disgrace_n why_o do_v thou_o expect_v stability_n in_o that_o which_o be_v subject_a to_o vanity_n thing_n will_v not_o trouble_v we_o if_o we_o do_v not_o expect_v too_o much_o from_o they_o if_o there_o grace_n have_v abound_v much_o more_o if_o man_n sin_n be_v multiply_v grace_n and_o mercy_n shall_v be_v multiply_v much_o more_o and_o still_o out-go_v and_o swallow_v they_o up_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o trust_v he_o in_o his_o all-sufficiency_n and_o will_v venture_v upon_o any_o thing_n we_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o do_v our_o duty_n we_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o suffer_v persecution_n as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v because_o we_o trust_v in_o the_o live_a god_n it_o be_v a_o certain_a and_o true_a rule_n no_o man_n be_v able_a to_o guide_v his_o life_n aright_o his_o riches_n his_o credit_n his_o liberty_n aright_o except_o he_o be_v able_a to_o neglect_v they_o and_o no_o man_n be_v able_a to_o neglect_v they_o except_o he_o have_v some_o thing_n that_o be_v better_a in_o stead_n of_o they_o except_o he_o see_v these_o two_o thing_n a_o emptiness_n in_o they_o and_o a_o fullness_n some_o where_o else_o but_o now_o who_o be_v able_a to_o persuade_v man_n of_o this_o sure_o he_o that_o persuade_v solomon_n that_o all_o be_v vanity_n it_o be_v he_o that_o must_v persuade_v we_o without_o he_o it_o can_v be_v do_v what_o be_v the_o reason_n else_o that_o peter_n andrew_n john_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v able_a to_o forsake_v all_o thing_n when_o other_o be_v not_o doubtlesle_a because_o they_o be_v persuade_v they_o shall_v find_v it_o again_o in_o christ_n when_o other_o be_v not_o so_o persuade_v flesh_n and_o blood_n do_v not_o teach_v they_o but_o the_o holy_a ghost_n reveal_v it_o to_o they_o that_o though_o they_o have_v he_o go_v nor_o what_o become_v of_o he_o it_o be_v nothing_o then_o for_o he_o ot_fw-mi pass_v from_o prison_n to_o prison_n from_o affliction_n to_o affliction_n so_o as_o long_o as_o a_o man_n he_o as_o you_o know_v it_o be_v in_o the_o dark_a night_n that_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o a_o man_n be_v in_o darkness_n when_o the_o fear_n of_o man_n and_o the_o favour_n of_o man_n seem_v great_a unto_o he_o so_o it_o will_v be_v when_o god_n do_v but_o leave_v we_o a_o little_a when_o he_o do_v but_o cloud_v we_o when_o he_o withdraw_v from_o we_o that_o light_n of_o his_o all-sufficiency_n than_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o sink_v and_o to_o fail_v in_o our_o duty_n and_o to_o turn_v aside_o to_o balk_v the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n and_o therefore_o if_o you_o will_v have_v the_o use_n of_o this_o all-sufficiency_n if_o you_o will_v be_v persuade_v that_o all_o
