v secure_o live_v in_o sin_n or_o live_v as_o he_o list_v and_o so_o bring_v a_o scandal_n on_o christian_a religion_n ver._n 2._o for_o the_o law_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n in_o christ_n jesus_n have_v make_v i_o free_a from_o the_o law_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o death_n the_o apostle_n praevent_v a_o objection_n here_o somewhat_o like_a to_o that_o objection_n which_o he_o prevent_v cap._n 7._o ver_fw-la 14._o for_o a_o weak_a and_o fainthearted_a christian_n may_v object_v here_o and_o say_v you_o require_v paul_n of_o all_o that_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n that_o they_o will_v walk_v not_o after_o the_o flesh_n faith_n shall_v think_v that_o he_o may_v continue_v in_o sin_n that_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n may_v the_o more_o abound_v and_o so_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n may_v be_v the_o more_o glorify_a as_o they_o be_v under_o the_o law_n through_o the_o motion_n of_o sin_n which_o be_v by_o the_o law_n but_o now_o because_o some_o may_v say_v that_o there_o can_v be_v no_o motion_n of_o sin_n by_o the_o law_n and_o other_o may_v say_v that_o the_o law_n will_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o sin_n if_o there_o be_v any_o motion_n of_o sin_n by_o it_o he_o show_v verse_n the_o seven_o and_o so_o forward_o to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o chapter_n both_o that_o the_o law_n be_v the_o occasion_n of_o sin_n to_o those_o which_o be_v under_o it_o and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o for_o all_o that_o the_o true_a and_o genuine_a cause_n thereof_o wherefore_o at_o the_o seven_o verse_n the_o better_a to_o show_v these_o thing_n which_o he_o speak_v of_o and_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o jew_n which_o live_v against_o who_o indignation_n and_o wrath_n be_v reveal_v he_o manifest_v the_o great_a heaviness_n and_o continual_a sorrow_n which_o he_o have_v in_o his_o heart_n for_o those_o jew_n which_o be_v his_o kinsman_n according_a to_o the_o flesh_n and_o to_o who_o among_o many_o other_o privilege_n the_o promise_n of_o god_n do_v belong_v to_o think_v that_o they_o resist_v that_o way_n which_o god_n have_v appoint_v for_o obtain_v righteousness_n or_o justification_n shall_v invent_v another_o way_n of_o their_o own_o and_o go_v about_o to_o establish_v that_o their_o own_o way_n and_o submit_v not_o or_o yield_v not_o to_o follow_v that_o way_n of_o righteousness_n which_o god_n have_v prescribe_v and_o this_o heaviness_n and_o continual_a sorrow_n of_o his_o heart_n for_o they_o he_o do_v show_v that_o they_o consider_v and_o contemplate_v his_o sorrow_n for_o they_o may_v pity_v their_o own_o self_n and_o embrace_v the_o truth_n that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v at_o the_o last_o but_o though_o he_o manife_v here_o the_o great_a heaviness_n and_o continual_a sorrow_n which_o he_o have_v in_o heart_n for_o those_o his_o kinsman_n to_o wit_n the_o jew_n yet_o he_o do_v but_o only_o trust_v or_o trouble_v thereby_o but_o commit_v to_o they_o as_o their_o own_o treasure_n and_o so_o as_o that_o they_o may_v have_v the_o full_a and_o entire_a benefit_n thereof_o 3._o for_o what_o if_o some_o do_v not_o believe_v shall_v their_o unbelief_n make_v the_o faith_n of_o god_n without_o effect_n 3._o but_o i_o think_v i_o hear_v a_o novice_n christian_n rise_v up_o against_o this_o and_o say_v yea_o but_o now_o god_n will_v not_o perform_v the_o promise_n contain_v in_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n that_o be_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o be_v comprehend_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n to_o those_o jew_n which_o be_v jew_n outward_o and_o those_o which_o be_v circumcise_v with_o the_o outward_a circumcision_n because_o they_o have_v believe_v those_o promise_n shall_v their_o unbelief_n make_v the_o fidelity_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n void_a and_o without_o effect_n and_o make_v he_o not_o so_o good_a as_o his_o word_n 4._o god_n forbid_v yea_o let_v god_n be_v true_a but_o every_o man_n a_o liar_n as_o it_o be_v write_v that_o thou_o may_v be_v justify_v in_o thy_o say_n and_o may_v overcome_v when_o thou_o be_v judge_v 4_o god_n forbid_v yea_o rather_o let_v god_n manifest_o appear_v by_o this_o their_o unbelief_n to_o be_v true_a in_o his_o promise_n and_o not_o a_o breaker_n of_o his_o word_n but_o let_v every_o man_n that_o say_v that_o god_n be_v not_o true_a in_o his_o promise_n and_o as_o good_a as_o his_o word_n appear_v by_o this_o to_o be_v a_o liar_n that_o according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v write_v psalm_n 51.4_o god_n may_v be_v declare_v and_o pronounce_v to_o be_v just_a in_o his_o say_n and_o may_v overcome_v when_o he_o be_v judge_v and_o sentence_n be_v to_o pass_v upon_o he_o whether_o he_o be_v true_a in_o his_o word_n and_o faithful_a in_o his_o promise_n or_o not_o 5._o but_o if_o our_o unrighteousness_n commend_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n what_o shall_v we_o say_v be_v god_n unrighteous_a who_o take_v vengeance_n i_o speak_v as_o a_o man_n 5._o but_o now_o because_o i_o say_v let_v every_o man_n be_v a_o liar_n that_o god_n may_v be_v justify_v in_o his_o say_n a_o sinner_n such_o a_o sinner_n as_o obscure_v and_o oppugnes_fw-la his_o glory_n as_o other_o sinner_n be_v 8._o and_o not_o rather_o as_o we_o be_v slanderous_o report_v and_o as_o some_o affirm_v that_o we_o say_v let_v we_o do_v evil_a that_o good_a may_v come_v who_o damnation_n be_v just_a 8._o and_o why_o rather_o do_v i_o not_o evil_a that_o good_a may_v come_v thereon_o which_o that_o
