summon_v the_o people_n by_o his_o prophet_n jeremy_n 18.12_o jer._n 18.12_o to_o return_v from_o the_o evil_n of_o their_o way_n he_o bring_v they_o in_o say_v there_o be_v no_o hope_n and_o than_o run_v indefinite_o they_o run_v so_o far_o in_o sin_n till_o at_o last_o they_o dare_v not_o think_v of_o return_v which_o seem_v to_o have_v be_v david_n case_n when_o he_o cry_v out_o innumerable_a evil_n have_v compass_v i_o about_o my_o iniquity_n have_v take_v hold_v upon_o i_o so_o that_o i_o be_o not_o able_a to_o look_v up_o they_o be_v more_o than_o the_o hair_n of_o my_o head_n therefore_o my_o heart_n fail_v i_o while_o he_o stay_v and_o forbear_v to_o pass_v the_o ford_n which_o mercy_n have_v shallowed_a for_o he_o his_o sin_n like_o a_o torrent_n begin_v to_o overwhelm_v shall_v be_v assist_v but_o when_o once_o he_o have_v take_v what_o god_n offer_v he_o have_v a_o certainty_n of_o both_o but_o some_o may_v object_v that_o be_v their_o sin_n less_o object_n object_n than_o there_o be_v some_o hope_n but_o their_o sin_n have_v be_v so_o many_o and_o so_o strange_o aggravate_v that_o they_o must_v needs_o sit_v down_o under_o the_o sorrow_n as_o be_v in_o a_o hopeless_a condition_n for_o answer_v i_o wish_v all_o those_o who_o make_v this_o objection_n answ_n answ_n as_o indeed_o none_o ever_o think_v of_o return_v to_o god_n but_o he_o meet_v with_o this_o lion_n in_o his_o way_n will_v serious_o ask_v whether_o they_o find_v themselves_o as_o willing_a to_o forsake_v their_o sin_n as_o they_o pretend_v to_o be_v sorry_a for_o they_o and_o if_o they_o do_v then_o let_v they_o consider_v these_o three_o thing_n 1._o the_o latitude_n and_o extent_n of_o christ_n death_n i_o do_v not_o mean_v as_o to_o the_o universality_n of_o the_o person_n for_o i_o find_v no_o ground_n for_o that_o but_o as_o to_o the_o qualification_n of_o those_o for_o who_o christ_n die_v and_o we_o shall_v find_v it_o be_v for_o sinner_n for_o the_o ungodly_a for_o enemy_n 10_o rom._n 5.6_o 8_o 10_o from_o whence_o a_o repent_v sinner_n may_v thus_o argue_v if_o christ_n die_v for_o sinner_n then_o certain_o he_o will_v not_o refuse_v i_o because_o i_o have_v be_v a_o sinner_n if_o he_o die_v for_o enemy_n then_o sure_o he_o will_v not_o cast_v i_o off_o if_o i_o be_o ready_a to_o lay_v down_o my_o weapon_n and_o be_v reconcile_v unto_o he_o this_o be_v