man_n be_v never_o so_o potent_a yet_o say_v he_o consider_v his_o breathe_n be_v in_o his_o nostril_n and_o he_o shall_v be_v make_v as_o the_o grass_n that_o be_v man_n in_o truth_n he_o be_v of_o than_o the_o wind_n what_o so_o brittle_a and_o so_o unconstant_a we_o see_v that_o for_o the_o most_o part_n they_o be_v carry_v to_o do_v we_o good_a or_o evil_n with_o by-respect_n with_o something_o touch_v themselves_o they_o be_v turn_v to_o and_o fro_o as_o the_o weathercock_n and_o mill_n be_v that_o when_o the_o wind_n cease_v and_o when_o the_o water_n fail_v stand_v still_o they_o be_v drive_v to_o do_v for_o we_o so_o long_o as_o such_o respect_n lead_v they_o no_o long_o and_o therefore_o to_o trust_v in_o man_n it_o be_v not_o the_o safe_a it_o be_v not_o the_o wise_a way_n see_v this_o in_o some_o few_o example_n david_n how_o inconstant_a do_v he_o find_v the_o people_n inconstancy_n and_o apt_a to_o rebel_v against_o he_o and_o so_o moses_n yea_o david_n himself_o though_o he_o be_v a_o holy_a man_n yet_o how_o inconstant_a be_v he_o inconstant_a to_o mephibosheth_n one_o that_o be_v innocent_a one_o that_o have_v never_o do_v he_o any_o wrong_n one_o that_o have_v never_o give_v he_o occasion_n how_o inconstant_a be_v he_o to_o joab_n when_o he_o have_v prevail_v in_o that_o battle_n against_o absolom_n how_o quick_o be_v he_o out_o of_o grace_n they_o be_v circumvent_v david_n on_o the_o other_o side_n when_o he_o be_v asleep_a in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o enemy_n when_o there_o be_v a_o host_n pitch_v against_o he_o yet_o say_v he_o i_o lay_v i_o down_o and_o sleep_v why_o because_o the_o lord_n sustain_v i_o so_o that_o both_o for_o our_o safety_n when_o we_o be_v in_o danger_n and_o likewise_o to_o have_v our_o work_n wrought_v for_o we_o to_o trust_v in_o god_n and_o not_o to_o trust_v either_o in_o our_o own_o wisdom_n or_o in_o the_o wisdom_n or_o strength_n of_o man_n that_o we_o shall_v find_v constant_o to_o be_v the_o best_a way_n when_o david_n abstain_v from_o go_v up_o to_o battle_n against_o naball_n when_o he_o take_v the_o counsel_n of_o his_o wife_n and_o when_o he_o abstain_v from_o put_v violent_a hand_n upon_o saul_n you_o see_v how_o god_n wrought_v it_o for_o he_o he_o give_v he_o nabals_n wife_n he_o give_v he_o saules_n wife_n and_o his_o house_n and_o his_o kingdom_n into_o his_o hand_n this_o he_o get_v by_o trust_v he_o but_o when_o man_n will_v make_v their_o own_o way_n when_o they_o will_v go_v about_o enterprise_n with_o their_o own_o wisdom_n in_o his_o own_o wisdom_n and_o strength_n shall_v no_o man_n be_v strong_a god_n have_v say_v it_o and_o he_o will_v make_v it_o good_a upon_o all_o occasion_n the_o conclusion_n therefore_o be_v if_o the_o battle_n be_v not_o to_o the_o strong_a nor_o the_o race_n to_o the_o swift_a etc._n etc._n if_o man_n of_o the_o great_a ability_n be_v often_o disappoint_v of_o their_o hope_n and_o end_n than_o we_o shall_v not_o make_v flesh_n our_o arm_n but_o trust_v in_o god_n both_o for_o safety_n in_o danger_n and_o to_o bring_v our_o enterpise_v to_o pass_v and_o so_o much_o for_o this_o point_n we_o now_o proceed_v neither_o do_v man_n know_v his_o time_n this_o be_v add_v partly_o as_o a_o second_o vanity_n which_o solomon_n see_v under_o the_o sun_n and_o partly_o as_o a_o reason_n of_o the_o former_a for_o say_v he_o the_o like_a sense_n 7._o eccles._n 8._o 4._o 5._o 6._o 7._o where_o the_o word_n of_o the_o king_n be_v there_o be_v power_n and_o who_o shall_v say_v to_o he_o what_o do_v thou_o that_o be_v it_o be_v a_o dangerous_a thing_n to_o admonish_v prince_n who_o shall_v say_v to_o a_o prince_n what_o do_v thou_o say_v the_o wiseman_n there_o be_v a_o time_n wherein_o we_o may_v admonish_v prince_n
