of_o god_n be_v so_o hard_a be_v because_o every_o thing_n in_o man_n do_v fight_v against_o it_o hence_o it_o do_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o believe_v do_v require_v the_o great_a piece_n of_o self-denial_n in_o they_o for_o a_o man_n to_o break_v the_o law_n and_o yet_o to_o be_v free_v from_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n this_o reason_n can_v comprehend_v 2._o ground_n why_o so_o few_o believe_v be_v either_o because_o they_o think_v they_o do_v believe_v already_o and_o yet_o do_v not_o or_o else_o they_o will_v believe_v but_o say_v they_o can_v first_o they_o think_v they_o do_v believe_v and_o yet_o do_v not_o and_o these_o be_v of_o three_o sort_n first_o ignorant_a person_n now_o ignorance_n and_o unbelief_n they_o always_o go_v togegether_o we_o read_v of_o paul_n that_o do_v thing_n before_o he_o be_v convert_v in_o ignorance_n and_o unbelief_n jer._n 4._o 22._o my_o people_n be_v foolish_a they_o know_v not_o i_o to_o do_v good_a they_o have_v no_o knowledge_n second_o those_o that_o boast_n and_o glory_n in_o their_o own_o righteousness_n these_o have_v no_o faith_n in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o righteousness_n the_o three_o sort_n of_o people_n that_o do_v think_v they_o do_v believe_v and_o do_v not_o be_v profane_a person_n and_o these_o be_v of_o two_o sort_n man_n of_o profane_a spirit_n and_o man_n of_o profane_a life_n profane_a practice_n 3._o ground_n or_o reason_n why_o so_o few_o believe_v be_v because_o it_o be_v the_o great_a design_n of_o satan_n either_o to_o hinder_v or_o overthrow_v our_o faith_n because_o believe_v do_v give_v the_o great_a glory_n to_o god_n and_o bring_v in_o the_o great_a good_a to_o we_o first_o it_o do_v give_v the_o great_a glory_n to_o god_n of_o any_o work_n in_o the_o world_n it_o do_v give_v glory_n to_o his_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n and_o power_n and_o mindfulness_n so_o it_o do_v give_v glory_n to_o jesus_n christ_n to_o his_o name_n power_n and_o godhead_n office_n and_o attribute_n by_o doubt_v we_o dishonour_v he_o frustrate_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n make_v the_o death_n of_o christ_n of_o none_o effect_n 4._o reason_n why_o believe_a be_v so_o hard_a a_o work_n be_v because_o of_o the_o multitude_n of_o false_a doctrine_n that_o there_o be_v in_o the_o world_n that_o a_o man_n scarce_o know_v who_o to_o hear_v or_o who_o to_o believe_v etc._n etc._n of_o repentance_n unto_o life_n repentance_n and_o faith_n be_v two_o inseparable_a companion_n where_o the_o one_o do_v dwell_v the_o other_o will_v lodge_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n there_o be_v
