outward_a blessing_n nay_o some_o inward_a and_o some_o spiritual_a also_o may_v be_v cast_v in_o to_o a_o wicked_a man_n and_o he_o still_o continue_v most_o wretched_a shall_v riches_n honour_n power_n glory_n pleasure_n be_v all_o heap_v upon_o one_o man_n in_o that_o measure_n his_o own_o heart_n desire_v shall_v wisdom_n courage_n health_n strength_n beauty_n and_o other_o such_o endowment_n of_o body_n and_o mind_n be_v add_v to_o the_o other_o nay_o the_o word_n sacrament_n and_o some_o illightning_n etc._n etc._n be_v adjoin_v all_o these_o can_v not_o make_v up_o this_o bless_a estate_n nor_o seat_v this_o man_n in_o a_o throne_n of_o happiness_n necessary_o this_o follow_v for_o all_o these_o thing_n may_v belong_v to_o a_o man_n drown_v in_o sin_n and_o hellish_a wickedness_n who_o contemn_v and_o hate_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o god_n himself_o and_o therefore_o can_v be_v bless_v but_o because_o this_o truth_n do_v not_o easy_o sink_v into_o flesh_n and_o blood_n it_o will_v be_v needful_a as_o well_o by_o evident_a testimony_n of_o god_n to_o confirm_v it_o as_o by_o reason_n also_o and_o experience_n to_o settle_v it_o in_o our_o mind_n first_o therefore_o god_n testify_v of_o these_o thing_n that_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a our_o rejoice_v 24._o let_v not_o the_o rich_a man_n rejoice_v in_o his_o riches_n nor_o the_o strong_a man_n in_o his_o strength_n nor_o the_o wise_a man_n in_o his_o wisdom_n but_o let_v he_o that_o rejoice_v rejoice_v in_o this_o that_o he_o under_o stand_v and_o know_v i_o where_o purposely_o the_o lord_n consider_v what_o be_v the_o excellence_n of_o man_n exalt_v he_o above_o other_o creature_n other_o creature_n have_v strength_n and_o continuance_n as_o stone_n some_o have_v life_n as_o tree_n some_o a_o soul_n sense_n and_o motion_n as_o beast_n some_o singular_a understanding_n and_o knowledge_n as_o devil_n yet_o a_o man_n may_v excel_v they_o all_o if_o his_o excellency_n stand_v in_o strength_n and_o durance_n the_o very_a stone_n go_v beyond_o he_o if_o in_o life_n many_o tree_n will_v just_o claim_v priority_n if_o in_o sense_n dog_n eagle_n ape_n yea_o spider_n be_v more_o eminent_a if_o in_o understanding_n he_o be_v inferior_a and_o worse_o than_o those_o curse_a spirit_n the_o worst_a of_o creature_n yet_o the_o faithful_a apparent_o excel_v all_o these_o there_o
