he_o labour_v to_o disable_v the_o former_a virtue_n of_o faith_n and_o tempt_v to_o sin_n against_o god_n but_o when_o he_o can_v proceed_v so_o far_o he_o labour_v to_o discomfort_v and_o crush_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n when_o he_o prevail_v in_o the_o former_a he_o weaken_v all_o the_o property_n of_o faith_n when_o in_o the_o late_a only_o he_o do_v not_o then_o weaken_v all_o but_o only_o haunt_n and_o way_n where_o he_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o perish_v and_o from_o this_o resolution_n a_o man_n can_v by_o any_o discomfort_n be_v remove_v or_o make_v to_o bethink_v himself_o of_o any_o other_o new_a way_n but_o only_o that_o which_o he_o see_v be_v possible_a and_o probable_a and_o where_o he_o know_v if_o he_o find_v acceptance_n he_o shall_v have_v supply_n and_o life_n enough_o and_o this_o act_n may_v consist_v with_o much_o fear_n doubt_v and_o tremble_v the_o syrian_n have_v food_n and_o samaria_n have_v none_o therefore_o the_o leper_n resolve_v to_o venture_v abroad_o yet_o this_o they_o can_v do_v without_o much_o doubt_n and_o distrust_n because_o the_o syrian_n who_o they_o shall_v meet_v with_o be_v their_o enemy_n however_o this_o resolution_n overrule_v they_o because_o in_o their_o present_a estate_n they_o be_v sure_a to_o perish_v in_o the_o other_o there_o be_v room_n for_o hope_n and_o possibility_n of_o live_v and_o that_o carry_v they_o co_z ester_n resolution_n if_o we_o perish_v we_o perish_v such_o be_v the_o act_n of_o faith_n in_o this_o present_a case_n it_o be_v well_o assure_v that_o in_o the_o case_n a_o man_n be_v in_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o death_n to_o be_v expect_v therefore_o it_o make_v he_o resolve_v to_o relinquish_v that_o it_o look_v upon_o god_n as_o plenteous_a in_o power_n and_o mercy_n and_o so_o likely_a to_o save_v and_o yet_o it_o see_v he_o too_o as_o arm_v with_o justice_n against_o sin_n as_o just_o provoke_v and_o weary_v in_o his_o patience_n and_o therefore_o may_v fear_v to_o
