death_n he_o rail_v on_o christ._n first_o the_o evangelist_n observe_v how_o this_o impenitent_a at_o this_o time_n of_o his_o death_n fall_v to_o rail_v upon_o christ_n he_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v humble_v in_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o sin_n or_o in_o any_o penitent_a manner_n to_o make_v confession_n of_o the_o same_o considete_v that_o now_o he_o be_v from_o a_o temporal_a to_o come_v before_o a_o eternal_a judge_n and_o from_o the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o one_o to_o pass_v under_o the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o other_o as_o that_o he_o grow_v worse_a by_o his_o punishment_n by_o diverse_a example_n in_o the_o book_n of_o god_n not_o only_o in_o the_o wicked_a but_o also_o in_o the_o godly_a themselves_o who_o have_v make_v a_o fearful_a progress_n in_o sin_n when_o once_o they_o begin_v to_o fall_v from_o god_n thus_o be_v it_o with_o eva_n when_o satan_n have_v once_o prevail_v with_o she_o 3._o gen._n 3._o to_o lend_v a_o care_n unto_o his_o charm_n first_o she_o see_v the_o fruit_n and_o set_v open_v her_o eye_n the_o casement_n of_o her_o soul_n by_o the_o which_o the_o devil_n wound_v himself_o into_o her_o heart_n second_o she_o desire_v three_o to_o another_o and_o the_o last_o the_o worst_a 26.70_o mot._n 26.70_o of_o peter_n that_o from_o a_o bare_a denial_n of_o christ_n fall_v to_o curse_v and_o to_o swear_v that_o he_o know_v not_o this_o thing_n so_o come_v to_o pass_v first_o reas_n 1_o in_o regard_n of_o satan_n who_o do_v common_o so_o fortify_v what_o hold_v soever_o he_o win_v to_o himself_o that_o whensoever_o he_o find_v the_o heart_n of_o a_o sinner_n sweep_v and_o garnish_v 11._o luk_n 11._o by_o evil_a thought_n and_o sinful_a imagination_n fit_a to_o entertain_v satan_n satan_n will_v then_o bring_v with_o he_o remorseless_a in_o sin_n poor_a soul_n these_o be_v in_o misery_n and_o see_v it_o not_o be_v under_o god_n wrath_n and_o regard_v it_o not_o lay_v before_o these_o their_o misery_n in_o regard_n of_o sin_n beseech_v they_o with_o tear_n exhort_v they_o by_o the_o tender_a mercy_n of_o god_n threaten_v against_o they_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o law_n offer_v unto_o they_o the_o promise_n of_o not_o alone_o but_o have_v other_o sympathize_v with_o they_o who_o be_v ready_a to_o put_v under_o their_o hand_n &_o by_o their_o godly_a counsel_n comfort_n prayer_n and_o supplication_n be_v
