scripture_n we_o both_o of_o we_o acknowledge_v to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o a_o infallible_a rule_n of_o faith_n but_o for_o any_o other_o direction_n they_o be_v not_o yet_o agree_v controversy_n of_o the_o text_n unto_o this_o day_n and_o then_o by_o the_o very_a same_o principle_n conclude_v against_o we_o all_o that_o we_o have_v none_o of_o we_o any_o certain_a ground_n for_o our_o religion_n because_o the_o difference_n that_o be_v among_o we_o plain_o show_v that_o some_o of_o we_o must_v be_v deceive_v and_o to_o go_v yet_o one_o step_n far_o may_v not_o a_o sceptic_a by_o the_o same_o rule_n argue_v against_o all_o religion_n and_o even_o against_o all_o reason_n too_o that_o the_o disagreement_n of_o mankind_n in_o these_o and_o many_o other_o point_n of_o the_o great_a importance_n clear_o prove_v that_o there_o be_v no_o certainty_n in_o any_o thing_n and_o therefore_o that_o
it_o will_v have_v be_v impossible_a for_o we_o ever_o to_o have_v come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o it_o to_o be_v most_o dear_a to_o we_o and_o not_o upon_o any_o account_n to_o be_v forsake_v by_o we_o but_o when_o to_o this_o we_o shall_v add_v that_o these_o truth_n be_v not_o matter_n of_o mere_a speculation_n only_o to_o employ_v the_o mind_n and_o exercise_v the_o soul_n in_o the_o contemplation_n of_o they_o that_o the_o concern_v here_o be_v not_o a_o useless_a theorem_a which_o whether_o we_o believe_v or_o not_o we_o be_v neither_o at_o all_o the_o worse_o now_o nor_o shall_v be_v ever_o the_o less_o happy_a hereafter_o but_o such_o by_o our_o keep_n or_o betray_v whereof_o we_o shall_v final_o be_v happy_a or_o miserable_a for_o ever_o that_o therefore_o to_o give_v up_o these_o truth_n be_v to_o become_v the_o vile_a traditor_n the_o betrayer_n not_o only_o of_o our_o religion_n but_o of_o our_o soul_n too_o and_o that_o to_o all_o eternity_n we_o can_v certain_o but_o think_v it_o to_o be_v very_o much_o our_o concern_n to_o take_v the_o advice_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o earnest_o contend_v for_o the_o faith_n that_o be_v once_o deliver_v to_o be_v such_o as_o ought_v very_o much_o to_o have_v engage_v their_o care_n in_o this_o contention_n for_o first_o as_o to_o the_o renounce_n of_o their_o faith_n they_o be_v actual_o under_o a_o persecution_n for_o it_o their_o interest_n their_o ease_n their_o inclination_n all_o solicit_v they_o so_o to_o do_v and_o as_o if_o all_o this_o be_v not_o enough_o some_o who_o call_v themselves_o christian_n among_o they_o not_o only_o encourage_v they_o by_o their_o example_n but_o even_o maintain_v it_o
on_o that_o one_o most_o just_a and_o reasonable_a method_n never_o to_o leave_v our_o own_o faith_n till_o we_o can_v be_v clear_o and_o evident_o convince_v that_o we_o have_v a_o better_o offer_v to_o we_o in_o the_o stead_n of_o it_o and_o then_o we_o shall_v either_o free_v ourselves_o altogether_o from_o the_o attack_n of_o our_o adversary_n who_o seldom_o care_n to_o meddle_v with_o
