judicial_a blindness_n of_o mind_n and_o hardness_n of_o heart_n 4._o admit_v thou_o have_v such_o a_o power_n if_o it_o still_o remain_v establish_v that_o this_o power_n must_v be_v produce_v into_o act_n and_o that_o before_o thou_o can_v enter_v into_o heaven_n thou_o must_v actual_o repent_v and_o believe_v how_o do_v thou_o know_v thou_o shall_v have_v time_n for_o it_o may_v not_o god_n their_o own_o death_n this_o be_v the_o case_n of_o elijah_n 1_o king_n 19_o 4._o jezebel_n send_v a_o message_n to_o he_o have_v swear_v by_o her_o god_n that_o by_o the_o next_o day_n she_o will_v kill_v elijah_n as_o he_o have_v do_v by_o baal_n priest_n v._o 3._o v._n 4._o he_o go_v into_o the_o wilderness_n he_o go_v into_o the_o wilderness_n and_o sit_v under_o a_o juniper_n tree_n and_o upon_o they_o any_o way_n as_o a_o freedom_n from_o misery_n and_o the_o grave_n as_o a_o place_n where_o the_o wicked_a cease_v from_o trouble_v where_o the_o weary_a be_v at_o rest_n where_o the_o prisoner_n rest_v together_o and_o hear_v not_o the_o voice_n of_o the_o oppressor_n it_o be_v but_o natural_a to_o they_o to_o cry_v out_o wherefore_o be_v light_n give_v unto_o he_o that_o be_v in_o lesser_a now_o life_n be_v in_o the_o eye_n of_o nature_n the_o great_a good_a skin_n for_o skin_n say_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o a_o man_n have_v for_o his_o life_n one_o will_v think_v the_o devil_n can_v not_o show_v a_o man_n or_o woman_n any_o thing_n for_o the_o obtain_n of_o which_o he_o shall_v deliberate_o and_o voluntary_o part_v with_o his_o life_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v two_o thing_n 1_o though_o natural_a life_n in_o please_a circumstance_n be_v the_o great_a natural_a good_a yet_o life_n eternal_n be_v a_o more_o excellent_a good_n so_o that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v cheat_v by_o his_o own_o heart_n or_o by_o the_o devil_n so_o as_o to_o believe_v that_o the_o dispossession_n of_o himself_o of_o his_o natural_a life_n shall_v bring_v he_o into_o the_o possession_n of_o a_o eternal_a life_n he_o may_v upon_o that_o account_n be_v rational_o persuade_v to_o determine_v his_o own_o life_n thus_o the_o devil_n impose_v upon_o some_o of_o the_o heathen_n who_o have_v by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n but_o a_o dim_a prospect_n of_o that_o life_n and_o immortality_n which_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o be_v bring_v to_o light_n by_o the_o gospel_n dream_v that_o a_o happy_a state_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o another_o life_n be_v the_o common_a portion_n of_o all_o man_n or_o at_o least_o of_o all_o that_o live_v up_o in_o any_o degree_n to_o the_o rule_n of_o moral_a virtue_n and_o not_o understand_v that_o the_o wage_n of_o sin_n be_v death_n nor_o the_o right_a way_n to_o eternal_a life_n nor_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n that_o no_o murderer_n have_v eternal_a life_n abide_v for_o he_o no_o more_o than_o abide_n in_o he_o they_o may_v easy_o be_v so_o cheat_v as_o cleombrotus_n and_o other_o but_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o a_o believer_n one_o i_o mean_v who_o believe_v the_o scripture_n shall_v be_v thus_o entice_v for_o by_o faith_n he_o know_v that_o the_o law_n be_v thou_o shall_v do_v no_o
