niceness_n and_o preciseness_n and_o so_o make_v but_o a_o mock_n of_o it_o the_o natural_a man_n perceive_v not_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n for_o they_o be_v foolishness_n unto_o he_o neither_o can_v he_o know_v they_o for_o they_o be_v spiritual_o discern_v 1_o cor._n 2._o 14._o second_o ignorance_n be_v a_o main_a let_v to_o this_o duty_n thus_o through_o ignorance_n the_o gentile_n have_v their_o understanding_n darken_v and_o be_v stranger_n from_o the_o life_n of_o god_n and_o commit_v sin_n with_o all_o greediness_n whereby_o they_o whole_o displease_v the_o lord_n ephes_n 4._o 18._o 19_o ignorance_n i_o mean_v both_o mere_a and_o simple_a careless_a wilful_a and_o affect_v both_o of_o god_n his_o word_n and_o will_v reveal_v three_o a_o main_a let_v to_o this_o duty_n be_v hardness_n of_o heart_n this_o be_v a_o cause_n of_o the_o former_a thus_o the_o gentile_n have_v their_o understanding_n darken_v through_o their_o ignorance_n because_o of_o the_o blindness_n or_o hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n ephes_n 4._o 18._o thus_o the_o more_o mean_v god_n use_v for_o the_o good_a of_o pharaoh_n have_v he_o have_v the_o grace_n to_o have_v make_v use_n of_o they_o the_o more_o he_o harden_v his_o heart_n as_o we_o read_v at_o large_a exod_a god_n give_v jesabell_n a_o space_n to_o repent_v but_o she_o repent_v not_o revel_v 2._o 21._o it_o be_v religion_n and_o hereby_o they_o either_o take_v occasion_n to_o sin_n more_o free_o or_o to_o defer_v and_o post_v off_o their_o repentance_n to_o the_o last_o or_o else_o to_o live_v and_o die_v in_o their_o sin_n without_o faith_n and_o repentance_n without_o which_o there_o be_v no_o please_v of_o god_n and_o last_o it_o make_v man_n cast_v off_o all_o care_n of_o do_v good_a and_o to_o church_n in_o the_o revelation_n chapt._n 2._o and_o 3._o signify_v the_o continuance_n and_o daily_a renew_n of_o it_o though_o they_o have_v repent_v before_o and_o great_a reason_n it_o shall_v their_o affection_n sanctify_v and_o the_o whole_a man_n conform_v to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o on_o the_o contrary_a they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v child_n of_o darkness_n who_o walk_v in_o the_o vanity_n of_o their_o mind_n have_v the_o understanding_n darken_v be_v altenate_v from_o the_o life_n of_o god_n through_o the_o ignorance_n that_o be_v in_o they_o because_o of_o their_o hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n who_o be_v pass_v feel_n have_v give_v themselves_o over_o unto_o lasciviousness_n to_o work_v all_o uncleanness_n with_o greediness_n ephes_n 4._o 17_o 18_o 19_o unto_o these_o latter_a this_o duty_n do_v not_o so_o proper_o belong_v therefore_o saint_n paul_n direct_o point_v at_o the_o party_n who_o must_v reproove_v viz._n child_n of_o light_n express_v himself_o plain_o elsewhere_o brethren_n if_o any_o man_n be_v sudden_o overtake_v in_o any_o offence_n you_o which_o be_v spiritual_a restore_v such_o a_o one_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n galath_n 6._o 1._o and_o in_o this_o place_n paul_n speak_v not_o so_o much_o of_o reproof_n by_o word_n as_o by_o deed_n by_o the_o light_n of_o a_o holy_a life_n which_o wicked_a man_n can_v perform_v use_v 1_o this_o deep_o condemn_v all_o those_o that_o have_v no_o care_n of_o their_o brethren_n and_o therefore_o though_o they_o sin_v open_o and_o common_o yet_o never_o reproove_v they_o as_o think_v it_o a_o duty_n not_o belong_v to_o their_o charge_n and_o nothing_o concern_v they_o these_o be_v right_a of_o cain_n his_o disposition_n be_o i_o my_o brother_n keeper_n gen._n 4._o 9_o therefore_o let_v they_o sink_v or_o swim_v what_o be_v that_o to_o we_o let_v they_o look_v to_o it_o who_o it_o concern_v for_o my_o part_n i_o will_v not_o meddle_v in_o it_o this_o i_o say_v be_v the_o common_a sin_n of_o these_o time_n most_o severe_o to_o be_v censure_v for_o by_o this_o mean_n he_o which_o may_v save_v a_o soul_n and_o will_v not_o which_o often_o time_n may_v be_v do_v by_o this_o christian_a reproof_n do_v in_o effect_n in_o what_o he_o lie_v kill_v and_o destory_n his_o brother_n soul_n which_o indeed_o oftentime_o perish_v for_o want_v of_o brotherly_a correction_n &_o reproof_n many_o have_v a_o care_n of_o the_o good_a of_o the_o body_n of_o other_o and_o they_o be_v bind_v in_o conscience_n so_o to_o do_v much_o more_o care_n than_o ought_v they_o to_o have_v of_o the_o good_a of_o their_o soul_n be_v far_o more_o precious_a than_o the_o body_n and_o look_v how_o far_o a_o man_n excel_v a_o beast_n so_o far_o shall_v we_o regard_v the_o good_a of_o our_o brethren_n more_o
